I've just left the Nine Hours Akasaka location after staying for a week, and it was very very nice. The toilets and showers are very clean. Would definitely recommend for any solo travelers who want to keep a tighter budget!
@@makiwonka6550 Both, actually! They ask that you "check out" each morning by 10:00 AM so that they can clean, but you can leave your bags in the lockers and you keep the same locker number/pod number for the duration of your stay. You can also hang out in the lobby 24/7 regardless of whether they're cleaning or not. At the Akasaka location, the "you can't be here" times were 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Hey, my luggage is right on the limit of the bullet trains at 180 total, and I was worried as i'd seen that the storage here isn't big enough for a suitcase, so i'm debating whether i buy new luggage or work around storage lockers, however, they look a fair size, i'd just be slightly concerned with the width. Would they take a 80cm high suitcase that's 30cm wide do you think?
The website lists it as 33.5 cm wide, 56 cm deep, and 206 cm high (with a movable shelf at 90 cm from the bottom). Luggage that does not fit in the lockers can be left at the front desk.
@@worldjapantravels4796 Oh perfect, thank you. I tried to find the relevant info on a website, but couldn't track it down for some reason, i just seemed to get bounce between trip advisory sites for other 9hrs in Tokyo. I think i'll risk it then as the rest of my party are travelling light, and we're bound to buy loads of stuff. We've got Ryokans and hotels for the rest of the nights, so hopefully we're good, we just really wanted to experience a capsule too.
Very informative and useful for my trip in June! Thanks for providing every details of the capsule hotel! May i know will it be difficult for a 185cm person to sleep in?
I loved staying there. Clean and comfortable.

Hi! did you had to do a check out/check in every day? or can you stay in the same capsule?
