I’m a HUGE Disney girly and this definitely made me very happy. I go through bursts of looking through and researching Disney and I just want to commend your work, it’s a very well done video and it was just epic🫶🏻 I have no other way to describe without sounding like a nerd
Just discovered your two channels - beautiful work Such attention to detail, images, artistry and affection for your subject Lovely use of music (as befits a composer) - Mozart and Disney are a lovely combo Enjoy the understated wit and engaging quality of your voice I'm a theatre director and filmmaker as well as a lifelong Disneyphile (I grew up not far from Disneyland in CA) and really look forward to seeing (and hearing) more of your work. I have so many ideas of possible future videos if you are ever interested in brainstorming - it is a pleasure to see a new video artist blessed with intelligence and graceful subtlety

Thank you for this great comment! Yes, Walt Disney World is on the list, a couple new ones soon first, and then that should be soon after those! Thanks again!
@@briadventures Hello. Good morning. My name is Brian López. I prefer Walt Disney World over Disneyland because the property has so much to offer in terms of attractions, entertainment, food and accommodations. So, no, I don't like your video, sorry. 😔😐😞🫤❤️🩹😢😞🙁😁
I was first taken to Disneyland in 1976 when I was 4 years old. It was still the age of the lettered tickets with more basic attractions being ‘A’ tickets and the most popular rides being ‘E’ tickets. Considering that we live in New Zealand, it was a long flight Auckland-Honolulu-Los Angeles return. We actually departed New Zealand on Christmas Day 1976.
Yes, the early days of Disneyland, and so magical to think back to its earlier years and how much it has evolved since then! Thank you for your comment!
Walt Disney really was an incredible innovator. He quite literally shaped several generations of parents and children all around the world. It’s a shame that his legacy has been ruined by things like She-Hulk.
35:55 - PRR on the viewluner train!?? Was Pennsylvania Railroad a corporate sponsor at Disneyland? That reminded me that Penncentral company had owned part of Six Flags.
Hi, I believe that is the Aerotrain you are seeing at the timecode you listed. The Disneyland Viewliner was inspired by the Aerotrain, which was in fact on the Pennsylvania Railroad line, hence why you see its PRR initials on the front of the train. I am showing the "real" Aerotrain" at that point, and not the Disneyland Viewliner, because my narration is explaining how Walt wanted a futuristic train on a track to add to Disneyland, and it was in part, inspired by the Aerotrain, which you are seeing at that point. If you look closely, right at the beginning of the timecode, you'll see for a quick second, the passenger car, with its windows. When you see the Disneyland Viewliner, those windows are not present, and its more of an open design. Hope that makes sense! Thanks for your comment!
It would probably cost a ton of money but if Disney bought back the peoplemover but as an automated light metro ie: docklands light railway or Vancouver skytrain that ran above ground in Tomorrowland and below ground to the other lands and the gate that would be very cool and better align with Walt’s vision of tomorrow.
No, I haven't heard that yet, till now that you said it. I'll probably start hearing that more often now, perhaps! Thank you for your comment, appreciate it!!
This makes me sad. Sad for what Disney has become from this dream. Walt was no saint, and definitely liked to make a buck, but it sure didn’t seem like he would sacrifice his humanity for making a buck and following misguided principals.

I am surprised that animatronics existed back in the 1950’s.
47:40 build me a time machine and leave me here. My house of the future and people mover. Throw in the Carousel of progress and skyway.
Great video. Not sure why so little views or subs.
Man Rocket Rods could have worked, if they would have built a track that would have supported the turns and twists
Your absolutly correct about that!!
MONO = ONE. RAIL = RAIL that concludes our intensive 3 week course.

As it has been said so many times over the years starting with Mr Disney there something for everyone.
I read somewhere that the Matterhorn was too tall for city code so they had to build a basketball court somewhere in it to get it approved.
What a great channel! Thanks! I actually saw today that Bob has his own RUclips channel. That was really interesting.

Need need the people mover back and skyline back and splash mountain
Today is Jan 5 2025. This year with the the 70th anniversary of the opening of Disneyland.
Should of kept splash mountain open! Nothing wrong with that attraction at all!
If Walt could see his company now, he’d be disgusted. They haven’t made anything original since the Lion King (93)
Nah when Disney started going down, it was when the live action Pinocchio movie came out. Everybody hated that for some reason.
This makes me sad. Sad for what Disney has become from this dream. Walt was no saint, and definitely liked to make a buck, but it sure didn’t seem like he would sacrifice his humanity for making a buck and following misguided principals.
I agree wholeheartedly.
Big difference between then and now is that Walt made sure that buck was worth every penny.
It's too bad it costs a fortune to go there now.when I was a kid it had a whole different aura.another example of "the good ole days" lost forever..😢
