You do know these buses cost $1.2 million dollars EACH. Before you complain about a fare hike, visit your local bus dealer or your local subway car dealer (about 2 million each car).

sonic boom episodes 15 new XE60s are on order for the M14 SBS, which launches in two weeks. They are planned to arrive this fall, so this will mean that some of the buses covering the M14 SBS will be units meant to be at Tuskegee Airmen Depot.
After that, there are plans for 500 additional electric buses to be delivered in a few years. BYD, Nova, and others all have a stake here. By 2040, we will be all electric.

I love the Catalyst but the Xcelsiors are better for New York City for multiple reasons.

I didn’t like how they got rid of more seats that were in the comfortable higher position compared to the front though.

If these buses are being charged with electricity from coal burning power plants, then they are not green. And lets see how people love them when they have to wait a long time because the bus needs to charge.

made from balsa wood impregnated with resin covered in fiber glass. Just like the corvette chassis. Extremely strong and lighter than steel.

The initial investment is going to be expensive...as time goes on and more buses are ordered, prices will come down.
