Good info. I’m looking into an art projects since I’ve been injured and dragging my oils or heavy box of pastels.havent played with colored pencils in many years.
Oh no! It is only ever a piece of paper & there is usually another way around a problem. Thankfully this worked perfectly so I did not have to find a PLan B
Excellent. I just saw another artist mix what you used directly with titanium white powder, but I felt it was too bright white. I think your approach was much better. I'm a new follower. (:
The touch-up texture saved me recently with a child portrait commission. I find that if I mix it with the CP Titanium White Powder it can sometimes flake off. Getting the right balance of touch up texture and the titanium white can be tricky. Would it be possible to use acrylic paint with a finely pointed brush to add these tiny details if you've lost the surface tooth? Have you ever tried that?
Gloria Pinsker Portraits I thought about that question too! But you never received a response. Did you ever try using the acrylic? I guess I’m just going to have to suck it up and try it myself. 😀
@@peaches5712 no, I managed to finish it without the acrylic paint but it was last year so I don't exactly remember what I did. To be honest, I prefer acrylic or pastel rather than CP, or pan pastel as a base with colored pencil accents. CP is too tedious for me. I like blendable media, so I will use CP with solvent but using it alone just doesn't appeal to me that much.
@@AnimalArtbyLAW I don't think that it poses a health hazard. It's like batteries, they are not allowed to be shipped by air from outside eu. I think there is something inside that might cause fire, so they can't risk it.
I feel like these fine details would be virtually unnoticeable to an untrained eye on art.........but you would know, and it would bug you, thats every artist's problem. A piece is never really done
This is so helpful in real time. Thank you so much.👏👏👏
Your picture is outstanding! I can only dream to have such talent! 😊
Lisa your horse looks amazing, with so much details, is beautiful!!!❣❣❣

Lol! Thank you! I also trained as a nail tech over the years so they are always prettied up. In fact they are now pink with sparkles :)
Beautiful. Much better touch up then with titanium white
Very brave.. I would have been scared to ruin such a beautiful detailed piece :)

I have been trying to get hold of this product for a year now. It is impossible to get it shipped by air. Anyone know of a way to get it?
I would suggest contacting Alyona at Brush & Pencil direct to ask her as she would know best
@@AnimalArtbyLAW Apparently the content of the bottle has something dangerous inside and Jackson's Art can't ship it by air, and i live in an island.
@@gallahant hmmm. Makes me worry about what is inside that is so dangerous...

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but whenever I try to draw over this product it just scratches off.
Are you giving it a really good shake to mix it up? I shake for a good 30 seconds or more
