Love the kitchen it was different..that top floor where the elevator doesn't go..is for the youngins..fresh lungs..young legs..my type of house..enough going on in this house for me to like it..❤️💯😉
When you made it up the steps, it would have been cool if you turned around and showed the view of the front yard from the front door. Good tour as always.
Lovely home and I really like the kitchen. BUT, too many stairs and no land. Plus the brick drive goes all the way to the house next door while this drive has asphalt. Looks askew not to match.
The blend of modern design and classic elements is truly impressive. The spacious open-concept layout, high ceilings, and Venetian plaster walls create a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. Thanks for the home tour.
Thanks for the tour! The craftsmanship in this home is amazing. The tiling and flooring are done well. Someone took a lot of time working on the interior walls and flooring. The colors and designs are ideal for most-it's not too trendy and definitely not "cookie cutter." The "lodge-looking" area is perfect for those who like a lot of woodwork. It's nice that it wasn't a theme for the whole house but likely catered to someone's style. I also love that it's not an open floor plan. It's a nice concept, but open floor plans are not ideal for families, especially families with kids and people who telework. I definitely wouldn't mind living in a place like this, but the price is a bit steep for me. I also don't necessarily care for a lot of stairs. Doing laundry and keeping up with kids isn't very easy with multiple floors.
This is a gorgeous house for a large family, but a lot of stairs. What generally is the cost of maintaining an elevator? How often does it have to be serviced? And that is so weird, the elevator definitely had a button that said (4).
This is a beautiful home. I would definitely buy it. The location is great. Yard space is not a lot but less yard work. I was already planning who would go where😂. Thank you for keeping us excited about what's out there, attainable or not. 🙏🏾
Love that kitchen! Great floor plan. Great view from upstairs. BUT, hate the modern fireplaces. They would go if I bought this house. And, small yard. I wouldn’t mind, but it might be hard on the resale value. I have no idea if the price is right or not.
I love the beauty of the house which is why I under why they are asking for more than 4 million but there are so many things I feel I would change that make it a no for me. It's really beautiful and I love the layout, especially the wood work and different texture options throughout the house. You can tell the designer really took their time.
Interesting concept…. A house big enough for a large family with no yard. 😂🤣😂Hmmm I’m sure the omission of the lot size from the listing was on purpose. I’m assuming most buyers would see the small lot size and pass before viewing the home. I’m sure the eves in the upper level were a structural nightmare for the elevator access. Also seemed to be a hodge podge (odd mixture) of design styles. All and all though it is a beautiful home.
Jonathan, I still have plenty of books. I would love that library! I LOVE the first and second kitchens. It is a perfect family compound. I absolutely love it, but I can't afford it. The only drawback, that the front yard might make up for, is space for a garden.
I love the house the only drawback for me is the outdoor living space. I really need a lovely outdoor space. Outdoor entertaining for me is huge. Outdoor cooking, relaxing, covered spaces, pool, hot tubs are my must haves. Other than that, I would purchase it.
The stairs are the deal breaker. No one wants to come home from a long day's work and walk up all those downstairs. The elevated doesn't go to the top floor. And it would take some time to get used to the layout I mean even you got lost. Not to mention that in the back it looks like a heavy storm could cause major flooding. $2.5 mil at most for me
I’m in MD and would definitely buy however I would say lack of space for a large gathering would deter me and the amount of stairs although the elevator would help
The kitchen is very lovely, but I am not a fan of the living room’s fireplace. It’s very clean and could be an strong option for a buyer in that market.
People who can’t go up the stairs like me , wouldn’t need to be up on the 4th floor That’s for the kids - i would need the elevator from the bottom floor to my bedroom The price sounds right for DC Beautiful home
Yo! J.M no cap! Tooooo!!!! Manyyyy! Stairs....I mean nice house but...counting the stairs walking up into the house, and then counting the stairs in the house....I wouldn't call it a house...that's a mini sky scraper 😂😅😆 just saying.but the interior was👍
I thought I was gonna love this house based off the exterior… I did not. Coming in you got 3 different wood flooring going on. Way too much wood throughout the house. Then as another commenter made, the style is not consistent. I feel like if you hired an interior designer they’ll have to acquiesce to the rooms and bathrooms. i.e. light fixtures mounted on the walls gives hotel vibes @ 11:27 Then they put carpet on the top floor, not sure if it’s to absorb the sound? Wish they kept more of a blank palette to allow someone to put their own stamp on the home.
This is a very nice house, but I would only pay $3 Million for it. Also, do they have a Contractor that comes in during the Winter months to plow snow and put down salt?🤔
I Think Not 4.6M I Shouldn't Have To Share A Road That Leads To My House With My Neighbor & That's Too Close To The Neighbor...So It'll Be A No For Me🤷🏿♂️
In my opinion, the closets in the primary bedroom are too small, not enough sq footage in the basement and outside space, and TOO close to the neighbors for $4+ Million. And can't say I like the layout of the home.
Man, you had me thrown off. I know it's exciting. But, Please slow down and establish a pattern of going either right to left or left to right. It will cease getting turned around and you won't miss anything.
Lovely proportions, well kept. The wood rail on the banister is FINE. Wow! Some fabulous chandeliers for a change! This house has been beautifully renovated (probably by the owners before the current ones), until the recent owners got to the kitchen. Whoever did that, has NO idea about the period of the house: it looks like a bunch of internet-fueled detail choices, way too many of them. Mishmash. I'd want to tear that "hood" right out: it's a reproduction 18th century kitchen fireplace, totally out of place...and then the glittery accessories, mirrors, a bunch of wood, too much detail on the cabinet doors, too much molding, bling, bling, bling, shiny cabinet pulls and decoration, too fussy, over-detailed, all conflicting. The stove doesn't have enough counter top space, and I'd want more fridge space for fresh vegetables. There's no room for gatherings there. I'd remove the kitchen, and start over, so it's simpler, less busy, is inviting for family and company, and complements the period of the rest of the house. I don't like the grey fake marble fireplace in the front room, either, nor the rock fireplaces; wrong period, and this is not a rustic cabin. I'd want to rip all those out. The most recent owners were evidently all in on greige and internet faves. Why are they mixing warm wood with greige? Greige was an internet fad a few years ago, already dated. That grey color on the interior makes it look like it's raining, and since none of the bathrooms seem to have windows, I find that color depressing, dead. They shoulda got a proper designer, who could steer them away from internet chat choices, and towards elements that are compatible with the rest of the house. A warmer color (like off-white, if a neutral was desired) would have been much more compatible with the warm wood than greige, and enhanced the light coming into the house, especially nice in the winter. Luckily, the most recent owners and their off-period taste didn't destroy the proportions of the home, and what they did do looks superficial, and can easily be re-done. The shower panels might be acrylic, not marble: there's more of this kind of thing out there now, and it's practical. Marble is awful to keep clean in a shower: not recommended at all. Pretty pattern, but very busy. I'd want to know about energy efficiencies before buying this house. It would be horrendous to retro-fit. $4M doesn't sound out of range if it's easy to install heat pumps and solar, and add quality insulation. Very convenient location with lovely street landscaping. It looks quiet, too.
This house is mismatched. 1. Too many flooring design variations and colors. 2. Mismatch design concepts: Modern, traditional, colonial wood shutters, and contemporary style throughout the home. 3. Unnecessary wood cabinet finishes 4. Massive kitchen island that takes up too much kitchen space. 5. Not enough lightening
I watch you every week I love you content but you miss something in every single house dude! The other elevator was on the middle of that floor you was wondering about. Look at every single spot in the house
It is quirky alright, but too quirky and odd in too many places. It has way too many costly, tasteless, trendy, finishes and features that look cheap and are already at the cusp of becoming dated. The owner will be replacing most or all of it 5-10 years from now. The elevator not providing access to all levels is completely unacceptable. What's the point? That's a pretty big needless letdown, since elevators are nice to have, but not a must for most people. If it could not traverse the entire house, it should not have been installed. The layout has no flow throughout the entire house, It looks like a hamster maze, with a warren of rooms on each floor. It simply does not make any spatial sense. The architectural features (especially the fireplaces) are a disjointed mix of "apples, oranges, tomatoes, and potatoes, because the architectural language is a tower of babel. Collectively, it is completely incohesive (old, contemporary, modern, ski lodge). The outdoor patio is great, but having no useable yard is a dealbreaker for a house of this size and class. Maybe the ski lodge upstairs is there because the unusable back yard is really a ski slope. A house this large would most like be for a family with kids that parents would not want to have go tumbling down a hill. Unless the location alone warrants and commands that multi-million dollar asking price, I don't see the value. The house itself is a really big dud.
The floors are absolutely gorgeous! I love this house. I’d love to live in a beautiful house like this.
This would be great for a large family. The elevator is perfect for seniors.
You walked right pass the pocket door in front study or library 17:18 The "Get Out" bedroom
There isn't a "view" really, just woods.
Perfect home. Perfect neighborhood. Perfect video. Imperfect price. But, it’s DC price. High end living.
The tile and the wood work alone is insane in this house
I love this house it’s older/modern lots of character LOVE!!
Lovely home and I really like the kitchen. BUT, too many stairs and no land. Plus the brick drive goes all the way to the house next door while this drive has asphalt. Looks askew not to match.

Now this is how a house for sale should look like. Clean and updated.
This is a gorgeous house for a large family, but a lot of stairs. What generally is the cost of maintaining an elevator? How often does it have to be serviced? And that is so weird, the elevator definitely had a button that said (4).
The floors are beautiful.
This is a beautiful home. I would definitely buy it. The location is great. Yard space is not a lot but less yard work. I was already planning who would go where😂. Thank you for keeping us excited about what's out there, attainable or not. 🙏🏾
That is a really nice house, and I think it will sell soon.
I like this house, not the price!!
❤ beautiful some except no back yard. I think for the price I would build on a large lot.
My only drawback is the shower/tub combos. This house is too classy for them. Other than that, this home is gorgeous!
Absolutely Beautiful I love this home!!!🥰💞
Love that kitchen! Great floor plan. Great view from upstairs. BUT, hate the modern fireplaces. They would go if I bought this house. And, small yard. I wouldn’t mind, but it might be hard on the resale value. I have no idea if the price is right or not.
Nice home. From the upstairs window, there’s possibly a nice little green yard space. Expensive. Thanks for sharing!
I love the outside, bedrooms are beautiful... it's a lot of house for me
Mann...the kids got this house. They don't need a back yard with this big house😊
Beautiful home, SLIGHTLY ODD, more kitchen than you will ever need, has potential! Worth the purchase!
I love the beauty of the house which is why I under why they are asking for more than 4 million but there are so many things I feel I would change that make it a no for me. It's really beautiful and I love the layout, especially the wood work and different texture options throughout the house. You can tell the designer really took their time.
I think it's a great home.
I like the house. love the floors. It is ready to move in, nothing to update which is great.

Beautiful home! Not for elderly people with hip problems 😀
Excellent house!! If buyer has need for lots of space, this is an excellent place to settle in. Very imaginative use of wood and tiles.
Oh how I love that kitchen but just put the sink where it belongs in my book in front of the window
Jonathan, I still have plenty of books. I would love that library! I LOVE the first and second kitchens. It is a perfect family compound. I absolutely love it, but I can't afford it. The only drawback, that the front yard might make up for, is space for a garden.
Nice Home 🏡
GREAT HOME! Just leery of that jagged stone wall in 1/2 bath in the "party" area. People stumble too much after cocktails😆🤔
This house is beautiful!!!!
For that much money 💰 I am going to need some LAND with that!!!🤔🤔🤔
I love the house the only drawback for me is the outdoor living space. I really need a lovely outdoor space. Outdoor entertaining for me is huge. Outdoor cooking, relaxing, covered spaces, pool, hot tubs are my must haves. Other than that, I would purchase it.
That is a pricey and gorgeous neighborhood.
$2.5 mil at most for me
Perfect for a large family!
Every possession I own could fit in that master bedroom.
I remember when it was for sale a few years ago. The new owners made a few changes I see.
Nice use of space. Everyone can gather and retreat to their respective space.
Good looking house. I like it. Not much has to be done.
I love this house it’s so beautiful. I’d buy this house if I could afford the price.😊
I love this house! I would change the kitchen island and perhaps I would have gotten it staged!
Beautiful home. The styling not very consistent. The floor plan is not very open. And at that price I need a little more yard.
Right I love open floor plans. Especially, contemporary modern ones with two story lofted spaces like mine!
That’s a lot of moolah without a lot of land. The home is nice
This is a beautiful home with all boxes checked. It's ready to move into and clean. My offef would be $3.995k.
Hi Jonathan, Happy Holidays to you and your family. No, I would not, too big for me. It nice though.
Love the floors beautiful home. Not my favorite. Lots of space for a big family. Interesting that the elevator does go to the top level.
I love it
I’m in MD and would definitely buy however I would say lack of space for a large gathering would deter me and the amount of stairs although the elevator would help
Need more land for that price.
I had guessed $3.5 million. If I was in the market to purchase that's where I would start.
Beautiful home!
The basement for the kids and the driveway
The kitchen is very lovely, but I am not a fan of the living room’s fireplace. It’s very clean and could be an strong option for a buyer in that market.
People who can’t go up the stairs like me , wouldn’t need to be up on the 4th floor
That’s for the kids - i would need the elevator from the bottom floor to my bedroom
The price sounds right for DC
Beautiful home

It's a stunning house, but as I've always said, for millions, I have to have acreage a NO neighbors.🤣
I like this house. A couple minor changes I would make.
Very nice House
What's with you and showers man 😂😂😂❤
Not for me, someone will love that hill, home I mean.
It's a makeup mirror
Its to close to the neighbors w/ no yard.
It's a beautiful home but no yard
This is a very nice house, but I would only pay $3 Million for it. Also, do they have a Contractor that comes in during the Winter months to plow snow and put down salt?🤔
Too expensive. No!
No it seems a little dark.
I Think Not 4.6M I Shouldn't Have To Share A Road That Leads To My House With My Neighbor & That's Too Close To The Neighbor...So It'll Be A No For Me🤷🏿♂️
I bet the toilets dont take care of #2

Nice but not worth $4.7M
hey
