こんにちは、ありがとうございます! I am so enjoying your travels - your eccentric passion for vending machines is singular and very cool. ; ) The videography is wonderful; this morning - at sea, the squalls and sunrise were so serene. It is also so restoring to see how respectful and kind the Japanese public appear where you go - something which does not seem to have changed much over the decades. Best wishes to you, and thanks again for your great videos. 💜⭐💯🎸🔮✨🌛

16hrs seems like a long time for a ferry within the same country. I wish I was young and fit enough to do the same thing. I’d probably spend more time confused by the language and in tears :) I’m so impressed by the cleanliness of all stages of the trip, the uk is shameful to somebody brought up to respect other citizens. Capsule hotels is SE Asia worry me as I’m 175cm tall. Do they cater for tall people? Lots of the videos show slippers or clothing, I imagine none of them cater for bigger westerners.

    • @off-to-japan
      @off-to-japan  9 месяцев назад +4

16 hours ferry trip is pretty good for me because I can sleep enough time, enjoy meals and chill out. It's enough big for 175cm to stay at capsule hotels in Asia because I am also 176 cm tall. Don't worry, they cater tall people. Actually many European travel to Asian countries!

Well I was running out of STJ vids to watch so thought I'd try OTJ too lol n surprise surprise guess who? lol
I remember this vid very well but the STJ one must have got edited by the wee fairy/elf folk lol (the cobbler and the elves story) but they must not do beds tho such a pity cos you still can't make a bed 😂
Love you to bits you make me laugh you've got a sense of humour like me.
Oh btw was talking about you telling pals about your videos now they're following you.
We were sitting on the Dunoon hotel balcony watching big cruise liner on the Firth of Clyde, you see them all the time from the hotel even my room window we go there a lot every month it's cheap lol anyway watching a big cruise ship going past at the time cos hotel right on the promenade and I was nosy so googled that one omg you'd have had a flakey £2029 for a cruise boarding at Southampton then round the British Isles but you could actually do the Mediterranean, Aegean or Caribbean cruises for cheaper.
Told you before if I could stay on one of your ferries for a week or the longest 40 hour ones to and back I'd be a happy bunny.
Lots of your ferries are like luxury cruise liners and actually better than some of the Japanese cruises especially the MSC Bellissima lol.
As for Azalea aye I like that one, still think it's better having a private cabin tho cos far too busy and a capsule bunk right at the entrance door no so good.
I don't like busy noisy either.
I went on the Waverley again and half full this time but still too busy for me maximum capacity 700 peeps I think far too many tho like sardines in a can.
Anyway, I look forward to your next video take care xx

Thanks for watching our channel after STJ's. I appreciate it very much.
I'm not good at making bank beds.
Thanks for talking about our channel. Our channel has a lot of longer videos than the other channels, don't you get bored?
I bet it would be fun to spend a week on a ferry going around Japan...is the 40-hour ferry the one between Nagoya and Hokkaido? I've never been on the one, and I'm hoping to get on one soon.
I'd love to stay in a private room, but I'm on a budget, so I usually stay in a capsule room. I'd like to get enough subscribers to stay in a private cabin.
I do get fed up with too many passengers on the ferry during major holidays.
The following is a video of the overnight ferry from Korea to Osaka, so please check it out!

Good question for you. Does this ferry and the bullet train gold seats offer a wheelchair accomodations? Asking for myself. Japan is my ultimate bucket list trip and I want to maximize the first class treatment just one trip before I die. Looks like the doctors gave me a 10 year life span from January 2024 if I do not get on the liver donation list. So, even though I still can maintain some standing and walking function, the doctors still want me to be 95% confined to wheelchair to maximize less stress on heart so I can go into surgery no problem. Any info would help very much. Wakari mas ka.fimo arigato in advance.

@@off-to-japan OI!! Sugoi.wakari mas. I am even learning how to speak, Japanese as well as how to read and write in common kani. I am even learning a lot of the social graces for both public and at home idioscycancies. All thanks to a butt load of slice of life anime, RUclips what not to do/ what to do videos including how to dine, giving and receiving papers, the whole nine yards. My husband is likewise doing the same things. We even have 8 foreign language apps to help the process. Not to appropriate the culture, but to show the proper respect to the country that is gracious enough to host us. My great-grandmother taught me to be grateful enough to the foreign lands by learning the customs and languages in return to show respect. Domo arigato for the information. I will indeed look into them ( the train company and the ferry company). I really look forward to visit Studio IG, Studio Ghibli, and Toei Animation. Maybe a little trip to Sanrio for all that kawaii merchandise. I am also eager to know what tayaki is and to actually try one. And do they come in a bread shell shaped like a fish? My deepest apologies for this long reply. Just exited about going.
