1:37 - I used to dodge away from where he ends up levitating on. In Phase 2, I figured that the following holy bombardment doesn't have good tracking in close range. The dodge in the vid is a fluke, I just panic rolled, but it showed me that I end up beside his body, rather than the sword. That third/last slash down should've roll-caught me, but he whiffed. Next, I need to NOT get too excited after the dodge and remember the follow up AoE.
I'm getting used to Phase 1, getting more no-hits on my way to Phase 2. What I started doing was keeping an eye on the "empty" left side of the screen. Since I often make knee-jerk parries, I decided to let my twitching handle the quick parries and focus on spotting the stomp, specifically the knee. If no knee raised, I surprisingly find myself having enough time to decide to wait or parry.
Shame I got hit several times in Phase 2, by moves I consider solved. Still not used to the rhythm in this phase, so I often lose focus when I think about the new moves mid fight. The combo that ends me here seems to have a safe spot to her left, so maybe the correct way to dodge is twice to the left, then twice to the right.
So many moves to watch out for in neutral. I don't think any other boss they've made has this much variety.

Im no expert but I've done quite the challenge runs (which is only 2 but they were a massive jump from base build) on this boss, but there is a couple of things i would personally change that would make the fight more consistent. 1- when you are low do not heal right when you take damage, when you want to heal what i personally do is wait until im familiar with an attack that i know to heal. 2- try to avoid the least amount of panic rolling when you are dodging of course. It's completely fine if you want to do it your way but it's just quick tips that helped me a ton to kill him. Btw for second phase when he goes in the air with the rock sling spell thing, i did spend about 20 minutes trying to learn it and dodge it consistently, but after i beat him i saw another way to dodge it and it's by simply running all the way back, the first 4 attacks he will miss since you're too far and the 5 you have to roll to the right.

I used serpent crest shield with carian retaliation, milady in the other hand, deflect hardtear in my physick. Parried like mad and the deflecting hard tear was great for tanking those quick succession hits. 10/10 recommend, but maybe pick a stabby weapon instead, but for style points milady is top tier. 😎
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I can't rely on physick buffs, because they might run out before the fight ends (at 0 scadutree blessings). Next video will be up soon, kinda solved the phase 2 bombardment and the cross slash combo.
Wow, 0 scadutree blessings is bloody impressive. I believe the deflecting hardtear lasts a full 5 minutes. Which as far as physics go, is very long.
Thanks! Beat him today at 0 blessings, the fight lasted around 3+ mins using rot rapier. Got hit twice though. Seems like the hardtear will last long enough, if it lasts 5 mins.

I would just run as far away as i could, running jump the gravity balls then keep running and dodge after the 4th clone (5th one is radahn) and make sure you dodge to the side of him or behind him
not in front so you don’t get caught by those small beams before the big beam explosion
Yeah, I started doing that after testing the max range of his moves. In the latest one I uploaded, that's how I dodge it (I think.) However, it's not 100% effective. He sometimes glitches out and does that move from a distance, and he ends up hovering over me. There has to be a consistent way to dodge it up close.
@@sirLSTR yeah i’ve learned that you just really gotta start sprinting as soon as you can for that attack. if you’re close to a wall of the arena you’re screwed. the attack has insane range and you need to run out of range for the clones to not hit you. honestly when in doubt i just tank the clones and dodge the real hit since they don’t do that much damage
I'm trying to beat him without getting hit, tanking isn't an option :(
@@sirLSTR ah gotcha. i usually will try to no hit bosses but i know he’s gonna piss me off and just ruin my mood lol
I just wanted to share that if you find yourself lacking space to run back to, you can dodge twice to the right side, then just walk to the same side and the fake slashes will whiff. It's not 100% (depending on your distance from him), but it's worth a try.
