Garlic Linguine Pasta with Shrimp or Prawns

I shot this video near where I live in Mt Martha Australia, it's a beautiful reserve named The Briars full of birdlife and Australian native animals.
Linguine is a similar pasta to the fettuccine only narrower in width which originated in the Liguria region of Italy. This recipe is made with prawns or shrimps and is relatively quick to make. I used fresh or soft pasta, but you can also use dry, it will just take 10 minutes longer. Use lot's of parsley and don't skimp on the butter.

Not only are your recipes amazing the area where you live is beautiful. I hope you were spared from the horrific fires that have caused so much grief for Australia. I was born in Adelaide but have lived in America most of my life. Praying for Australia 🙏🏻🇦🇺🇺🇸
Thank you so much! Yes we were spared from those horrific fires, however the smoke pollution caused my wife to have a sinus infection which has developed into something quite serious now. She's been off work for 8 weeks. So indirectly we were still affected. Luckily the weather turned cool very quickly which helped a lot.
Joel, I’m so sorry to hear your wife is so ill but not surprised. I’m sure she has respiratory problems from all that smoke. I am recovering from a sinus infection myself so I sympathize. I pray her complications can be treated successfully. We enjoyed your chicken meatball recipe tonight it was wonderful with a side dish of asparagus. I keep trying your recipes and every one has turned brilliant. I have some really whopping Shrimps for this one. I use olive oil instead of butter though, having had two major heart attacks a couple of years back I avoid butter and cream. It doesn't change to the end result.

@@stevelogan5475 Oh really? I thought it was quite universal. It basically means "thank you" in a less and formal friendly way.
@@recipe30 it probably is universal on your side of the pond. The only time you really here it in the states is when you are tapping/clinking glasses wine/champaghn glasses together , when you are making a toast, like a celebration, wedding, etc...

you can substitute it with any kind of stoke..... veggie stoke, chicken or seafood
What can i use instead of white wine?
use your common sense and a bit of imagination
Perfect results ... But ... I did add some hydrated sun dried tomatoes along with the parsley.

Regular Australian butter which usually comes from grass fed cows.
