Beyond worth the price of the stay alone, plus the prices of the food. 👌🏼 Edit: I do hate that they associate tattoos with negativity, since I have a lot on my arms… I really hope I wouldn’t be looked at or judged too harshly because of them.
Expensive breakfast (CDN19 approx) and I wouldn't be allowed to bathe because I have one tattoo that would be too large to cover. The room wasn't the cheapest one you featured but it was nice enough. The building didn't seem to have any soul to it. Maybe I was just put off by there not being any private showers or bathing areas.
Another excellent video! I really love how you take us on the whole trip from where the hotel is in relation the train station, and all you show you do between checking in and checking out!
Although you said the price was expensive for a capsule hotel, the company did provide a lot of amenities. Very nice! Thank you very much for sharing the video, I found it very interesting. I live in southeastern USA.
dude i love your 4k videos sm, it literally feels like im being at ur place and i can even enjoy these moments being out of station especially no the no voiceover thingy, love from indian brother ❤🎉
omg I'm so glad you named each thing you ate!! I couldn't recognize all of it when you were serving it and got sad about it and then you named them, :DDD. I think that even though the price could feel a bit high for a "room without lock" for new people with capsule hotels; the respectful culture and that AMAZING and indeed luxurious breakfast looked like it should've been even more expensive! definitely worth it and balanced!! beautiful food! thank you for sharing it
I liked the capsule you stayed at near temples and you had free coffee, tea, foot baths, and it seemed many more extras for less money.....and you were still in the middle of the action
The price was not too bad considering all those lovely free amenities 😃 Japan is so clean! The hotels, and even the streets are clean and tidy. Here in England litter (trash) on the street is a real problem 🤢 Thank you for making the video! 😃
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦. I do wish to thank you for the educational fact about the Night Ramen. It makes sense to me since there are a lot of hard working and busy workers in Japan. I also wish to thank you for the tip of tattoos for businesses. I have to call myself out to admit that I do have a tattoo and I shall keep in mind about companies comfort due to the tattoo reasoning.
Randomly from the RUclips feed I saw the video of several Vending machines(btw if you haven’t do watch it’s so calming😅) after that It’s become a habit to watch one of your videos while having food or break from work so satisfying feeling, plus English subtitles to understand💯 ,no unnecessary talks or prolonging, such good shots n camera placements🤍…. Keep up the good Work @Experience JAPAN💜
I actually feel like the Container Hotel had more space and was cheaper big time! All the best! Live your travels and thanks for sharing to an American!👍🏻🤗🇺🇸
The whole capsule hotel phenomenon fascinates me. I'd love to try one out sometime. It'd be cool if we had some here in Canada. :D I have to say that I really like your sense of humour. It's funny without you trying too hard. :)
I’m gonna take the time being at 5:55 as confirmation that I do indeed need to travel to Japan. I just picked the language back up tonight lol so it only seems fitting.
I love the rooms, they look really good and not too bad in price. The Ramon looked nice. I noticed you picked up your bowl at the end to drink the remaining soup, is that normal etiquette in Japan? I love that. I was a chef for a while, but now only cook for friends and family, I love the sound of soups or noodles being slurped, or someone picking up the bowl to get the last bit. Makes me feel like my food was enjoyed, but was taught when I was younger that doing that in a restaurant was considered rude.
In the Western world, it is indeed considered rude, but in a lot of Asian cultures, slurping is a sign of enjoyment, and can even be considered good luck in some cases.
These are terrific, so interesting. The Japanese way of travel is so different than what I am used to, but it looks very comfortable. If you get a chance to visit cultural or historical sites, or smaller local restaurants or cafes, that would also be very welcomed.
I entirely, enjoyed this video. To be honest, I thought the price was excellent, and adding a lot of what they did, that was a nice bonus. I'm in the USA, we would never see such hospitality here. Also, the Manga, I'll need to check that out. Lastly, thank you for teaching us about the tattoos, I had no idea.
What a cool space! A shame your backpack couldn't fit in the safe. Those pajamas looked incredibly comfy! I also love the little jokes you make throughout the video. Thank you for sharing this with us!
While it is more expensive than other capsule hotels. It was worth the price. American hotels could learn a lot from places like this. The massage chair looked very comfortable. And the food looked delicious.
I came across your channel today. I am hungry looking at all the food. 😁 It looks yummm!!! Please make a video related to how solo travellers can backpack Japan on a budget. That would be indeed helpful! Hope to backpack Japan some day! Greetings from India! 🙏
Excellent my friend I just love it omg we're can I find a friend like you love to eat and drink love carnivals or whatever they call them in Japan I love your adventures
Hello. You probably won't see this, but I wanted to make a quick comment as I have recently found your videos. I have to say that I love watching them! They have shown me a lot and have given me some considerations for when I come and visit! That Being said, would you say that Quintessa Hotel is a bit better value than Dormy Inn? With Dormy you get a room with no lock and no private bathroom. However, at Quintessa you get a pretty nice room with a lock and a bathroom. I suppose at the end of the day the price point between each is about $11 or about 1600 Yen difference, so not that big really. Just wondering which you might feel is a better value!
Well, I'd never be able to bathe there with my large tattoo on my left forearm and more on the back of my neck and on my back. I was curious to know how much it costs to do laundry there; that's something I like about some capsule hotels. Also, besides the price of the room on the high side, I couldn't justify paying almost CDN$19.00 for breakfast, even though it looked amazing. I know tattoos are becoming more accepted now, but I feel bad for tourists who are looking to visit an onsen, only to find they've been discriminated against. I realise that tattoos have a darker meaning associated with them, but honestly I think that would be my biggest beef against Japanese customs and traditions. Also, my Son who will be paying my way when we do go to Japan will probably be a bit irritated with me because he has no tattoos and can freely visit any onsen. He's now got to take his old Mom into consideration when booking our accommodations. The tables have definitely turned 😂
I can tell you that buffet looked pretty fresh, and tasty, great video! EDIT: IF its buffet can you keep eating as much as you want? Then its worth the 20ish Dollars (AUD)
すべての部屋は 1 人用でしたか?あなたが寝ていたものの下に別の二段ベッドのように見えましたか、それともただの収納スペースでしたか、それとも何もありませんでしたか? Was every room intended for just one person? It looked like another bunk bed under the one you slept in or was that just storage space or just nothing?
Im quite curious abt something as it's not a part of my culture, maybe someone Japanese can answer for me?? So in the open shower area, is there some place to undress 1st and leave your clothing/towel? Is ther multiple shower heads along the wall just no stall? Or how do many people share the water in that space? Once you finish do you have a private space to dry off and change? Is it acceptable to leave that room in a robe and go back to room? Or to wear your Pajamas to the lounge room after a bath? Any answers? Haha its realllllt different from my culture so I cant even imagine the answer
Many public bathhouses will not allow admission. Using the shower rooms in hotel rooms, for example, is not a problem. Unfortunately, there are only a few places that speak English, but many Japanese are kind enough to use gestures and Google translations to help you.
mr. anonymous poster here, pls i would appreciate your input of your cool watch with that funny faces and that time, what name does this watch has ????????????? maybe i will buy myself this cool watch .
So if you're a foreigner with full sleeve tattoos for example, how are you meant to clean yourself if it's only got public bath? Obviously you would have to avoid this hotel?
Here un singapore. Anything free. People will Q till long lines. Irrigardless how small or lame it is. And if no one watching. Some of them will use bags to fill!
we couldn't do the honor system here in america, because so few people here have any honor 🤣 even something like capsule hotels could not exist here because people would not be willing to share space, or be clean and quiet for the other guests... our cities also don't like to have places to stay for cheap because they would be filled with homeless people and nobody wants to help the homeless... we are really a cruel and heartless nation with a lot of inconsiderate and unintelligent citizens. japan is a model society compared to us.
yyyaaaaa... im sorry but the woman i would be visiting this place with has a lot of tattoos and I don't think she would be ok with having to cover up....
What are your thoughts on the price for this stay?
Are you focused in this quality view if thinks? Thats fealkey authentic
😊😊😊
I would be ok with the price if they had locks on the doors and were ok with tattoos .
no lock door is the big point..
Beyond worth the price of the stay alone, plus the prices of the food. 👌🏼
Edit: I do hate that they associate tattoos with negativity, since I have a lot on my arms… I really hope I wouldn’t be looked at or judged too harshly because of them.

I like the style and the ambiance in this hotel. It seems relaxing.
I want to see the most luxurious capsule hotel Japan has to offer
This hotel is so nice✨
While it is more expensive than other capsule hotels. It was worth the price. American hotels could learn a lot from places like this. The massage chair looked very comfortable. And the food looked delicious.
Oh yeah I forgot to add that this place has incredible wifi speed. I get that type of speed in my place wired.
thats awesome thank u❤
Your cities are so clean. I’m in Detroit and would love to live in Japan🙂
Bed looks cosy. That guy st the end seemed like his shoes hurt😅
The tattoo fact is quite funny, a large part of population here in Europe should cover their whole bodies lol

11:13 I like this part being greatful
Nice house and good food and good journey
Planning a 2 week trip in April 2025 and definitely want to try staying at one these capsule motels.
i loved the video i had to sub
Would not like sleeping up high climbing on the ladder. Great video. Thx.😊

5:22 we can see and I can for sure say, he is human
... i have decided on a hotel but now this seems very enticing..
One thing they are gonna do is eat. I wish to eat anything that I desired like you!
What was the water for? I mean in the capsule.
Do you have put your own dishes away or does the restaurant staff do it for you at the pork cutlet restaurant?
We have to put our dishes away by ourself
3:29 yea we know what's that for...

Why would they have emergency water in the rooms? Does it have anything to do with the seismic activity?
I think it's water for a fire.
@@experience_japan That is what I thought and was going to comment on lol
@@experience_japan I would think they would have fire extinguishers like we do here in the US.
So... Is the breakfast free in the end? Or was the price for people who aren't staying in the hotel?
I love the lack of dialogue in your videos. Makes for a more peaceful viewing experience.
Wow I wouldn't be able to get clean in a public bath in Japan as I'm covered head to toe in tattoos 😂😂 (I'm from the UK).
Are you able to lock your pods? Or can anyone just walk in?
Okay, first off, they were playing an absolute bop at that carnival 🎡 place lol it took me back!
Do you have any recommendations for hotels that let guests with lots of tattoos to use the facilities?
07:03 for anyone whos job requires random drug testing, dont drink "Chill Out" It has hemp extract lmao
I have a question I have tattoos am I gonna have problems with Ibsen or baths? And do most of these places talk english
Many public bathhouses will not allow admission. Using the shower rooms in hotel rooms, for example, is not a problem. Unfortunately, there are only a few places that speak English, but many Japanese are kind enough to use gestures and Google translations to help you.
Why did the name of the channel change?
I didnt
i thought the tatto thing was from older times and not now
today tattoes is much more commen
In Japan, it is not.
mr. anonymous poster here, pls i would appreciate your input of your cool watch with that funny faces and that time, what name does this watch has ????????????? maybe i will buy myself this cool watch .
it’s an Apple Watch ⌚️
So if you're a foreigner with full sleeve tattoos for example, how are you meant to clean yourself if it's only got public bath?

My trust issue wouldn’t let me sleep without a lock
🇭🇺🇭🇺🇭🇺🇭🇺🇭🇺🇭🇺👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😘😘😘😘😘
Why is there a jug of water under your desk and next to toilet?
I think for fire
Its crazy to me hkw cheap the meals are watching in these videos we have similar menu items here and they cost at least 10 dollars pr mlre per meal
Dormy inn Tokyo =7300 yen
Here un singapore. Anything free. People will Q till long lines. Irrigardless how small or lame it is.

Are there any Capsule Hotels that allow pets or children?..and are there capsule hotels that have cats living there full time!?
