Congratulations on the 2nd anniversary and thank you for showing the best of Japan. Your video has become my personal guide as what to do when I visit Japan end of this month...arigato❤
I've probably said this before but I really love these videos. I enjoy watching people go about their lives, walking down the street, hurrying to work and whatnot. I also love your sense of humor, and seeing the restaurants (and the food!). I'll never get over how incredibly clean everything seems to be in Japan. Littering is not overly rampant where I live, but the difference is still striking. Thank you for providing these clips with audio but no audio commentary. I would of course love to see and hear more about you, but my line of work has to do with helping people by talking to them, and I love being able to watch and enjoy these mini "trips" without the feeling that I'm being actively engaged. It's not only soothing, but allows me to choose where I direct my attention - the buildings, lights in the windows, wondering what kind of lives people have and what they're doing, where they're going. Love it. Sorry for the ramble, and thanks! 🙏
"we live in a society" ----I waited for you to finish your thought... but you did! Yes, we do, and I thank you for letting me into yours! this was a wonderful slice of Tokyo, and delicious! 💜✌🤟
This was so interesting. Two sports events that I wouldn't have considered attending but they would be great for the atmosphere, especially the baseball. Interesting that the capsule hotel makes you check out every day, but totally understandable to keep it clean and to keep the costs down. The food, obviously, was a highlight.
Seeing you uploaded just made my day!! Haven't even watched the video yet and already know I will love it. This is one of my favorite youtube channels. 😊
this is seriously one of my favorite channels- the commentary/narration, videography, experiences, and recommendations are just simply wonderful! i’ve visited japan once but i’m going back next year for an internship, so i am excited to add new places to check out during my time (*^^*) please continue to post many more vlogs! ☆
I stayed in Nine Hours Otemachi for 1 night, I wanted to get the Capsule Hotel experience before going to a regular hotel. It was really nice & the capsule was quite large & spacious, even for me, a big American. 10/10
Appreciate you so much! Humor, silent perspective, and especially this episode. I really enjoy those capsule hotels for so many reasons. Looking forward to our next trip in March.
I’m so glad I found your channel, your videos feel like ASMR content and they’re so comforting to watch. Plus, I love Japan and am dying to visit one day so watching your videos makes me feel like I’m living vicariously through you 😂
I loved the visit to the Tokyo Dome !!! Very amusing !!! Tks for sharing, Regards from Sao Paulo/BR PS. AND A HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR THE SECOND ANNIVERSARY !
I've been watching your videos lately and I noticed that you're always thanking someone for the food. You have great customs, Solo-San! As a latina it makes me rethink mine. Thank you for showing us these wonderful adventures! ❤

You have wonderful humor. I love reading your comments, it cheers me up. Congratulations to your channel on its anniversary. You are opening up a new Japan to us. It's a pleasure to travel with your company on RUclips. I hope someday I will be able to travel around Japan. With love from Ukraine
Loved this! Everything you text/say, it’s like I’m saying same thing in my head. This made me laugh. This is nice and peaceful. Fun watching all the food delicacies that you try! My new favorite channel
I'm always at awe how you finished the food and still want more. I don't think I could eat that many. Anyway, thank you for all the amazing humorous trips. Stay safe.
Oh! I stayed in one branch in Tokyo and it was quite a unique experience. It was kinda unnerving how extremely quiet the entire place is. It was so quiet I could hear every person's footsteps, trying to climb the ladders, etc. I had quite a good sleep but my only issue is that it got quite hot for me in my capsule so I woke up a bit damp and sweaty, other than that it was a nice sleep uwu
I live in San Jose, California. It's always a good day when the Giants win. So it is the Tokyo Giants, it's the comradary that The Giants Win! I'm glad your soccer team won as well. And all that food looked so good. Shame the onigiri place was too busy, I would have loved to see how that worked. I've only gotten the pre-made at my local Japanese market. Another excuse to do a food story. Again, thank you for taking us along.
ARIGATO @Solo Solo, your travels, to watch, are a delight. Not only are you informative, you are also very witty and funny too.. I am really enjoying, by proxy, my travels by your side.. CONGRATULATIONS too, on your 2 year anniversary of the channel. Heartiest best wishes from Wales. :D :D
I’m so hungry watching this. The pancakes looked incredible and now I want to go to Tokyo for a food tour. Even the 7 Eleven rice balls looked great, lol. Thanks for the video!
The food is so inexpensive there! Im jealous lol In most of the USA, even going up to a gas station to get a(n often extremely unappetizing) tiny sandwich with almost nothing in it will run you about $7 (¥1,000) or so. A meal at a seated restaurant generally runs about $20 (¥3,000) per person, but if its a meal that includes fish, you can easily expect a bill of $40 (¥6,000) per person. There's an expected minimum 15% tip on top of this, as well as tax, so it ends up being even more. The last time I had a meal at a ramen shop here, the base cost before gratuity for two people - 2 bowls, 2 bottles of ramune, a small basket of edamame - came out to $65 (¥9,700). I also found out recently that we do, indeed, have capsule hotels in some locations. The cost of the ones I've seen, though? Oh my god. They're about $80 (¥12,000) per night. I'm not sure what wages look like in Japan, but our federal minimum wage is still $7.25 (¥1,085) per hour, so it can be very unaffordable here if you live in an area where you can't get well-paying job.
I have never eaten at a place where you have to cook your own food on a little grill like that. I love how clean the streets are in Tokyo. Thanks for uploading this video it was interesting to watch.
Thank you for this video! I am traveling to Japan (Tokyo) for the first time. I'm arriving by cruise ship and I have five days to enjoy the city of Tokyo and maybe another. I'll be the tall, confused man over in the corner.
As always your videos are so interesting and entertaining 👍😀. A baseball game every day, attended by 50,000 people (!) - what a surprising fact! The game you attended was fun to watch. What is the significance of the little umbrellas that fans hold up during the game? 🤔
43:43 I see what you did there - Rukawa? Basketball? Slam Dunk? 🤣 Puns aside, I enjoyed this very much, very informative, delightfully snarky quips but entertaining. thank you and congratulations on your 2 years, cheers to more travels ☺
I stayed at a '9 Hours' in Kyoto. It's very nice, but my only negative is that they kick you out between 10 and 2pm. I understand some backpackers travel fast, and get up very early, but I work online, so I always had a lot of time, and didn't need to rush. (for example, I was in kyoto, for a month, tokyo, for a month, and osaka for a month) I wish 9 hours had a floor where they did not kick you out. lol Sometimes, as a slow backpacker, I just want to lay in bed and read a book - without having to go to a cafe or something. Other than this, it was very nice, and clean, and pretty fun, and futuristic! It's like sleeping in the movie, "2001: A Space Odessy" If you are an early riser, and get up early, I recommend 9 hours a lot. But if you're a laid back traveller, you might want to go somewhere else.
these videos are so comforting and relaxing , i’m going to visit japan one day and eat all i want just like you 😂😂 them pancakes looked good but your right it’s like you’ll be still hungry
Thank you for the wonderful video, I love sharing in your trips. Just a note, there is a Kura Sushi restaurant in Seattle, Washington. Other than everything written in English, it is exactly the same from the restaurant sign to the conveyor belt and dishes and plates. Edit: I just looked the restaurant up on-line and there are 59 restaurants across the United States with another 8 coming soon. I just hope one opens in Salt Lake City Utah as that is closer to where I live.

Oh my goodness! I end up commenting too soon in the video and realizing later the saw so much more and had a blast!! Loved this so,much! Huge baseball and football fan!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Seems ;like you had exciting time looking for restaurants and had some good food. Glad you enjoyed the rounders game and the excitement of the football game 🎉😊😮
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 Congratulations. No left overs. You do know the resources and the time spent for this food to be on your table. Food is sacred because gives you life and water is more precious than all gold and diamonds present on this world because without water, there are no food or life. Treat what gives life with respect. You are got A+ towards food.🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Congrats! I love watching this channel! I like how you give details of times and distances. Where you are and scenery. I also like your sarcasm. Makes me smile a lot. How can you eat so much in one sitting? I like seeing the different foods

Some very interesting places. Thank you for sharing!
listening to "Ghostbusters" playing in the background at that restaurant was so nostalgic. 😂
Enjoyed the food trip experience! “Onigiri-less people” was my fav phrase in this video 😂
Nice video again from solo-san. You must be so happy to eat and watch sports like that. It feels like a holiday 🎉
I love that Journey was playing in the background of the BBQ place
I heard Ghostbusters, Eye of the Tiger, and Smells like Teen Spirit in there as well.
Congrats! I love watching this channel! I like how you give details of times and distances. Where you are and scenery. I also like your sarcasm. Makes me smile a lot. How can you eat so much in one sitting? I like seeing the different foods
I love this series from your channel. Small recommendation if I go to Japan. Nice ❤
