My husband thought I was watching a video game stream because of the first person camera style 😂 I told him it’s a nice way to make the viewer feel part of the travels. And I love the captions so that almost every country can experience their own language. These are great videos and so helpful for those needing to learn the manners for Japan.
I'm always so impressed on how things are so economical and thoughtful in Japan. Unfortunately we can't have nice things like this in US people are way too selfish here and can't respect communal spaces. Any place this cheap will surely just be dirty and ratty. You'd be better off in a sleeping bag outside🙃
I live in Alabama, USA. I’d never have the courage to travel to a foreign country. I watch your videos and imagine being there❤️ I can almost taste the food you eat🤣 Japan is so clean and well maintained❤️
@@Macsrus5 I see. The Language barrier isn't that bad in the City area's like Tokyo and Osaka. There's a lot of foreign staff nowadays working. The hotel I stayed at in Tokyo, the staff spoke almost fluent English. Well I do hope you travel sometime soon, because yen is really cheap now against USD. I went to a public onsen and the entire set cost me around 20 -30 $. It came with sauna, lounge room with massage chairs and relax, meal set. Some of the restaurant places I ate at cost me like 5$ -10$.
I'm Native American, and I have never wanted to travel outside of the Americas. But watching your videos, I would really love to visit Japan. I watch your videos every night. I hope you make more.
I'm a Japanese and living in Tokyo, but your video make me discover the new nice capsule hotel in Tokyo! I will reccomend this hotel to my friends living far from Tokyo. Tonkatsu is my favorite food. you can find kinds of tonkatsu in Japan, i.e. tonkatsu-bowl (katsudon), tare-katsu, miso-katsu, nikomi-katsu, tonkatsu-bowl with curry or beef, etc. There are local katsu cuisine here and there in Japan. Enjoy!
I’ve been in Japan 5 years ago during a heatwave, trains were not functioning well but everybody was so nice, they gave fans and refreshments to my daughter. The food was delicious too, I can find some katsu were I live in Australia but nothing compare with the genuine stuff in Japan. Thanks for your videos, watching them make me nostalgic from that wonderful holiday I had there and make me want to come back ! I would be interested to see some of your travel logs outside of Japan too, I like your quirky comments and different perspective, keep up the good work ! Gui

Your videos are wonderful. They are relaxing and exciting to me at the same time. Please keep up the good work. I love your exploration and explanation of the sites and sounds of Japan.
I like your quiet and relaxing videos. At the same time, you do have some noise so the person watching doesn't think they've gone completely deaf. I thought you were just someone who had to travel a lot, maybe for work. If not, I'd like to see zoos, parks, public events like festivals, and other sights like the shrines. Everything is so clean and well kept. It's amazing that people are so respectful and honest that you can literally use a curtain instead of thick doors on hotel rooms.
Thank you so much! I'm thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the content. I aim to showcase the diverse and beautiful aspects of Japan. Stay tuned for more adventures! 🇯🇵✨

2:12 - These are Noh masks from Japanese theater. A Zen way to symbolize Japan. Lovely. Bike rental at US$0.10 per minute comes to $48 for an 8 hr day, all day. That is if you use it for 8 hrs, and cheaper if you only use it here and there. Not bad at all. Great to know this bike is available for easy riding around. What a fabulous and inexpensive hotel! I am absolutely going to visit. I went to Tokyo with a group once and it was all luxury hotels, and huge buffets and no time to explore. I hated that. I like tiny places, and love the amenities here. So much cheaper and more fun. Thank you for showing us what you eat and what the local food is, prices, etc. This is very useful! Q1 - I wonder if you could also show the local handicrafts for sale in these bazars. For example, at the temples they sell wonderful incense sticks, in small open markets they sell wonderful handmade pottery, and its nice to know these handicrafts are sill being made and what type of things you see in markets. Q2 - The Metro in Japan is very scary because nothing was in English when I visited years ago. How does the subway system work? How does a tourist find their way? The trains are so beautiful there, but I am so afraid to get lost and not speak Japanese. Q3 - What film editing software do you use? I'd love to know. I need to make some videos but have no knowledge. Your series is amazing. The lack of talking, no music, and just the Zen of natural sounds is very soothing and the best way to showcase travel. Domo arigato! Greetings from Silicon Valley, California!
If you'd like a program with many functionalities, but free, i'd try Da Vinci Resolve for editing videos. Had no knowledge with editing video's, after some researching now I can edit/combine clips, add/edit music, add title screens, put slomo's in, audio/video transitions, make overlays, track objects in a clip etc.
@@Mirula Thank you! That was very useful. I hope my laptop has enough RAM and speed to use this. The pro version is $265, a lot cheaper than pricey Adobe tools, or what Apple's Final Cut was priced at years ago at $1000! Also, it is not a subscription, but a one time fee, so that is very appealing. Thanks a lot!!!
Thanks for the detailed feedback! 🙏 I'll definitely consider showcasing local handicrafts in future videos. Love the idea! The Metro has improved its English signage recently, but I'll think about making a guide for tourists! I use final cut pro for editing. Super intuitive and great for beginners! Really appreciate your support. Cheers from Japan! 🇯🇵

I'll definitely consider showcasing local handicrafts in future videos. Love the idea!
The Metro has improved its English signage recently, but I'll think about making a guide for tourists!
I use final cut pro for editing. Super intuitive and great for beginners!
Really appreciate your support. Cheers from Japan! 🇯🇵
@@mjremy2605 Just check out the free version first, I've never needed the pro options!
I have been enjoying your channel very much! I watch on my Roku so I'm usually not able to comment but I wanted to come on and leave a note. Thank you for the wonderful videos you're making! It is so calming and very interesting to watch the immersive travel reviews you're doing. I really enjoy seeing all of the nooks and crannies of the transit, hotels, and restaurants you visit! I love your videos!! You bring us right along with you. Here in NY tonkatsu is popular 😊
Awesome! Thank you!
Tonkotsu isn't popular here, but there is a ramen shop that I have been to that served tonkotsu. Everything from that place is amazing.
That's great to hear! A good tonkotsu ramen can be a game-changer. I'm glad you found a spot that serves amazing food! 😊🍜
Oh you reminded me! I need to catch up on Baki!
Damn I wish I stayed here when I was at Asakusa last Feb. Tonkatsu is one of my favorite dishes from Japan.
You make very good videos
Baki hanma, good taste. Can you ask long stay prices if they have.
Yay!
Yes Japan is very popular in the west and also Korea. I laughed at the word yummers😂. I loved the pod but I wouldn't feel comfortable without a door, sorry. The last of the video the beautiful women dressed up was gorgeous. As always Thank you for the video can't wait until the next. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great to see another Baki fan also.
