Detailed Guide on How to Mix MasterBlend Nutrient 8-15-36 for Lettuce

Hello and welcome to Growing With Simon. In this hydroponic video I show you guys how I mix my MasterBlend lettuce nutrient. 1 tip that I didnt mention in the video is to use warm water to dissolve the nutrient. Since I was using melted snow, I had to heat up the water on the stove.

I use the masterblend tomato for all the plants that flower into veggies and I use the lettuce formula for leafy greens

Hello can you compare yeild result of 4-18-38 with 8-15-36? Masterblend user here but from Philippines

If you Google masterblend lettuce calculator they have one for 4-18-38 to be used for lettuce. Different ratio than with tomatoes.

I was never any good at mathematics, like really not good, I’ve just had some masterblend delivered & was trying to figure out how the hell I would work out the correct amount of each to use, I still don’t understand how the equation works but at least I know how to work it out now. 🤷🏼‍♂️👍🏼
