I was in the audience for this taping. Our reaction if you are wondering was... everyone was very surprised, freaking out a bit but also confused. We didn't stand up for him but we cheered of course. He kept apologizing lol. When he asked if we were disappointed, some hands raised, but he did a great job and talked to us in between sets! Also his wife was there supporting him which was really cute

As someone who remembers the booking wars of the 90s, it warms my heart to see the camaraderie of the current group of late night hosts.

I think Jimmy Kimmel is a great guy and has inspired a lot of people, but sometimes he can get very political and I just want to watch Fallon to escape all of that. Fallon is not totally neutral, but it's very friendly vibe and I can see people from both and any political background enjoy Fallon. That's just one of my theories.

In general, once a person lives in California, it's difficult to say NYC is just as good. More space, palm trees and traffic jam, but during an LA traffic jam, you can look up the blue sky with high raises/concrete jungles. At at the LA metro is a bit cleaner and less noisy
You're right about that. Once you've been under the sun and palm trees with all that space...NYC becomes a prison. I've been there for only 3 months and I miss it a lot.
