Have you thought of making a base wide enough to have your characters fit through and then just getting a longer screw/bar for the middle? I like it but really want to see your characters on the wheel because it’s stuck in my big head and they would be so cute on there spinning 🥰

i ordered this mold from lets resin but your codes neither of them worked but i got it anyway cause its so cool

If you made the top layer of bubbles a lighter color like yellow. The made the lower level of bubbles and the green color. That would have made them stand out more.

Have you tried putting the mold into hot/boiling water to let it "remember" its shape?

Had a couple thoughts like maybe u could use some of the cellophane rainbow film under the lid & if u placed a tea light or even purple fairy lights in the cauldron, it will charge the glow pigment, give black light effect, plus illuminate the cellophane. My other thought was to use some of those little teeny tiny glass iridescent balls that come in different sizes & uv resin them on the bubbles? *Unrelated, please don’t think I’m being one of these people that tell u how to be an adult on ur video tutorials, that drives me crazy when people feel it’s okay to lecture what u “Do or Don’t Do” to protect urself when using resin🚫not @ all what I’m expressing. It’s more a question than anything. I have spoken with u in the past about ur daughter having lupus & the tattoo u have to raise awareness 4 our disease. One of the ways I 1st realized I had lupus was after a vacation to Ft. Myers Florida & while there I broke out in a rash all over my face, chest, arms & legs. Thought I got bit by sand fleas or some weird bug we don’t have in Pennsylvania🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyhow it wasn’t until 2 yrs later when I realized there was a pattern to it happening in the summer months b4 I went to see my Dr. The long & short of what I’m getting at is, I eventually found out that we’re sun sensitive/photosensitive. That the overhead lights in most stores/Dr’s office or commercial businesses use florescent bulbs, which emit UV rays & can cause flare ups. Yada yada, wear 100 SPF daily. I think that’s excessive, imo. So when watching u work with ur UV torch I was shocked how powerful the bulb is which instantly made me think about ur exposure to it after using it for 31 days of Halloween. I’m not sure if it’s ur daughter whom is a Veterinarian that has Lupus or not, but I am curious what her experience is with UV exposure & if she has any concerns about the UV lights/torches that all of us resin artist use regularly. I am hyper aware Cz I know what my own experience is when I over do it with any form of exposure, but that’s only my personal reaction. I only call awareness to it Cz I haven’t seen many resin artist speak about it & a majority of them don’t use protection when using the lights. I don’t want to see an entire community of incredible artist find out that they potentially put their health at risk. I hope this isn’t offensive or too personal, if it is, u can tell me to go pound sand & I won’t be offended😮😊 Truly I only want to bring awareness to the topic as all the lights are different watts & strengths & wether a person is photosensitive or not, we know that too much UVA or UVB light, can make anyone have potential health problems. I hope this finds u well & I think after ur Halloween extravaganza maybe u should take a well deserved respite so u don’t feel burned out, pun intended😂 Reward urself 4 the success of ur channel🎉

I thought you can add mica powder to the inside of lid before you poured to make them different colors or add accents. The lid may be made to just sit on but definitely they needed to make the mold for the pot, better!

Very nice cauldron. That’s too bad about the mold being off. ❤❤❤ Turned out great. Perhaps hit the bubbles with lighter yellow uv resin tiny drops on the green bubbles. Can you use have your heat gun to adjust & soften the top of the cauldron.

Distress the dented part that way it will have an aged look to it. Spooky 👻 can’t wait to see all of your finished project. May add some tentacles and thin worms around some of the bubbles and then some silver with a bit of white glow in the dark mixed in it

Mary use your heating gun and warm it up maybe that will help.

You could make a wash with water and a little black and brown paint. Paint it over the bubbles and wipe off most of it , just leaving some in the crevasses.❤

Add a battery powered tealight to the inside

Hi Mary, it's Chuck from Nevada. I bought the shadow boxes, but there is no way to insert the chess board. Did you take the box apart to install it, or am i missing something? I was thinking of taking one of the two I bought apart and making a mold of it. My wife wants to color match it with the board. I'm still a little dubious about how that would look, but it might look good. You don't know until you try, I guess. 😊 Anyway, going back to the subject, any help you could give for mounting in the shadow box would be appreciated! Thanks, Chuck

Maybe you could use a little white for shadowing on the bubbles to make them 'pop', so to speak hahah .... or I was thinking you could have put those eyes on all the bubbles like other resiners that make animals... a boiling cauldron of eyeballs lol... I still think it looks great.

Maybe with UV resin and some aurora powder highlight the bubbles. Not sure what it would do to the glow though?

That cauldron is brilliant. Maybe with some of the balls you could make them into eyes and have some veins coming off the back of them 🕸️☠️🦇👻🎃💜💜💜
