@ im talking about consistency and frequency, he was consistently an imposing force for alot longer and the ferocious way he fought was something we havent seen from anyone weve seen on screen except maul (live action ofcourse im not debating the cartoons) but in terms of small moments of brutality then yes vader had many great small but imposing moments like he did when he was offing civilians in obi wan, burning kenobi, and the hallway scene from rogue one. papatine just slashed 3 jedi nothing too crazy quimir shishkabobbed 2 jedi, broke a neck, poked 3 holes in one, killed the rest and the way he fought was insane and comparable to maul in TPM the only reason why i didnt mention Vader vs luke is because vader was just toying with him playing mostly defense till the end when he got mad

I see why people are having a lot of issues with this.. but past the writing and some/ most of the plot, its a fantastic bit of work. The choreography in the fights, especially with qimir.. form 7 is so beautiful to watch.
Both actors for Sol and Qimir did excellent jobs. They definitely carried the show, along with the choreography. That move where he pulled a Jedi onto a saber that was already stabbed through another was badass
I hope we get more of Qimir and Sol. Those 2 were fuckin awesome. Jecki too. RIP. But the rest of this show sucked sweaty donkey nuts. From the BACK!! Just gettin all the poo hole smell.
Id totally watch another show with him, but iwthout rest of the cast, different writers and different production. shame for him it turned out how it did cuz he put in amazing performance. and those fights were epic
Star Wars brings the spectacle and the Acolyte fight scenes brought the smoke. The fights are visceral in tone, atmospheric in setting, exquisite in stunts and choreography and just damn right thrilling in execution. Love every second of it. The show wasn’t great but it had a great villain who was enigmatic and deadly.
He is special. He even took the crown from Anakin Skywalker in my fickle heart. Let's find some of the best writers available and let's see Qimir again!

This is the high republic era, where the Jedi are regarded as being the in the absolute height. He solo’s like 8 Jedi with about as much ease as possible given the task at hand. Lightsaber wise, sure he doesn’t look as flashy as Anakin, but that could just be chopped up to Disney lightsaber choreography and Hayden Christensen being the greatest swordsman of all time. But in terms of raw power and strength I think qimir takes the cake

Sith apprentices are much stronger than even jedi masters. I will also say that he uses cortosis armor and a forbidden lightsaber style that both the jedi AND sith banned. It makes sense why the jedi fell so easily to him, they should’ve.

Disney improved their choreography game so much when compared to say, Kenobi or RoS, its actually insane. Honestly this is the best its been since RotS, so 2nd in the entire franchise.
Sooooooo, I loved so much about this show except for the twins and I feel like if they would have become one by the end of the season we would have a season two. Besides that the fighting the atmosphere, great job! I enjoyed the inclusion of stuff from the other parts of the Star Wars Universe too.

Bad plot but amazing choreography! Qimir, Sol, and Jeckie are my favorites. Also, anyone notice at 1:15 how Qimir uses a forbidden technique, Tràkata, against the group of Jedi he was fighting? A technique where you quickly turn off and on a lightsaber during combat to throw off your enemy. It is seen as unethical to both Jedi and Sith.

Thats was crazy. Wow such a shame and waste that Disney cant even fall through with the High Republic. They NEED to just keep going with this era. We need this era fleahed out fully before they try to go into any other timelines. I feel like the potential is so high. For the High Republic. But as it seems maybe the potential is too much. Not to mention it doesn't interfere with the Old Republic era but is right after so the jedi and sith are still at war and are exponentially more powerful.

A similar tactic Palpatine used with Anakin to convert him when killing Mace. Qimir is more clever and tactical thinker than he lets everyone else (even the audience) on.

Only when they are in the darkest place or have been completely consumed by the dark side, Dooku only showed red eyes once in the clone wars movie, Vader before cranking Wat Tambors knobs to 11 on Mustafar, Palps didn't till he face fucked himself with the power of Zeus, one of Vitiates twin sons when he cut his brother down in a fit of rage and we see his turn back to normal once realizing what he'd done, etc. It's not as simple as "hurr am sith look at my spooky eyes!"

The Dark Side is like a drug in the form of energy that not only corrupts the minds of its users (Sith and Dark Jedi) but also degenerates and affects their appearance thus causing the symptoms like gray skin and the yellow eyes to take place in appearance. Darth Zash had it the worst.
As much as I HATE/HATE this series, this battle was actually a lot of fun to watch, and I actually enjoyed his brutality and his helmet being twisted cortosis metal, disrupting the lightsabers like that, made him that much more threatening and dangerous to basically GODS, and that reveal shot when his helmet comes off was DOPE, that said, this series is TRASH, and I can only watch this portion of it with any enjoyment!!!...

I didn't even know who was Leslie before seeing this series, but even with that the show is regular imo. This episode and the last are good, but the rest are regular to bad. The show built its plot around a plot twist that isn't well done. Some characters are interesting but the most part are boring or not important.
who give a shit about plot or the chracters, they weren't that bd the plot and characters where 6/10 which is kind good, but the fight scenes 9/10, so for me the show was 7.5/10 overall, i didn't actually plan for the maths to work out like that, but yeah it was the best live action fight scenes, maybe even the best fight scenes in all star wars (except the old republic trailers, because they were perfect)

I don't like this particular movie it's kinda weird to follow they have witches and stuff and the plot is horrible and what was the reason why Osha turned sith again..like really..and how could she kill Indira that's crazy that jedi master knows more about the art of fighting she's just a kid.. it's off based not good
I thought id never see Prequel style lightsaber fights ever again. Shame its in a garbage show.
