That would in fact be Bill the Lizard from Alice In Wonderland. Don't forget about Alice Bluebonnet!
Oh my goodness thank you for saying Alice bluebonnet that was driving me crazy!! I came here to confirm that was Bill, but you knew it. But that bonnet was killing me lol thank you😁
I’m a cast member and I never knew about this!! Thank you so much, your videos help me become a better version of myself every day!
Also, I really appreciate your messages of positivity as someone who is struggling
Thank you for being a Disney cast member 🎉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤗
I hear you
@mariacanceri
I hope your cancer treatments beat that nasty cancer up because it doesn’t belong in anyone 🤗❤️
I just recently purchased a Disneyland map from 1979 as that was my first time at Disneyland. I got it professionally framed and I can stare at it daily!
That is amazing 💚💙
All of this is so cool! The lizard from the mural you showed I think is the one from Alice in Wonderland when she grows too big for the White Rabbit’s house. They have a chimney sweep lizard and I believe that is who he is
Yup. His name is Bill. The "lizard with a ladder"
"There goes Bill."
"Goodbye Bill"
Tugging at my heart here, I remember so many of these. The 35th anniversary sign, I had a map like the one you showed just older and folded. I had a Barricade cover for the parking lot. That I got rid of and wished I didn't, I liked the paper maps which I have a fine collection going back to the 30th Anniversary. And I remember the chicken of the sea flag, my mom would take me to get a sandwich when we went. Aww, so many memories!
The "Cowboy" in the pewter "Frontier Land" set is Pecos Bill. Good job Chris. Keep up the good work.
That 1958 map…. I have one, rolled up, never folded!
You are so lucky!!!
I have the Mickey phone as well ( without the lamp ).
6:12 that is the lizard from alice in wonderland! The one that gets sent to smoke the monster out!
I collect a lot of paper items. As a former sign painter, these + artwork is always a bLaSt for me. i HAVE A 1958 DL map (folded with small tears, but I still LOVE IT! AstroWorld's auction had some really cool stuff including concept art. Disney actually helped AstroWorld when it was being built. The lay of the lands were identical with some extra lands added in. There was even an air conditioned sleigh ride by Arrow! As a kid, I wanted a Mickey Mouse phone. These auction offer something for everyone.
So cool seeing you on our local news station for this subject.
My favorite was the "Monostat House of Tomorrow" lol
:D
Funniest misspeak in a while 😂
People don’t talk much about Disney’s walkthrough exhibit of the future of women’s health. It’s nice to see it represented here.
At 11:24 the Adventureland pins; the totem pole is for the Indian Village and that cowboy is Frito the Kid that used to give 5 cent bags of Fritos (those golden chips of corn) at Casa de Fritos (that is now Rancho del Zocalo.
SO cool! I am pretty sure that there is nothing in my price range budget, though! Lol
Hi Chris my name is Craig Dennis how are you both doing today i am doing fine today and my mom and my dad are doing fine today i watch your both new videos all the time you have a nice rest of your day👍👍👍👍👍
You totally need to buy that map! Would be a great background for your videos! ❤
I saw u on tv on our central valley California new abc 30 action news and I was like hey I knw tht guy lol
🤣🤣💚💙
You find yourself into some of the most amazing places!!! We gotta get together again real soon! That IS Bill the Lizard from Alice! He also had a cameo in The Great Mouse Detective years later! :D
For sure!!
I bought the preproduction pin set (about 9:20), plus two other items. Thank you for great videos
What?!?! Are you serious!!!! That pin set is so awesome. So glad you got it and two other items!!!
@@provostparkpass and you all are so awesome.
I mustache say Hi and post a comment on your page. I have the 1958b map that my parents bought at Disneyland when I was much much much younger than now LOL. It was a folded map - but I did get a chance to have Bob Gurr autograph it a couple years ago.
What?!?! Holy cow that is amazing
12:20 I remember Inner Space when I went to DW back in 1990.
Best informational (non-Disney Park) ever!
Way neato stuff there! I probably sat in all of those ride vehicles at some time in the park.
I was so hoping to see one of the Kodak picture spot signs they used to have in the park. Well, I guess I'll keep looking....
OH My!!!
I can't stand it! I love it, and everything there. Will someone please come tie me up, to keep me from bidding? I would give my kingdom for so many of these pieces. Daddy can I have the Mr Lincoln poster?
🤣🤣🤣💚💙
Chris, you don't understand my problem. Never leave me alone in a kitchen with a fresh cheesecake, or take me to an auction! Especially if the items are to my liking. I HAVE NO CONTROL OR WILLPOWER ! Not to mention that I hate to lose!
I would rather bid than pay my rent.
I saw Alice Bluebonnet in the mural.
Hey cris the cowboy is the Fritos kid
Chris I just saw you on channel 7 news! Looking good!!
Thank you. 💚💙
Hi Chris RUclips Channel Love my favorite Disneyland Park one fan Big Sonw with princess Love my favorite Disneyland Park one fan Big Disney movie DVD 📀 Dolls 💖💖💖💖💖🎶🏰
The 1958 map is so awesome! The pis and stuff too. How neat, thanks for sharing this! I'd love to mob around in that place. ✨ I love all of it. The cast member pins are so special. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it
I wanna win the lotto and buy the lot. Thanks for showing it all off for us. Amazing.
I believe that character on the left in the second drawing is from the short Flowers and Trees
25:49 yes they did! The movie that we now know as “Frozen” was an idea constantly kicked around Disney Studios as Disney had wanted to adapt “the snow queen”. However the project was constantly shelved over the years, so there exists older concept art from the 9 Old Men for the Snow Queen/frozen
I'm not sure that the company you mentioned sponsored the House Of Tomorrow ;) but this video was so cool. Thank you
6:00 That's Bill from Alice in Wonderland :D
That is the Lizard with the ladder in Alice in Wonderland. When the white rabbit and the dodo bird/pelican is trying to get the Giant got large Alice grew into the White Rabbits house. The Lizard cleans chimneys.
You that next to Drusella was the bonnet that went on the horse and she was in love with a boy hat but they went two different places and both ended up on horses at the end so they could be together.
Oh, easy! That guy climbing the ladder is from Alice in Wonderland, he’s the Lizard with a Ladder! A.K.A. Bill.
Thank you
@@provostparkpass no problem!
CHRISSSS when are you guys going to the new Toon Town?!!! Been waiting for you to show me the place specifically 🙏🏽🙏🏽 you guys are awesome btw!!! 💥💥
Soon!!!
@@provostparkpass AHHH 😆😆 I CANT WAIT!!!! 💞💞💞
That is so awesome that they let you come in and see all that great stuff!!! Thanks for sharing. If only I had few extra thousand dollars laying around. Maybe I’ll check in my couch cushions.
Can you do a video on how to work the ART bus for a trip to Disneyland? Especially for farther hotels?
I’ll do that. It’ll be in a about 2 minths
Thanks for sharing. So many cool things.
Thanks for watching!
The Cowboy in the Frontierland display is The Frito Kid from Casa de Fritos. It eventially turned into Ranch del Zocalo. Casa de Fritos is where Doritos were invented!
6:15 Yeah, that is Bill the Lizard.
Thank you!
11:26 country bear jamboree
Bill the lizard in Great mouse detective and alice in wonderland. Loved the video. Thank you
Thankyou for being such a positive person and making us feel great about ourselves. You make all of our days better!
I know a bunch of people are saying it is Bill the Lizard is climbing that ladder. I just want to throw out the possibility that it is Frank the frill necked lizard from The Rescuers Down Under.
💚💚💙💙
What an awesome video! Thanks for making this!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Definitely Bill from Alice in Wonderland! 😊 thanks for another amazing video!
Thanks for watching!
Totem Pole was from The Indian Village. Cowboy May have been the Stagecoach ride or Mule or horse ride that they had back in the day.
Thank you, Chris! This was another wonderfully amazing video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
24:06
That fruitcake looks awful. Then again that was sitting in the sun for a while so its gonna look a bit unappetizing LOL
@11:40 that's the Frito Kid, "Frito Bandito", mascot when they used to sponsor a restaurant in Frontierland. Where Doritos were invented.
The character going up the ladder is Bill from Alice in Wonderland, just in case no one's said it yet
11:41 The cowboy, I believe is the “Frito Kid” from the “Casa de Fritos” (now ranchero zocalo) back when Fritos sponsored the area/restaurant. Casa de Frito is the birthplace of Doritos chips :)
You know who is climbing the ladder, it's Bill the Lizard from Alice in Wonderland but hey you got me to comment! 😁
Thank you for commenting. 💚💙
The one thing that plucked my heart strings was the huge Peter Pan. I was just searching for one for my Grand daughter. I could never afford that one but I love it.
Wish I had the cash to buy something. Did not see it, but my favorite would be anything with Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey
21 Royal, before that it was the dream suite ( Walt’s original apartment concept) and before that it was the Disney Gallery. 😊
Everything looks nostalgic! What clicked me is the Disney Store props! All of it felt like they were there in that very store I grow up! I hope those who won said auction on these take good care of such historical pieces!
I feel the same. 💚💙
For sure. If I could have afforded to bet on some of the stuff, I would have, but I didn't. There's several curio cabinets in the home I'm renting and I likely would have put the stuff there-I would have bet on some of the smaller items.
I think the character is from Alice in wonderland, the painter that climbs the ladder
I am positive that the lizard is Bill from Alice in Wonderland. “There goes Bill.”
I saw you on the news Provo! I about had whiplash seeing you get interviewed LOL
Ohhhh. That map!!! I understand why you want it. The characters were also related to the big parking lot. You parked in Pinocchio section or Goofy section.
💚💙
The character climbing the Ladder is the lizard from Alice in wonderland
It's Bill from Alice in Wonderland, right?? "Poor Bill."
11:38 The cowboy is the Frito kid, he was the mascot for the corn chips. You can listen to him on RUclips
Yes, Bill the Lizard! I thought Joanna the Goanna at first but nope.
Hi Chris!
Hi!
The lizard from Alice in Wonderland is named Bill.
"There goes Bill."
CHRIS!!! That Autotopia car Sold for $180,000!!!!! Just checked their website!! 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
180k?! Woah!!!
I have 2 did Disneyland maps from 1958 not folded and framed also.
Character on ladder is “Bill” from Alice in Wonderland. (A Lizard with a ladder)
Just saw you, Chris, on our local ABC news! They were reporting on the auction. Looking good! 😁 Thanks for the preview.
Whoa!!!
Definitely Bill the Lizard from Alice in Wonderland 😊
12:11 I think you meant Monsanto House of the Future, not Monistat. 😅
True. Hahahahahaha lil blooper there
I love antiques, retro stuff and I really love Disney. Thank you for sharing this. FUN video 🎉💕🎊
Thanks for watching!
The Hungry Bear Jamboree!!! I absolutely adore it when you completely give up on getting the name right. 😆
Right?!
Wish I had the space ,room and money 😂
Same :D
There stuck on 750
& 1000 for everything
I guess after they buy that thing from the jungle book, they can pack their trunk. 😂 😂 😂 don’t worry, I’ll see myself out.
Hahahahahahahahaha
Chris thank you so much for showing us all these treasures to be auctioned off. While most of us won't own these we can dream and think about fantastic artifacts we've seen thanks to you 😎
Wish I could post a picture, but just saw Chris on my local news broadcast (ABC30 Fresno, CA) talking about the auction.
No way!!!! 💚💙
Chris I have a 20 x 30 pencil sketch drawing of dopey for my son from Kevin kidney. Is that pretty cool?
Very cool!
The Tiffany style lamps are gorgeous!
Chris did Amanda Ride Indy yet?
Absolutely :D
@@provostparkpass thank you for being such an amazing person. Love you and Amanda
Chris: omg what I’m about to show you next is the best and my favorite thing here!! Nothing can top this !
Next, next shot: repeat, see above 😂
So true. 🤣🤣🤣💙💚
I was watching the documentary on the making of Frozen and they definitely referenced that same drawing and said they were talking about making the ice Queen fairy tale into a movie when Walt was alive.
Thank you for sharing. 💚💙
I would buy a Peter and the wolf popgun.
So cool that you showed us! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Oh man, there are so many amazing things listed in that auction. Lots of great signs and and cast member uniforms. The EPCOT trash can would be wonderful. But if given unlimited funds and space, I would have to say the #1 thing I would bid on would be the full-size Monorail cabin they have listed. Only $24k at the moment, but how crazy would it be to have that at your home!
"Disney Auction"? Okay, I'll bid $1,000,000,000 on a Walt and a Roy. 🙂
at first I thought this was Tom Kenny???
Do they have everything inside the place
OMG Monistat House of Tomorrow 😂
Keep it clean.
Hajajajajajajajaja I made a little mistake there.
I bought a pin display case where they’d put all the limited edition pins for the moment from the splash mountain gift shop!! I won it from another auction site! It was so cool
No way!! That is amazing 💚💙
Wish I could afford to get it all . I love Disney
It’s the lizard with a ladder in Alice in Wonderland….THIS IS AWESOME CHRIS!!!! THANK YOU!!!
I remember when Toon Town was built.. I remember being like 5 years old and seeing the mountains in the distance 🥰
"The Disney Gallery" above Pirates!! For us "commoners!!!"😅😅😅
I won!!! Disneyland - Cast Member Service Pins Set of 7 (Walt Disney, c. 1950s-80s). Tried to get the Tinkerbell Tiffany lamp, out of my budget!!! The red Utopia car went for 30k!!! Wow..
