By far, one of the best houses I’ve seen
Sweet looking place. It needs a big Guest Coat Closet. With a place like that I'm sure you'd have many guest over. I'm thinking that Sitting Room could have a huge Closet put on the blank wall, which would take up where that reading nook is. On the Great Room side you could still have built in Library shelves.
All the Washers and Dryers should be switched to the latest all in one Washer/Dryer units.
Out back I'd want a 27M lap pool, have it covered for year around usage.
Love the Garages. That one for a Motorhome I'd use as my service area. It is deep enough you could put a hoist further in it yet still have room to park a vehicle behind it.
A spot for an Elevator would have to be figured out.

The backyard is awesome. I would have a pickleball court. Not really into volleyball or badmitton. The house is awesome. I would use the RV garage as a workshop/man space. Add some dividers from the rest of the garage.
8200 sq ft and 100 sq ft laundry rooms.
I would hate to know what the heating bill would be in the winter.
OKAY: You're in the office, family room and you need to visit the bathroom-- what do you do? Roller skate? Where are the bathrooms?
That washer and dryer, that dryer was so high I was stumped how someone could reach the buttons! Maybe it was just hard to tell on video but it even looked high for you as well to reach the control buttons on top. Same as that pot filler, Can't believe it was up so high, strange as heck. Very nice home with a lot of thought put into it. But way to big of a home and at 3 million it's good for a big family with some extremely good income. In 1980s 65k got you a big beautiful home 150k you had luxury for that time, crazy how prices have kept climbing and now you could spend your entire retirement on a home like this its crazy!

Must be a regional thing. Lots of people here in Utah have them, it's much safer than an above ground one. And not just for when it gets super windy. You can't fall off them.

This floor plan bothers me. 8000sq ft?? Looks more like 3500-4500. and not a single hallway?? So cramped! When touring a house or looking at the floor plan you dont realize it but dedicated hallways are what makes a home truly elegant

Your obsession with toilets is weird. Electric toilets are most common GO TO HOME DEPOT! No one cares about spice racks! We are interested in the refrigerator and appliance brands, and types of stone finishes. Also sliding tray shelves.
19:54 re: CLOSETS/BATHROOMS- i don't think it's an issue in places with a dry climate like Utah. Where it could lead to problems in more humid areas.

I enjoy these tours but struggle listening to the host. Using “tons” to describe everything from sunlight, seating capacity, and square footage becomes monotonous. Pointing out expensive architectural features as “cool” is also painful.

Houses like this are usually in gated communities with excellent security. If they get robbed, it's probably an inside job by people who are familiar with the properties.
