Hi, my wife just finished to watch your latest video and she is so motivated to go to disneyland she has stage 4 lung cancer and she loves your videos. Thank you for doing this and we hope to taking her this christmas for the last time.
Give her a hug for me
🙏 I pray for your wife and family. Enjoy your time together. Make those memories for those times you'll need to feel a hug.
@@LUIGIP64 Sending you hugs 🙏🏼🩷
Gotta go with Get Away Today! I'll be praying for your wife and your family!
I have non-hidgkins lymphoma. These trips and memories end up being worth FAR more than the money spent. Remember to take time to soak in the atmosphere while there, and don't rush too much. I find it stays with you better and deeper that way.
Never stop your personal messages, they have helped so many people. A kind and good man you are Chris.
I just LOVE how you stop what you’re doing to say hi to people. You seem so genuine and kind and your videos are something I look forward to
We saw you today in Pym Test Kitchen. You took a picture with my son, he can’t stop talking about it. So kind of you, you’re a class act. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Oh thank you!
As a senior in high school we had are senior trip to Disneyland in 1977. About 10 of my friends were walking by the newly built Space mountain when an Imagineer came up to us and asked if we wanted to ride Space Mountain. So we got to ride it first with the lights on then rode it with them off. So much different with the lights on.
I loved grad night me 1971. Good Ole days but went summer of 77 n rode almost whole thing first breakdown in lights gave us free ride after. A whole different experience. Remember in the queue you heard the ride and the openings to look in try to see but couldn't.
I want you to notice something: when you look at that very last picture of Walt Disney, take a good look at the Micky Mouse and you will notice that for Mickey, his expression actually looks melancholy. (❣️) 🙏🏻✝️
What an awesome ✨ Magical moment / memory
Grad Night 87 for my first trip.
I Graduated in 77, but went with my soon to be ex husband in 76.😂
That’s my wife and I waving at 36:51 lol. We’re really big fans of your channel. Thanks for everything!
You rock!
Disney families are GREAT families.
I just love how much you and Dave from Fresh Baked enjoy each other. You two are my absolute favorites (and MigVee and Janelle!).
Folks....THIS is the true guided tour of Disneyland! Well done Chris, thank you for this!
Hey chris! I was the person with the Pooh ears and my boyfriend was wearing the yoshi hat that got a picture with you yesterday! What a joy it was to meet you! Thank you for your videos and your messages (I always cry lol). We appreciate all that you do for us viewers, it makes for a more special trip with all the knowledge and history about the parks! Keep shining! ✨
Ambitious indeed! The incredible amount of research, editing, filming and passion is unbelievable.
Thank you Chris and the PPP team for always inspiring and entertaining
Matterhorn is my favorite. When skyway rode thru the mountain it was even better. Highlight of my childhood!
Chris and David have the BEST vlogging bromance! I wish you two collaborated more.
I hope this comment finds you! One of my FAVORITE reasons I love watching your videos is how genuinely excited you are to talk to your viewers! You truly take the take to stop and talk to them and it makes me smile every time someone says hi and you said hi back and cut the camera! It shows how much you really do care about each and every person!! ❤
Thank you 💙💚
"There is just one moon and one golden sun and a smile means frienship to everyone..."🎶 --Small World
My son is a farrier and always noticed that the Disney (land and world) horses are extremely well cared for. Nice to know and see!
you are so popular! I love that you meet each guest with positivity and sincere enthusiasm!
It’s always a treat. 💙💚
Chris, I think you and your videos are absolutely awesome!! Thank you!
Wow, thank you!
I used to love the little screens that played "space ads" while you waited in line. The most memorable ones for me were from the late '80s and early '90s, the ones with Glenn Shadix (Otho from Beetlejuice) as "Ray Cathode" the space fashion reporter, and the Crazy Larry space junk salesman. Classic.
Absolutely Loved this video!!! Please do more of these videos about the History of Disneyland! So fascinating!! Also another idea for videos please make a video of what rides were there originally and exactly where they were located.
Cute, the plunger was right over your head when you mentioned it. 😁
Thank you for taking the time to stop and talk to me at Disneyland the other day, it was so nice to meet you.
You are like the Mr Roger’s of Disney content. I’ve been watching your videos for years as a Disney fan and a fan of how you present everything.
I just caught on to how you always point out to things that the little kids will enjoy. I think I appreciate it a lot now that I have kids. We will be there for the last two days of the year and the first two days of the year and I always enjoy sharing some of the history and secrets you provide to my kids.
My fave memory of Mark Twain when Pete Fountain the great Dixieland Clarinet player had a concert on board..a massive crowd surrounded the river so all could enjoy his music.
Casey Junior‘s train is my favorite ride! I like to ride at the very back facing the opposite way so I can watch the tracks and it makes me feel like I’m the only one riding the ride. It’s so nostalgic and you can see storybook land and enjoy all the magic!
This is the reason I subscribed to your channel so many years ago. The very first video I saw of course was years ago you showed the ship mast behind the buildings/food places in new orleans square. Today, you brought back a memory of my Grandmother. Every Christmas, the whole family would gather and we would open gifts and have a big family supper. Then we would go the movies to see something. When you were talking about roger rabbit in toon town, I had to pause and cry a bit. I remember when it came out, and at Christmas, that was the movie we all went to see on Christmas day. I always remember, no matter the movie we went to see, within the first 10 minutes, my grandma was always asleep and snoring. The best memories ever. Always remember, no matter what we do, we may always bring about joy in someone's life. Thank you.
27:38 Shhh! Don't let our secret out about the rain thing. I always loved that our Teacups and Big Thunder have open air loading.
LOVED this video!!! And, my favorite fact was that the Monstro blinks his eye, and that water comes out of his spout. I never knew!❤
Chris was the only one not riding any rides to give us the secrets of the ‘attractions’! & Wow, how busy the park was when filming this! Love all the waves & shout out’s! ❤
YOU YOU YOU! You make my life better. Thank you so much! You really do make this world a better place.
Prior Navy here..... coins under mast where for good luck but also would mention....sailors would hide things under it in case during the journey it was damaged or lost and they could have the funds to repair or purchase new. Yo Ho a Pirates Life for Me!
Wow I’m gonna have to kick back with some popcorn this evening and watch this. Can’t wait.
Great idea! I’m gonna go pop some corn!
I love your message at the end in addition to the whole video. I think we all want you to know how much these videos brighten our lives, if we can not visit the parks ourselves as often as we want it means so much to have you show them to us from afar. Thank You so very much, this is my stress relief, your videos are my anti depressant medication. Thank You so so much. Please, never stop, you are amazing!
I learned so much from this video chris thank you❤. These videos mean the world to my husband and I look so forward to them. Thank you Chris!! Oh I also agree with Amanda they should have left Jessica be herself!!!
Mr.Prvost! we met in April, in DT Disney, you told my teenage kids that I am "cool". Thank you for your kindness and genuine attitude!
Love it. Yes DCA next!!
I appreciate the fact that in this video we see several people call out to u and u obviously stop and converse w them
Love this channel forever. Don't always get a chance to watch each video but just know I always support the Provosts. A shining positive light in this world
Chris, I noticed you missed the castle walk-through in Fantasy land. Do you consider that an attraction? Just curious.Nevermind....I just saw it to the end. Whew! By the way. Your personal messages saved my sanity when my son passed away a few years ago. I still struggle with PTSD and I still appreciate your kindness with every video. Personally, Thank you. And I mean that.
Tigger tails are the best! I have been going to Disneyland for a really long time but never had one until I first saw it on your channel. Thank you ❤😊
I would go left to start the tour.
Great timing to run into Dave like that 😃😃😃
Loved it!!! Dave just sitting on the curb on Main Street! Epic!!!
I’d love to drive a police car on Autopia!
Hi Chris, never comment on videos but love your videos with your message of positivity, it makes me happy every time it’s so sweet.
Yeah we got mentioned!!! My wife and I are the family from Mexico and we loved meeting you. Once again thanks for all the amazing content you create, we love the channel!!!
You're the best!
Thank you so much. You are so amazing and your messages mean the world to me. You are great! Please keep up being so awesome!
I seem to remember as a kid there were two Autopia places and in between them there was a you drive the boat attraction
Seriously, your jokes make me laugh and bring me joy! 😂😂
It was nice to met you in person Chris. I enjoyed your content. Thank you for sharing the secrets of the magic kingdom.
gotta say, I miss the old school escalator entrance for space mountain with the majority of the line up on the giant landing.
Loved this video. It was great to meet you on Sunday night over by the earl of sandwich! Thanks for all you do. Grateful for your affirmation and positivity
I greeted you last week. I'm from Missouri. It was my first time to Disneyland. Your presentation and info is so helpful. Have a great day. Thanks
It was my pleasure
Thank you for your personal messages! They are quite healing. Please keep them going. Your kindness is appreciated. I miss living in Southern California, and your videos help me to feel connected to my home. Cheers.
Mr. Toad’s wild Ride may be the only ride, but Big Thunder Mountain is the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness 😂
Disneyland used to be my happy place. The pricing has gotten confusing and it's hard to budget for a trip. Your videos are so happifying and I appreciate the work and intent you put into them.
Needed a park pass video of Disneyland tonight. Perfect way to end a stressful night.
Love this video! Also as always thank you for your encouraging words. You are awesome.
One of your best ! Thanks so much, really enjoyed it.
Awww Chris! I thought for sure you were going to talk about the little building at the entrance of the Matterhorn. That was the ticket collection point when you had to buy the coupon books. If course, it was an E ticket ride.
Great video! You put in lots of work. Your message really touched my heart…thanks
I love those horses! They are so beautiful!
Another great video…88 days away from my 1st trip to Disneyland!!
Have a great time
Thank you for this amazing trip w all the secrets! I enjoyed every moment! 🥰
Ps I so appreciate your positive messages in this upside down world and political distress going on. Thank you for being SO VERY NICE. 🙏🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ok Chris another fantastic video!! I learned soooo much!!! Thank you!! I would love to see you doing a video for DCA!!
I was there last week, but man do I want to go back! I have a reservation for the 23rd, but hearing the sounds of Main Street has me wishing it was sooner!
Fun seeing David in the video! lol his videos are great too!
Thanks for all the great secrets Chris! Have to agree the back of the castle is much more welcoming. Feels like you are approaching from within the kingdom and not coming upon the structure by itself.
I love the Tigger tales they are so good I sometimes get two
You’re videos are great! And the inspirational messages at the end are so nice and encouraging. Keep up the good work. Thank you. 😊
I DO appreciate it. As of right now, I’m in a terrible state financially and could use some cheering up. Thanks. ❤
Great video. Thank you for all your efforts. I can only visit the park every couple years, and it is so nice to just feel like I'm walking around with you.
Chris, I absolutely get what you felt about the Millenium Falcon. I felt the same way and yes, my eyes got wet. (still do).
Chris, I love the history videos the most. Thank you.
Glad you like them!
"There is jusy one moon and one golden sun. And a smile means friendship to everyone!"
Met you in front of chip and dales gadget coaster. Thanks for stopping and chatting for a bit, keep up the awesome work, love this channel!
As we watch this video, I am certain everyone is adding their own dialog, adding details and reminiscing about what Disneyland attractions were like in the past.
Re: Toad infernal scene This is a guess, but because the train gag was so great they probably thought what happens next? As a kid I was blown away by the train effect, but never thought about the infernal scene connection to it.
Re Carousel: I heard the children all wanted to ride jumpers and
I also like that you call it Star Wars Land. Me too.
Thank you so much for your videos! I never miss one and love when I see you put out a new one. Can’t wait for the DCA video.
Also, I totally love that you take the time to say hi to the people that say hi to you and all the cuts that shows that you probably stopped and talk to them for a couple minutes. That’s really amazing. A lot of Disney bloggers don’t do that so thank you and hopefully next time I go, I get to see you .
Your video makes me appreciate everything at Disneyland so much more
the Whole video is awesome, loved it,wow, amazing, epic, cool, thank you so much Chris.
I love your videos. I love that you dress up for DL. Like when it opened. I love your energy & positivity. Thank you.
sd note. A Carousel was originally a game of collecting runs on a stick as the stationary ponys went around.
I liked this one a lot Chris and looking forward to a similar themed video at DCA
I think of a ride as something you ride, lol. An attraction is something like great moments with Mr. Lincoln, etc..❤
Toontown was open when I had my high school grad night event in 1993; it was an absolute blast to see it with my friends and only other teenagers goofing around like we were 10. :P
These long videos have been a treat
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! Thank you!!! Watching from New Zealand and planning our bucket list family trip to take our kids to Disneyland which has been in the planning for ages!!!. Ive been but my daughters havent. We are planning on September 2025, ONE YEAR TO GO!!!!! These are sooo helpful!!! Yes For DCA please!!! I also love how this helps me get my bearings for the layout of the Park!!! Keep it up, we are so grateful!!!! Your accomodation ones, EVERYTHING helps!!! Blessings, from NZ
Love this video! So many rich fun facts. It’s been a few years since I last visited Disneyland, I hope to go back soon. Thank you for the knowledge!
Awesome pro secrets! Also I always love the pep talks. Keep them coming
I think your messages at the end are great. I personally appreciate it more than you know
Thank you for this video. I enjoyed it thoroughly. My favorite secret was the names of the horses that pull the trolleys. I enjoyed the entire segment.
As corny as this may sound, I bend my ear to your Dad jokes. Sorry. Couldn’t resist.
10:58 background dude is amazing lol
I guess I need to watch Dumbo again. I don't remember the train scene with, "I think I can." I always remember that from the children's book The little engine that could. That's interesting. 😊
"Performance enhancing rugs" Yes! So good!!!!
Thanks!
Thank you so much. 💙💚
Well done Chris!
My favorite was Pirates
My second favorite was Big Thunder (you can count that as a “free bee!”
I think the fire station, Fantasyland Theater, and of course the Disneyland Railroad were missed attractions. Dang it! There are more attractions like the Mad Hatter, Droid Building, Lightsaber building, I didn’t remember seeing Chip & Dale’s Gadget Coaster, Pixie Hallow, Princess meet and greet . There’s just so many attractions at Disneyland and then there’s the food!
Keep up the great work!
Love your videos. Lmoa the people trying to photo bomb your video. They were star struck😊
I just wanted to let you know that you are awesome also. It so very refreshing to hear anyone on you tub say that it doesn’t matter what your political preferences are that the people watching are awesome just because they are them is sooooo refreshing. Keep up the fantastic videos.
🌟 You & Walt were cut from the same cloth.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I was just there on the 14th-16th. Perfect timing on this video.
My favorite rides in the park are probably a 3 way tie between Indiana Jones Adventure, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Rise of the Resistance.
Pirates of the Caribbean also gets a mention for having been my favorite ride when I was little, especially since Galaxy’s edge had not yet opened. I still enjoy it, but the queue out in the sun isn’t as fun as some others. (Haunted Mansion, Star Tours, Indiana Jones and both rides in Galaxy’s Edge have the most interesting theming in the queues IMO.)
We just happened to get on Jungle Cruise and Small World, the day before they shut both rides down for refurbishment. Talk about luck!!
The Mark Twain and the Columbia were both built at Todd Shipyard that used to be in LA Harbor where the terminal China shipping is now.
I had a guide book from the 80s that called the rides the movable attraction and just attraction for non moveable. The reason they called the Gadget Go Coaster was from the cartoon Rescue Rangers. The in park lore was that Gadget built it.
You are amazing!! Thanks Chris for your positivity and videos! :)
I remember when the Finding Nemo Submarine was called Submarine Voyage (Nautilus) attraction, long, long time ago lol
