    This is absolutely gorgeous - playing - singing - interpretation - audio quality - and most of all ...... what an inspiring piece... wow.

    I believe the alto is Ingeborg Danz. I've performed in the chorus of several Bach works in which she was the alto soloist; we were all mesmerized by every minute of her singing. What an artist.

    You can keep your other composers. Just 3 minutes of Bach surpasses all the rest. And what a stunning rendition from Herreweghe! Stunning!
