I see why people are having a lot of issues with this.. but past the writing and some/ most of the plot, its a fantastic bit of work. The choreography in the fights, especially with qimir.. form 7 is so beautiful to watch.

Star Wars brings the spectacle and the Acolyte fight scenes brought the smoke. The fights are visceral in tone, atmospheric in setting, exquisite in stunts and choreography and just damn right thrilling in execution. Love every second of it. The show wasn’t great but it had a great villain who was enigmatic and deadly.

Sol has some awesome fights in the show! Sol is one of the few positives in this show for me. Overall, I think The Acolyte is very poorly written, and even the best aspects (like Sol) are nowhere near as good as they could be. I’m planning to make a video for my channel where I rank the main Star Wars shows, so you can definitely check that out when I release it to see more of my thoughts! Golden Chainsaw: Mesmer Fucking diabolical. Gunpowder and the whale were pretty cool, but imagine killing a person who can read minds by showing him how you’ll kill him and then brutally bashing his head in with a sink. Dull Machete: The Baby It was pretty cool, and kind of funny. It was also a perfect way to learn about how supes on homelanders level are raised in a lab. but it technically wasn’t him anyway.
