Nobody seems to understand why Gus said that. He wanted Walter to come working for him from his own free will. Yes, the fear of Cartel would've forced him to work for Gus eitherway, but since Gus planned to wipe out Cartel in the near future, Walt would've stopped right when the news came out that he was no longer in danger. And that would've been bad for the business. But it doesn't mean that Gus had anything against using fear to motivate his enemies and allies. Yeah, I think that he does that because he wants to scare his opponents left alive (in this case Nacho, in Breaking Bad he did it with Walt and Jesse, Walt even shitted himself when Gus killed Victor with the box cutter), showing that he can do that to them or their families as well because he's a sociopath and they cannot afford to underestimate him and his men

It's crazy to think BCS was initially going to be a light-hearted accompaniment to Breaking Bad. It probably was less "extreme" than BB in the first two seasons but Jesus....this is probably the most outright brutal death in the whole BB universe.
@@person92906 no way dude what u talking about. this thing is literally one of the worst days someone could die. even worse than burning alive, or getting curb stomped.
This, ‘Chicanery’, Tuco defending his Abuelita, Lalo going full Rambo, Kim confronting Lalo are some of my favourites. Howard and ‘these are not my prostitutes, my prostitutes are taller’ is my favourite funny moment
One of the most truly nightmarish ways to die IMO. Not only is having a bag placed over your head and left to suffocate a slow and painful death, but there's something uniquely dehumanizing about not being allowed a face the bag covers during your death. Truly Gus at his most brutal.
I loved Breaking Bad but when you see the intricate backstories of Gus and Mike, it almost makes it completely unbelievable that Walt was able to get the upper hand on both of them. Gus was a hardened criminal years before Walt started and was equally as smart. And Mike was a former cop that did all kinds of badass things much like Gus did. Even if Walt was smarter, it still seems highly unlikely he could kill both of them.
Walter was a man who was easily underestimated, but had a huge ego, years of pent-up anger (due to being just a high school teacher while his partners at Grey Matter became rich) and nothing left to lose due to the cancer. He was a whirlwind of death and destruction that wrecked everything that came in his path.
Their biggest mistake was that they underestimated Walter. They never once thought Walter could take them down which he very well could, if they did not make that mistake then Walter would never have gotten the upper hand
In fairness to Gus and Mike, if you were in their position and accomplished as much as they had, you would have underestimated Walter too. I mean the guy started off as a chemical teacher and a very small time dealer to make ends meet. I wouldn't have seen him as a threat either.
Mike lost everything at that point and never really cared about dying and certainly would have for the names of his guys. Gus was blinded by the DEA closing in on him to remind himself that Hector would never snitch. It makes perfect sense.
After watching Better call saul you get to realize how tenaciously clever Gus, hector and other characters like Mike were. But you couldn’t stop to marvel that Walt took them all out.Walt was a true genius, extinguished in his prime.
Walt was just very lucky. Without luck and a big ego he would have gotten no where. In real life he would have been killed many times lmao. With Tuco. In the RV in teh desert. Walter is just an egoistic shitbag. One of the best series ever though. Acting was phenomenal
I love how this is the one time we ever see Tyrus break character. Look at his face at 1:25. He's almost smirking when Arturo says he's the one giving the orders, like he's thinking, "That's just adorable.".
Gus was a very hands-on boss in both aspects of his business, the legal one and the illegal one, and that’s probably one he garnered so much respect from both his friends and foes.
Jessica Garcia - Yes Ikr! Walt kinda looks, speaks and acts like Hal Wilkerson from Malcom in the Middle, and I can't put my finger on why but I'm not complaining about it. I guess he's just got that vibe.
I have watched this show 3 times already, but just being watching clips of it. Seeing these clips makes me wanna watch it all over again. Can't wait for Season 6, though I wish it wouldn't end. It's so good!
I love watching scenes like this from Better Call Saul with such dangerous characters like Gus, Hector, Mike and Tyrus etc knowing that they all meet their end because of one man...Walter White.
Speaking “you are mine” is way way way way wayyy more stronger and powerful than “I own you”, so glad that he said that, and he truly and easily sent the message with those hidden anger, I love Gus so much as my favourite actor
And this is why Gus Fring was the New Mexico's criminal emperor. There was no one who could match his intellect or ruthlessness. And to think that Walter really managed to surpass him in both aspects.
One thing I love about this show is the sound engineering. Everything you hear from the footsteps to the ruffling with the duffel bag is total ear candy 😋
I think moments like these are what gives Gus relief from his built-in anger, allowing him to be able to appear as an upright civilian in public.
He probably got a stress meter and doing things like this reduced it xD

@@weirdshibainu It's a very important point though, and continuously reinforced in a variety of ways. You meet young men who think the game will bring them fast money and status and excitement, and beat the hell out of a regular job like the "little people" grind away at. And maybe it does, for a while. But the stress is off the charts, and they often wind up in jail or prison, which is a whole other level of anguish. Or dead.
The Wire does the same thing.
Like Don Eladio told nacho
Basically
You'll always be looking over your shoulder no matter how high you climb in this business.
I really feel bad for Arturo, every time he tries to assert his dominance, it will be someone who is bigger than him or the situation that he does it in a wrong time, even when he appears in the first time, we saw him try to talk an threatening Mike which fail miserably. Second one that he block the exit of Los Pollos Hermanos, he tries to act big by blocking the women and children until Nacho sending the “wtf are you doing” signal. Then the hospital one that he talk with Hector about the situation of the gang, the twins and Nacho are taking our attention from him. Until this last scene, he gets big off by taking six package that succeed, but in exchange of his life by Gus. Give Arturo a break man!!!
Well if you put it that way
The Benny Fazio of BCS
To make it even worse for him, his body is put in a car, taken to a remote part of the desert road, peppered with bullets by Victor and Tyrus, some of which also hit his body, then when the twins find them, they set the car and his corpse on fire.

I have watched a lot of death scenes in shows, breaking bad, better call saul, sopranos etc but this is the most terrifying I have ever seen. Only time it’s been hard to watch for me
Dude just watch Oberyn death in game of thrones ^^'
Guitaristmalakian No thanks dummy
@@Guitaristmalakian that's completely different it's just gore it has no emotion, compared to seeing some one slowly die while his freind watches him take his last breath and gus just stands there.
@@HaYouGotRekTed Ok for the friend thing, but I don't agree at all with "the gore with no emotion". This character is build up to get revenge all season, he helps a good guy, even almost win the fight and gets his eyes squished and his head crushed while crying like a baby. It has emotions, you just don't like it ^^
@@Guitaristmalakian I've watched game of thrones 3 times and did enjoy the show, but it has nothing to do with what shows I prefer it's just that a guy getting his eyes crushed doesn't give much emotion because it doesn't seem realistic. a guy gasping for air and shaking while everyone watches him slowly die is alot more sad, since its actually somthing that happens alot in gangs and drug violence irl.
Somebody having the head squashed like a watermelon dosent have the Erie realistic feel to it.
I just realized at 3:32 that Victor turned the victim’s body so Nacho could see his comrade’s face as he struggles helplessly. He will remember that desperate, scared look the rest of his life.
Welp, it's official, we've got 2 Farcry Villains in the same scene of Better Call Saul

Gus to vaas in this scene: Stay out of my territory

Fun fact about this scene:
Giancarlo espositio was specifically told by Vince giligan to express how he feels Gus should be acted meaning he had the freedom to kill the actor of Arturo on set! Brilliant work from the crew.

If there was an actual Valentine's Day card with Giancarlo Esposito on the cover and the inside saying this, I would totally buy it.
Glad Nacho is alive

This just goes to show you why Gus Fring is quite possibly the greatest TV villain of all time. He never loses his composure, he’s extremely intelligent, and he’s always one step ahead of you. Plus, there’s nothing he won’t do to defeat you. “Long Live Gus.”
One of the coolest things about this scene is the way Victor throws the 6th key onto the table, and it just stops at the edge
He must have been a champion Chinese football player
1:35 nacho gonna tell them the definition of insanity
Not as much as Gus made him feel the definition of fear at 3:45
It's crazy to think BCS was initially going to be a light-hearted accompaniment to Breaking Bad. It probably was less "extreme" than BB in the first two seasons but Jesus....this is probably the most outright brutal death in the whole BB universe.

True. Also a great scene in the desert (s1e2) with Saul, Tuco, Nacho and two brothers. And in the house of "abuellita" before.
Crazy how Chuck and this scene looks like it came out of a different show
Probably Lalos "tell me again " scene is #1 now 🤔

This, ‘Chicanery’, Tuco defending his Abuelita, Lalo going full Rambo, Kim confronting Lalo are some of my favourites.
Howard and ‘these are not my prostitutes, my prostitutes are taller’ is my favourite funny moment
One of the most truly nightmarish ways to die IMO. Not only is having a bag placed over your head and left to suffocate a slow and painful death, but there's something uniquely dehumanizing about not being allowed a face the bag covers during your death. Truly Gus at his most brutal.
What?
I loved Breaking Bad but when you see the intricate backstories of Gus and Mike, it almost makes it completely unbelievable that Walt was able to get the upper hand on both of them. Gus was a hardened criminal years before Walt started and was equally as smart. And Mike was a former cop that did all kinds of badass things much like Gus did. Even if Walt was smarter, it still seems highly unlikely he could kill both of them.
Mike, Gus, everyone Walt took down, they all made 1 mistake, they underestimated him
Walter was a man who was easily underestimated, but had a huge ego, years of pent-up anger (due to being just a high school teacher while his partners at Grey Matter became rich) and nothing left to lose due to the cancer.
Plot armor, he got lucky
I dunno, I still see him winning against Mike of all people more as mc privilege
genius in chemistry? sure. Street smart genius? lmao not even close, more like a guy that jumped head first into the unknown and got lucky .

And I am yours , from this day until the end of my days.
awh dude cool pfp
...once in bed with Gus, that end might be nearer than you'd like
Hard to believe someone so composed and articulate can do such bagging and tagging.
It must have been damn difficult to portray the emotions the actor playing Nacho did. All these without much dialogue. Respect.
I swear to god every actor on this show is amazing. The writing is already great, and the actors never seem to mess up any scenes.
The actor who plays victor also plays Eagle Flies in red dead 2
and Vass in far cry 3
ded that’s not Victor, that’s Nacho.
Muhammad Lee Walt kinda reminds me of the dad that played the dad in Malcolm in the middle! The way he speaks and acts!
Jessica Garcia It reminds him of me too !!
Jessica Garcia - Yes Ikr! Walt kinda looks, speaks and acts like Hal Wilkerson from Malcom in the Middle, and I can't put my finger on why but I'm not complaining about it. I guess he's just got that vibe.
I never thought I'd see Gus look more lethal than he did in the box cutter scene of BB...then this happens!!
I always laugh at how nacho let him stretch to grab the bag, like he could’ve at least lifted his arm a bit😂
And they did that line (idk if the whole last scene) in just one take.
Giancarlo Esposito is an amazing actor indeed.
Gus looks like a horror movie character standing in shadows. Nightmare on Fring's Street
How about nightmare at pollos hermanos
I have watched this show 3 times already, but just being watching clips of it. Seeing these clips makes me wanna watch it all over again.
Can't wait for Season 6, though I wish it wouldn't end. It's so good!
"from now on.. YOU ARE MINE" I wonder if anyone every tried this line for proposal
I love watching scenes like this from Better Call Saul with such dangerous characters like Gus, Hector, Mike and Tyrus etc knowing that they all meet their end because of one man...Walter White.
Walt didn't cause Hector's death, Hector caused Hector's death
This reminds me so much of Box Cutter.
Such a amazing scene.
"You gonna bag me up or what?"
"Nah we got another guy for that"
"What?"
"What?"
Speaking “you are mine” is way way way way wayyy more stronger and powerful than “I own you”, so glad that he said that, and he truly and easily sent the message with those hidden anger, I love Gus so much as my favourite actor
Sucks that this was, essentially, a death sentence for Nacho now.
And this is why Gus Fring was the New Mexico's criminal emperor. There was no one who could match his intellect or ruthlessness.
And to think that Walter really managed to surpass him in both aspects.
He only killed him, he didn't surpass him
"Just cause you killed Jesse James... don't make you Jesse James."
I love how Victor is there just helping Gus, not realizing Gus will basically do the same to him later on.
1:49 *Your teacher when you're on your phone during class*

One thing I love about this show is the sound engineering. Everything you hear from the footsteps to the ruffling with the duffel bag is total ear candy 😋
2:35 I love how Nacho makes the 'tough guy' ('yeah, that's what I thought') reach for the bag, make him realise who really got the authority.
"did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?"
This is the scene where Nacho died, he just didn't knew it yet.
Nacho’s partner really thought He did something here 💀💀
Gus sounded so badass when he said “look at me, from now on you are mine”
