Eamon and I have been lucky enough to travel to Mexico in our van since 2018 and we've always been so sad to see the struggling stray dogs and puppies on the streets. We even fostered a sick puppy from Baja in 2019 and drove him back up to Canada where he's happily lived in his furever home for the last 4 years. So, when we met Alex and he said it was his dream to start a dog rescue here in Baja we knew we needed to help! 🐶 🐕 🐩

The dog shelter is not upsetting. What boggles my mind is that outsiders think it’s okay to come in and establish themselves and not care about the consequences. I was thrilled even donated because Mexico needs dogs shelters but when I saw overnight oats were prices at 170 I found that upsetting. How are you going to charge 170 pesos when daily min wage is 200 pesos. I get it if you can’t afford it don’t buy there but that’s what is making Mexico as expensive as in the US. 170 pesos is close to $10 in Mexico?! Come on.
I got fired for needing a night off to bury my dog in January. My boss said dogs aren't human and I shouldn't care.
Some people just simply aren't human.

I work at a homeless shelter for kids, and I love what you guys are doing for the doggies. Everyone has their calling. Pick one. There are many. Not everyone has to do what I do, and I don't have to rescue puppies. Just do good!

Girl! Do not listen to all of the negatives because there will always be those out there that try to tear you down. In helping the puppies you are helping those that cannot help themselves, if other people cannot see that then that says A LOT the type of human beings they are. The people telling you you should “care more for people” or whatever are the ones who could be doing something to help people themselves. This is so awesome what you guys are doing , such a need to help the dogs in MX. ❤️
EXACTLY. They can't solve every problem in every factor of life. They have a passion for animals and this is something they feel they can do! I'm sure with Bec's medical journey this past year, they have also done things to help people who were going through similar things. Anything you can do is great! I'm so happy to see you making a difference for these poor innocent animals.
I love what you guys are doing. Unfortunately, I have seen some people (not you guys). Bond with animals such as the family pet, while at the same time being neglectful and or abusive to the people in their lives. That’s hard to watch too, BUT, you don’t fix that problem by neglecting the pets as well!?!?? You guys follow your passion regardless of the naysayers. Stay positive and enjoy life!

I'm born and raised in Oregon. In 2008 I moved to Morelia Michoacan Mexico and lived there for a year over the course of 2 years. One of the hardest things to see was all the emaciated animals that roamed the streets. My husband was able to not be as emotionally involved as I was when seeing this because as he is from Mexico and it was normal for him to see growing up. He would tell me to not touch or feed strays. It was so difficult because I knew feeding them wouldn't fix the long term issue for them, but would for a moment make them feel better. All I wanted was to make them better. Sadly the reality was I didn't have the resources to do much. I love the fact that you guys are helping these animals. Thank you ❤😊❤😊❤😊

My cousin has been working with a charity in Mexico that brings street dogs back to Canada for several years. She flies down to Mexico City to pick up a handful of dogs to bring to Canada to their furever homes a few times a year.

Our daughter was in Cancun on holiday and found a Pup on the beach. She stayed behind to get Pup ready to come back to Canada. Tiamo is living her best life on British Columbia now. She is now 7 years old. Thanks for all you are doing to help these dogs in Mexico.

I watched this just waiting to come for vacation and I thought it was gonna be like your house video but it wasn’t, this made my heart warm up so much ❤😢. When I was on vacation so many dogs were on the street walking around and I could see there bones, when I saw this it made me cry I wish people could be this kind and do this all over the world😊

I can’t believe how anyone can be mad at you for “not helping people”. You guys help people every time you post a video! You always bring up everyone’s moods and give them something so positive to see. You also helped so many woman on your breast cancer journey, seeing how you changed your mindset and was able to get through it was so inspiring to so many people.
You guys are all incredible for what you did for the dogs and this community!!!! Truly blows my mind, it takes a village to accomplish what you are doing for these beautiful puppies to have an incredible and loving life ahead of them!!

My dog is a Mexican rescue. I got him in Cal. He has a lot of trauma but LOVE is the answer. He is such a beautiful, wonderful, smart, silly, happy dog my life would not be full of joy without him. You are a blessing sent straight from LOVE. I have to find his paperwork and find out who you should contact for placing them in homes. Saving them, Love, compassion, and healing their beautiful souls. You got this. The creator LOVES you all always remember LOVE is the most powerful

Not me crying at work. This is amazing and you guys are doing such wonderful things for the community & for these dogs that need the extra love and TLC that they can’t do in their own. I don’t understand how anyone can be mad/upset with you guys. These animals didn’t choose their life and you guys are giving them such a wonderful one.
