I was first taken to Disneyland in 1976 when I was 4 years old. It was still the age of the lettered tickets with more basic attractions being ‘A’ tickets and the most popular rides being ‘E’ tickets. Considering that we live in New Zealand, it was a long flight Auckland-Honolulu-Los Angeles return. We actually departed New Zealand on Christmas Day 1976.

I read somewhere that the Matterhorn was too tall for city code so they had to build a basketball court somewhere in it to get it approved.
Star tours is a great ride! They need to rip out buzz lightyear ride and change it to something new
Walt Disney really was an incredible innovator. He quite literally shaped several generations of parents and children all around the world. It’s a shame that his legacy has been ruined by things like She-Hulk.
It would probably cost a ton of money but if Disney bought back the peoplemover but as an automated light metro ie: docklands light railway or Vancouver skytrain that ran above ground in Tomorrowland and below ground to the other lands and the gate that would be very cool and better align with Walt’s vision of tomorrow.
Should of kept splash mountain open! Nothing wrong with that attraction at all!

This makes me sad. Sad for what Disney has become from this dream. Walt was no saint, and definitely liked to make a buck, but it sure didn’t seem like he would sacrifice his humanity for making a buck and following misguided principals.
They ruined Disneyland taking away the people mover and splash mountain
