Capsule hotels are definitely good places to stay if you're on a budget. The hostels in Japan are also a great option as they are incredibly cheap compared to Europe.
In US and Europe it is called hostels. But western hostels are loud and dirty. OK for college backpackers, but not where you can quietly refresh and rejuvenate like these Japanese capsule hotels.
That was so delightful! I'm glad to see you made some healthy food choices. The food looked delicious, yum! What a nice hotel. I enjoyed the great video coverage of the hotel and also the street sights. I like it when you show a bit more of the streets of a new place so we feel not so cooped up in the hotel and get a flavor of the place. I must visit. I'm scared I wont be able to read bus stations, train tickets and such. A bit of a language barrier. Domo Arigato, Traveler-san!
I love it ‼️❤️ I wished America have a 9 hours sleeping pods hotel for separately from men and women privately . But I prefer bathroom and shower in the Pods more privacy.
I love how clean every place and thing is in Japan. I can’t sit in a plane for more than 3-4 hours. I’m claustrophobic so the smaller capsules might not be for me. I like the larger ones. I live that it’s quiet as well. A unique idea that can be used in the usa!
I'm surprised that the check out is simply just throwing your key card into a bin. Was there no need to scan out or anything? How would the hotel actually know you checked out?
I think the hotel does not need to know we checked out. They just uses QR code on the key card to know who are in the hotel and allow to enter the hotel.
And there's a time limit on the cards and room. So that hotel clerks and cleaning crews people live people preferably LOL 😂 to cleaning up the rooms and pods and bathroom and towels and replacing soaps and PJ sleeping clothes.
Everything is great other than the clear window for the pods. Where is the privacy?? I hope there is a feature I missed that can cover or darken the entry window. No way I would stay there unless you can cover that window. Weird
You have to rewatching the same video again and it shows he pulled down a privacy curtain door in the Sleeping Pod . As well as he walked in the hallway and observed each sleeping Pods has curtains doors closed up before he entered his own Pod at night and shoes were outside the door of the Pods .
Wow, the Japanese are so innovative. It is an amazing culture, if a little too conservative for my taste, but... really just amazing. What you imagine futuristic cities would look like. Why do we have nothing like it in North America. I live close to Vancouver and if you don't want to pay 3 or 4 or even 500 dollars (cnd) for even an average/high end place. Much more for luxuries. It is almost like the city is saying "if you aren't uber-rich, keep walking Jack." In Japan you can enjoy luxurious surroundings, immaculate cleanliness and outrageously opulent services. And the only thing really lacking is a huge space to sleep. Who really needs more than a capsule when the lights go out? I just love your videos, though I'd like narration. If your English is a problem have someone else do it or take a course. It would just be so much nicer to listen to your wonderful and witty comments and narration without having to read. I expect you have a lovely voice. ☺️ Anyway, you earned my Subscription and Likes and comments. I will likely even share these and who knows, keep up the good work and I may become a paid subscriber if you have that. You do very nice work. Thanks. I am now inspired to go to Japan.

I love the concept of capsule pods. Very Fifth Element, sci-fi vibes. 🚀
Simply wonderful. All cities and counties should have these channels on RUclips. So professional and informative
Your videos are so interesting and calming to watch! I’m glad I subscribed!
Another great video. I really like that you include visits to local restaurants. It's very interesting.
Would love to experience that😊

Awesomeness, thank you for this ❤️
$26 per night, wow, nothing like that in America
Definitely

The cleanliness and no ghettos crimes here in Japan...👍
They take pride in their work in Japan but in the US they could care less at hotels
Like living in Jacques Tati film, but where everything goes right!
In Germany, a hotel like this, will be clean after opening for 10 minutes. Then you have the first Tags on the walls or blood on the ground.

Experiencing Japan means experiencing the future.

Well I pretend to be an astronaut on board a spaceship 🚀 in those small Pods .
Love this. Quiet, relaxing…exciting.
Thank you.
👋-Oregon
Hello from another Oregonian 👍born and raised in oregon city, oregon
How safe are those pods if an earthquake were to happen while sleeping in one? I'm paranoid about being in small places during. Shivers!
The seismic strength of Japanese buildings is very high, and the possibility of collapse is extremely low because of the high level of technology.
@@experience_japan thanks you! Good to know.
😍
SHAR MIN AUNG...Tokyo....
At 6:55 you mentioned that you needed to pass through the front desk on the 9th floor before you can exit the building. Why?
I'm surprised that the check out is simply just throwing your key card into a bin. Was there no need to scan out or anything? How would the hotel actually know you checked out?
I think the hotel does not need to know we checked out. They just uses QR code on the key card to know who are in the hotel and allow to enter the hotel.
When they collect the cards from the bin, they see you have left. At a time on your last booked day, your card will not work again.
And there's a time limit on the cards and room. So that hotel clerks and cleaning crews people live people preferably LOL 😂 to cleaning up the rooms and pods and bathroom and towels and replacing soaps and PJ sleeping clothes.

These are nice, and the chance to get "REAL" japanese food sounds great BUT due to age n mobility I'd never be able to do the sleeping thing.
one question: isn't it a little claustrophobic?

So , no food dogs pets or smoking . Can you take a date In There lol
Hi what's your name ? 9H 🤪
In India 8$ per day😎😎
So like ok I'm interested but can like my wife and I bang in these things or would we need to be quiet?
I was asking the same question 😂😂😂
How is he paying with his phone?
$29 days Have Room Or Bed Going To Food Dinner Good Morning Day Pokmen Monster Yollw Black See Stays Hot Cube New Day Happy Every Joy Japan Too
How would nonbinary people stay in this capsule hotel? :0
unfortunately you'd just have to pick one (which would probably be unpleasant) or stay elsewhere
That is western culture, don’t insult Japanese culture with that please
@@pastrading have you heard of third gender, waria, fa'afafine, etc.
the video name is very cringe
I think price are fake
