Alright so yes this is unfair however the way the MTA evaluates ridership is by paid fares. If the bus stops at a certain stop and they don’t see the ridership is enough to stop the bus guess what’s gonna happen? On paper it shows as the bus stop has very low ridership but it’s because people don’t pay the fare even though hundreds of people can use that stop daily if no one is paying they are going to go based in that data.
They need to cut some stops in the heart of Manhattan with so much accessibility to the subways..
