- Finally found a way to bypass the need of a bluetooth helmet and to get CarPlay to always work seamlessly. Many have had issues even with the bluetooth hack but the way im doing it seems to work!

I'm just here for the outtakes at the end 😂 Good info and thanks for putting in the time to make this. There is a lot of info that helped me
Now see mines the opposite, if I use it in Bluetooth only it constantly fails but hardwired never an issue in over 1,000 miles. Crazy how these things have all these issues. Great video man
Thanks man. Yeah that’s insane! I’ve heard a few share the same.
Same thing for me. On Bluetooth, it kept crashing…constantly. Deleted everything from the bike(not even paired anymore), reset CarPlay on my phone. Plugged it in, got the CarPlay prompt on my phone and hit the Wired Connection only button. I ride in a half helmet most of the time so I have a Bluetooth device that is under my seat. It powers up and connects automatically when I start the bike. I haven’t had a problem in 3K miles. These things are funny. Luckily the motor isn’t as finicky 😂. Great video.
Very good Car Play presentation!! I already learned this (the hard way) but your explanation is spot on!!!
Thanks so much!!! Hopefully it wasn't as painful as mine was. LOL!!! Whew...feels good to hear from multiple people and their confirmation feedback. I greatly thank you taking the time to shoot me your kind words.
Great tips! Thanks for sharing!!
Nice Job. Great info.
I love my bike but its crazy you have to do all this crap just to get car play to work smh
Can you help me with my 2021 CVO with an iPhone 13 mini?
My CarPlay doesn’t Bluetooth to my phone! It has to be plugged in!
Thanks for asking my man...unfortunately i'm not familiar with those head units to confirm if wireless carplay is available for your model an if it is, how to bypass it. I've seen forums state you need a headset but other then that i'm no able to help. I'm so sorry.
@@justyouraveragejoe76Thanks! I ordered a dongle and it worked so now I’m waiting the two items you used and I think it’s gonna work! Fingers crossed but thanks for the video!
@@GregoryMorgan323 keep me posted!!! Would love to hear your results!
What is a quad lock?
quad lock is a company that makes cell phone holders and components for the olders like wireless charging and cases for phones.
This doesn’t solve anything. You still have a cord going to the phone. I thought the purpose of wireless apple car play is the ability to not need a wire? If that’s the case, you can just plug the phone straight to the bike and use the carplay that way
@@NightNight_FLTRX u don’t have to have the cord. I have the cord so that I can charge my phone. But u do not need the cord if you don’t need to charge your phone.
Wait… so it won’t work unless you have your Bluetooth on your headset?
@@CHIM601 to use the CarPlay as it’s designed, you need to have a Bluetooth headset linked to your bike. But if you don’t want to use a helmet, then this hack on this video is one of the solutions out there.
