It's is good to see how you do that... thanks for the demo. The high gloss sure has a different look but your work is super-real and gloss always looks good with photos for sure I think. I like a matte look for my art and I don't know why really. But I am flexible to try new things. (I bought tubes for mailing already, so I won't be attempting the texture fixative unless I switch to flat mailers.).
Oh wow! Thank you for this. Those colors popped even more
Your work is amazing!
She is gorgeous!

ps
it almost looks like you put a 2 part epoxy as a final coat.
Thank you! I never would have thought to do this to a CP piece. Beautiful baby and terrific work, BTW, also love your little dog.
Awesome work!
Thank you, Chris!!
I've been waiting for you to post this. Really good to see how you varnish your sanded paper work. Everything looks even better with a gloss finish :)
Ya, I sort of forgot it was set to ‘Private’. I agree, the varnish really restores the values and colors.
So excited to try this! Could I use this method over panpastel on pastelmat if I fix it well?🤗

How did I never see this video.... stupid RUclips.
Edit: Ah, didn't notice it was unlisted. That explains it.
I think I’ll make it public...I’ve shared the link so many time to those asking about varnishing.
