- I rode in a deluxe room on the Sunrise Express sleeper train this time.
It is about a 12-hour trip from Tokyo to Izumo in Shimane Prefecture.
The deluxe room was very comfortable, and I was able to see beautiful Japanese scenery from the train window. Since it was the cherry blossom season, I was also able to enjoy cherry blossoms from the window.

Its so hard to choose!..
I'd love to stay in one of those expensive ones, but I'd be happy with any accommodation, except nobi nobi. But I would NEVER eat beef tongue!
Would go for Single, although there is Twin, which is perfect for two people

Although it's an old train... This is probably the only regularly operating train with single rooms in Japan... Others are just travel package. I have not get any chance to visit JP again for almost 10 years. The last time I took Cassiopeia, in the Cassiopeia Suite. I really miss those times. Hope I can go back there soon and try Sunrise🥰

I see online other countries with thier Street food, we just don't have that here in England.

@@Tokyo_Rose. Ahhh, those hot dog carts are usually more found in the cities, say Newark, Atlantic City, The BRonx near Yankee Staduim, or places where it's mostly a city place. Over here where I live in a suburb, there aren't any food carts, but there's plenty of restaurants and shops to go to, and a lot of medical places as well.
@@SuperFlashDriver Yes we see them on TV, as you say in cities. If you want a hot dog here you would have to search high and low!
We have takeaway shops, it's usually pizza/kebabs or Chinese food. I love Indian takeaway best.

Great trip, and yeah finally you try Sunrise Express again, this time on deluxe cabin to Izumoshi. Staying in Deluxe has privilege for accessing dedicated on board shower, since on amenity kit includes shower card.

FIY, a "budget" ticket for a German Train, traveling from Bremen to Munich costs roughly the same, and the travel time is also roughly the same... but in a cramped, uncomfortable seat!
