My favourite song outside of Brian Fallon's music and then he goes and sings it.
I'm a fucking HUGE Oasis fan (as my name suggests) and this is probably up there as one of my favourite Oasis tracks. Stumbled across this by sheer accident and I'm over the moon that I did. I came in with lowish expectations (despite also being a fan of TGA) and whilst its not on a par with Noel's versions, it was a belting effort.
Alright I'm drinking whisky and I've watched this enough times, I'll favorite it.

Love brian fallon and the gaslight anthem but just a guitar nerd meself so i spotted the same thing on 'gonna start a revolution' theres an f to fm and also 'stand up beside the fireplace' he misses the aug chords there also,still dig the cover tho its just wen i was first learning guitar this song was massive and was our 'go to tune' to get the place hoppin! But thats the beauty of songs like this,truly an anthem so as long as your heart is there its 9/10 its gonna come across well..peace✌

The hat fell off. Theres also a version where his belt unfastens, his guitar unstrings itself and his throat only produces the sounds of the aborigine wild boar. i love his recvords but live is a bit a disappointment. He plays guitar like he learnt it 2 weeks ago. His voice tone is great but not so in tune
I love his music, writing. But people that say this is amazing or any of his covers really, are just trying to hard to be fans. His vocals are horrible and the chord progression is wrong. Doesn't mean he sucks, but his voice isnt the best.

It's a cover. I think part of the charm of doing a cover is to inject a bit of yourself into it; it doesn't at all need to be perfect...I think it's lovely performed as is.
