I can't believe the time has finally come! Allen and I decided to rescue and adopt an 8-week old german shepherd, Australian shepherd mixed puppy! in this vlog I'm prepping and picking up our new puppy Pluto as well as spending the first 24 hours at home. thank you always for the support xx

Oh girl. We have a German Shepherd and a husky and our GSD is way more vocal. But they all have their own personality for sure. He is such sweet little guy! ❤❤❤

Fellow Dog mom here , hydrate the kibble , it’s great for your puppy. I just use water or homemade bone broth.

German Shepherds are vocal lol my baby girl is very vocal I’ve seen so many videos of playful/ vocal Shepherds. My girl was also good in her puppy era. I have a Golden coated Shepherd I got her 8 weeks old she isn’t now 7 months old
Yup! My girl is part german shepherd and she's vocal too, especially when she's bored 😆 mine turns 3 yrs old in September. I got her when she was 3 months old 💛

Be careful with his collar when you put him in the crate especially if you leave him alone! Definitely recommend taking it off!

He looks German Shepherd. I have a working line German Shepherd. GSD are vocal and can be whiny. However, they usually only bark for a reason. And they are very bitey/mouthy. They are known as land sharks. lol

I have a German Shepard and he is LOUD and when he was a puppy he nipped. German Shepard also nip because they are herding dogs, hope this helps!!
Oh my goodness!!!!!! Soooooo sweet!!! I’d love to adopt a puppy, but I have health issues, don’t have a yard and have never trained a puppy and need to research tons first.

My dog recently died but I definitely recommend feeding him farmers dog! It made my dog so happy! It’s a little pricey but it keeps them in shape and such!
we've had him on puppy science diet and he loves it!! but will definitely keep that brand in mind for when we move to adult food

He is definitely a German shepherd mix…maybe mix with golden retriever or Labrador probably not a husky bc then he would start howling and acting all dramatic😂😂 I have 6 dogs so I have a lot of experience I have a 2 German shepherd, golden retriever, husky, Labrador, and a pit bull mix
He definitely is very dramatic actually haha and vocal as well as has the curly tail of husky traits but we’re thinking he’s an elkhound mix!

How does he do when you put him down in his kennel right away to go to bed? My puppy whines for awhile before falling asleep.
other than having the runs, he's been amazing for sleep, he just cries when he wants to wake up which is usually around 5am 🥲

he's a rescue, so they really have no clue and are just guessing! But likely some sort of shepherd mix including both

Congratulations take out every 30 minutes to do there business. Also watch the stuffed toys the stuff in side isn't the greatest for them. N it's never to early to start training.
May I recommend an Embark DNA test? I look at him and all I see is German Shepherd not Australian Shepherd
we don't really care that much to pay for a DNA test, we love him all the same!
