I personally prefer the European trucks with the cab over engine. But this one looks very nice. Great video! Liked it. Thanks

I drove cabovers for years. Didn't like sitting on top of the steering axle. Conventionals much better ride

I have the freightliner and thinking of trading for a Kenworth. My freightliner is a 2020. It also has the optimized idle option. It’s great. I live in my trucks. No house, no apartment. I turn on the optímized idle always. If you watch tv, use the microwave any other electronic in the truck you don’t have to worry about draining the battery. Optímized idle has two options. Comfort mode and battery mode. Battery mode the truck will automatically cut on when the battery falls below 12v and stays on until the battery is recharged. Comfort mode the truck cuts on when the cab cools or heats outside the chosen temperature range Cuts back off when the cab is back within temperature range.

Эх, были раньше времена - железо было железным, деревья были большими, Freightliner сверкали блеском стали и высотой выхлопных труб. Сейчас Freightliner превратился в Actros с капотом.

I'm kinda confused by American truck interiors. In the back they are better equipped than most RVs/caravans I've seen but their dashboards look like they haven't been updated in the last 20 years

You're comparing U.S Sleepers to E.U RVs/caravans, and it's fair to say a lot of U.S RVs and "Travel Trailers" are better equipped than the Cascadia Sleeper. Also, dashboards aren't being updated frequently because truck drivers (Truckers) aren't wanting a new digital dashboard that much.

In America, trucks are equipped with electronic logbook tablet from different brands based on trucking companies' preference. So nobody wants a fancy touch screen like in the European trucks.

The 2023 Cascadia, T680, 529, etc all offer digital instrumentation. But yes, most commercial drivers don’t care for digital dashes.

Automated transmission is the worst idea they could have implemented. I’m so sick of this lurching POS that I’m getting rid of it as soon as possible.

It's such a horrible design truck!! Only thing nice is something much better. Other brand trucks can also be brought with if the buyer chooses, which is inside customization. Backing feels like I'd roll off somewhere I'm not trying to go once it stops all that gag, and going back feels like I'm about to flip while it starts back gagging into a jerking frenzy. Optimize idle is utterly pointless as the key has to be in the on position to optimize idle meaning the truck doesn't stay warm while the driver goes to shower or eat. The 22 sleeper cab doesn't have inside lock buttons to hit when driver hops out to be away from the truck so they have to lock both doors individually ("or was my company that cheap they didn't order that extra button?")("or did freightliner expect the company to pay for that lock unlock button?" Either or both should be ashamed) big cabinet that doesn't have shelves nor drawers to sit clothes on or keep things divided. Microwave and refrigerator lock ties are a joke they don't apply enough pressure to tightly hold the two down in place without sliding or moving! Driving the lane assist wants to drive the driver with over steering off and on, causing lane overtaking. Windows are pointless as drivers deserve more sunlight and privacy in the sleeper berth if choosing without having to get out of the truck or open their privacy current. I'll take my international over freightliner any day
