  • This tutorial will teach you on How to Convert your MasterBlend powder into a premixed Liquid Concentrate for 50 gallons for later use. This saves so much time and makes using MasterBlend extremely easy while still benefiting from the savings of the original powdered product. Once you do a batch you will never go back to the original way you were mixing your MasterBlend. Just make sure to keep the product away from light when storing and it should be good for at least 1 year.

    WHAT IS COST OF MASTE BLEND PER GALLON?
    $59.99
    www.ebay.com/itm/155041655512...
    10 lbs of MasterBlend1
    10 lbs of Calcium Nitrate
    5 lbs of Epson Salt
    453 grams in 1 pound
    2.4 grams of MB are needed per gallon
    2.4 grams of Calcium Nitrate are needed per gallon
    1.2 grams of Epsom Salt per gallon
    453 divided by 2.4 = Would make 188.75 gallons per pound
    188.75 gallons x 10 pounds = 1887.50 total gallons
    $60.00 divided by 1887.50 = 0.0317
    So if my math is right it would cost a little over .03 to make a gallon of full strength master blend..
    The shipping is free and there is no tax as it comes with all 3 things that are needed..
    Does that seem right??? Pretty cheap in my opinion!!!
    ---------------
    Master blend = Maximum Solubility: 3.5 lbs. Per gallon.
    Cal Nitrate = 1020g per L
    Mag Sulfate = 850g per L

    120 grams = 24 tsp water.
    I use his formula and put masterblend and epsom in 1 miracle grow sprayer. And, in second sprayer put calcium. According to miracle grower sprayer, it does 50 gallons and mixture is 1 1/3 teaspoon/ 6.4ml per gallon. This makes mixture a little lighter than his 10 ml, but works well. I spray outdoor garden and plants. The containers hold 16 oz or about 500 ml same as what he uses. Plants are beautiful and not burnt

    I have 55 gallon barrels I currently use to dissolve my Mittleider Constant Feed recipe. It's working out great for my growbeds. I just ordered the Masterblend to experiment and compare results with your hydroponics setup. When I saw your title for making 50 gallons, I assumed you were making 50 gallons at once. So my question is, do those little bottles make up to 50 gallons and is there any problem storing them that way long term? How often do you make them again?

      Yeah both of the those bottles are already premixed and both bottles are required to make up to 50 gallons. If you add 10 ML of each bottle per gallon of water you will get an EC around 2.3 which is the full strength. But really I been using around 4 ML per gallon as it gives me an EC of 1.5 which I been putting in the mini downspouts with the basil, my microgreens and my soil based house plants and they all have showed so much improvement. 50 gallons lasted be about 2 weeks as I started feeding a lot more of my plants and I can see the difference. As long the EC checks out I know all if good which it does and then I just adjust my PH. Supposedly people I read have stored up to 1 year with out an issue just keep them in a dark cool space. Someone also recommended to put in the refrigerator but I do not know if that is necessary. What I am mixing up I will be using in the next couple of weeks to a month but for me it is a game changer as I got a lot little things that need it and mixing the powder up was a little time consuming. If you are mixing up some 55 gallon reservoir then you would just mix it in there. It makes a lot more sense when you are mixing up smaller batches many times a week. Also I purchased a DIGG fertilizer injector at home depot will be testing this out to see if it works with the concentrate. thd.co/3QSDnvb This would be interesting to me if it works as it set at 100:1 so I just need fill it up injector and connect a garden hose to it and see what the EC of the water coming is at then adjust my concentration to make stronger or weaker. If if did work I would stick this before the main line running into my sprinkler valves and feed my yard and garden as they are on drips line, To many things!! ADHD!! Good luck!!

    I'm going to do this and want to make sure I understand. In the graph, under Concentrate Formula, it states 20ml per gallon and 10ml per gallon. Is there a formula for this where you are making 25 gallons and need it to be stronger? I just want to make sure that if I mix exactly as you did in the video - that I will use10ml from each bottle per gallon of water? Thank you!

    Wow, this is so advanced compared to my knowledge base. Do you use this solution every time that you water all of your plants?

      @rufflifehydro  Год назад +1

      I do on my house plants. As I will about 4ML of each and it works great. Using less is better and no issues..

    Question … why do you use RO water to mix the concentrate but use regular tap water to mix the concentrate before feeding?

    • @rufflifehydro
      @rufflifehydro  Год назад

      Yeah just RO or DISTILLED in the concentrate because TAP water has elements in it chlorine that could cause some reactions. The I will add the concentrate to my regular tap water

    what is ec

    • @rufflifehydro
      @rufflifehydro  Год назад

      It is the ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY in the water So you can measure the the amount of nutrients in the water by measuring the EC. Its the easiest way to see where you as you can also use the PPM which is the same thing but just uses a different math equation.
