She didn’t really much have an active role as Trudy Campbell. It was more like she guest starred on the show as she was also working on Community at the time as a series regular. I feel like Community was more of her big break

John Slattery was on ER when it first aired. He played "Tag", a doctor who was dating Juliana Margolies's character.
He's been in tons of shows. He was Gabrielle's second husband in Desperate Housewives. You watch so many movies and shows and he appears.
