- In this video I am using the @LETSRESIN Magic Pour Resin Casting Powder to make a trinket tray. I wanted a dark blue color and a silver color, so I measured out my powder in two pots, in one I mixed the Eye Candy Nikon Blue 2 large scoops, mixed it well in the casting powder. I the other pot I mixed 3 large scoops of silver mica powder and a scoop of holographic glitter. I started with the blue and added the water and stirred until mixed, then poured into half of the mold. I had a little left to poured it in a flower mold. Then I added water to the silver powder stirred until mixed and poured into other half of the mold. I tapped the mold to help remove and bubbles. the mold wasnt full after it was settled so I mixed up some more powder and left it white and poured that to fill the mold. once cured and dry I added two flower sticker and a butterfly to the tray and covered with clear resin. I used a silver paint pen around the edge of the tray. #resin, #resinart

Thank you for trying to stay and praying. We love you, Madame.❤❤❤❤
Thank you Jaqueline🥰
I love the trnket tray & also the little coasters with the flowers on them. Everything looks fabulous
Thank you Kum🤗🥰
❤👍🏻😊
I love that mold. Your choice of colors is perfect. Its very classy.
Thank you🥰🤗
I thought there was a kitty in distress outside my window. Sylvia needs treats 😂😂.
I just got this kit, so I'm watching what other people are doing with it. Thank you for sharing ❤.
Lol🤣 if you seen her you would know she doesnt NEED treats🤣🤣. You are going to have fun with it. Just don't panic its pretty forgiving stuff. 🥰❤
PS. I loved the flowers also.
Thanks again Katy❤🥰
Everything came out beautifully, love the two tone
Thank you Sherri🥰❤
😍😍😍😍❤️
Thank you Kimberly🥰❤
I struggle too with stickers and washi tape. I keep me a 2-3 inch piece of double sided tape under the edge of my leveling table. Makes it so much easier to remove the stickers. And I loved your tray also. Lol
Thank you Katy🥰❤ thats a great idea. Thanks for the tip.😁
Really pretty. Those stickers are beautiful, I just love holographic’s. I’ve seen the prism paint but, I haven’t tried it yet. It’s a beautiful effect. I was thinking.. maybe if you put some tape down on your work surface that outlines where the border of your camera frame is? That way if you’re working inside the tape, you’ll always be in frame. I haven’t recorded like that so, I don’t know if that’ll work. Just a thought.😊
Thank you🥰❤ I may have to try that, the tape.
Love this !! LOVE the two tone . When you placed that white flower is went * No put it on the blue side* then the text popped up and i giggled. Well done !! Hope you do more like this . Helps me also for when i do my own resincrete trinkest dish mold *when i finish henry * lol
Thank you Selene, when I watch my videos back, sometimes I have a lot of slap the forehead moments and that was one of them😂. I will definatly do more of these.❤🥰
Lovely ❤
The bubbles, I found you can fill them in with the eco redin you used. But I find it dries extra quick putting it onto the cured pieces. It's easier when you don't have colour too as getting exact colour is hard.
I use either my finger or a sponge to rub it is to the bubble holes 😊
Good to know thank you Katrina🥰❤
@@resinmeup welcome 🙂
I've had plenty and tried different things this has been best way I found so far x
WOWZERS!! These are beautiful! I’m just getting started with resin and I love watching how you explain everything and try new things. You’ll definitely be my go to for learning. My first resin experience was not so great when I tried to put resin on top of a paint pour that I did. I missed some spots and now I am still trying to figure out how to correct that without having to sand the whole thing, which scares the cricket out of me. Thank you so much for this video. I am a new subscriber for you.
Welcome to my channel, may I ask you your first name? I like to address everyone by their name vs their channel name, its a farm girl thing😂 Im happy you are here and I am also happy to answer any questions you may have, I been at this, well it will be 9 yrs in May. 🥰❤❤
Beautiful, very pretty ❤
Thank you Juls❤🥰
If you want to use micas and glitters, I'd mix up small amounts to do a first layer so you can see all that glitter & color you added more by adding it into less of the mixture and then do the rest of it after that's set. The really thin layer would have more glitter to mix ratio that way. It could save you from having to use so much glitter or, if you use the same amount of glitter, make it much more saturated.
Good point. I will remember that next time.🥰❤
I was screaming at the screen when you started putting the white flower sticker on the white! It turned out beautifully though
I know🤦🏻♀Haley, I don't have any idea what I was thinking, I was so upset with myself after. 😔 But thank you❤🥰
I make up a small amount of mixture and fill in the air bubbles using a cocktail stick. It works for me. Mix in a little bit of colour if you have to.
Awesome thanks for the tip, didnt think of that. Great idea. 🥰❤
These came out beautiful. ❤❤❤. Taking the backing off of those stickers is not easy. I wish they would improve that.
Thank you🥰❤ agreed
I think this turned out absolutely stunning. You never fail to bring such unique and stunning work. Great video, as always, and i hope you are well, Mary ❤❤
Thank you Donna, getting a video out everyday keeps me very, very busy with lots of planning ahead. But I love every minute of it.❤🥰
@@resinmeup most welcome. That's the best way ❤️
Very pretty - both the tray and the flowers.
Thank you Vicki❤🥰
Sandpaper and water for smoothing out the bubbles while they are still simi soft.
Ahhh, Thank you Jennifer🥰❤
If you stay on your blue mat, you will be on camera or mark a boundary with tape. I love your videos. ❤
Thank you Teresa. 🥰❤
Beautiful, thank you for sharing. Would you mind sharing a link for the flower mold?
Oh shoot did I forget that, Im sorry, I will go link it. Thank you Rosa🥰❤
Its linked now Rosa.
Thank you! ❤
Syliva Anne was worried that you might have forgotten. ❤😺 🐈Is it Syliva or Sylvia? Inquiring minds want to know.😃
Lol, its Sylvia. She knows exactly when its time. My oldest daughter is a Vet and she got her started on these wet treats called Churu and she loves them. 🥰❤
Lovely video. You may like to know that hindsight is spelt this way. Hind meaning after. It means if you had known beforehand. In hindsight.
Thank you🥰
I love your heat gun… what kind is it? Where did you find it?

I don't know if it works with Maggie pour, can I have put acrylic paint resin Crete and it colored it very well!
Are you asking if you can color Resin Crete with acrylic paint? If so, I'm assuming you can, I have never used that product before, but most of the eco resins are built the same and are water based as is acrylic paint. You could just mix a small amount and try it.
@@resinmeup I know you can and like you said all water based mediums can be colored by acrylic paint but be ware the paint is part of the liquid that is mixed with the powder, otherwise it will be too watery and may not cure correctly.
@@kehotto1 I don't add mine until its all mixed, and I always make sure my mix isn't watered down. But thank you. I understand now what you were trying to say😊
