Thanks for this series... It's a pity you never completed the series. The GPU tab has 4 graphs open, namely "3D", "Copy", "Video Encode" and "Video Decode". Any of the graphs can be changed to anything else in the drop-down list in the top left corner of the graph. It will be very nice to know what all of them actually report on. Ok, Video Encode/Decode graphs show lots of activity in video playback and rendering. 3D shows sometimes lots of activity during 3D modelling. Copy shows some activity during 3D modelling and Unreal Engine. When I change a graph to "Graphics_1" it generally shows activity in Unreal Engine, but hardly anywhere else. I've been monitoring the GPU graph reports for many months, and I just can not determine what "3D", "Copy" and "Graphics_1" graphs REALLY report. Windows documentation and official video tutorial on Task Manager explain NOTHING, except for what I know, that the GPU graphs report information on GPU usage. If I know WHAT each graph actually reports on, then Task Manager might be more helpful in the GPU division other than just seeing how much GPU Memory is used (which helped me greatly already).
I was curious as to why core #1, not core #0, was more active than the other cores of 6 cores. So buy luck I had the Task manger open in small window rather than full screen, and I was moving my mouse around on the desk top screen. Suddenly that one core only showed 25% ACTIVITY, thus it was the mouse that was confined to using just that one core, for what ever reason.
Going through this video I realized obviously I have 4 cores . BUT my logical processors say 4 aswel, ... Instead of double like you said ? How do I fix this and is this actually effecting my pc ?
Logical processors is threads, so it would mean 4 cores 4 threads. Most mainline cpus have double threads than cores, but some don't. This is normal and won't affect anything.
thanks this helped, I was wondering why my cpu was only at like 10% usage while playing games. Turns out 20 logical processors is a lot and it only uses like 7-8 of them. i5-13600kf btw 14 cores, 5.10ghz is insane
I looked at another guy and I gave logical processor and I did everything you did in the video but now when I change I just overall virtualization to put logical processor back plz help me
Hey There, I was wondering if you could help me with something. Im not a big computer guy, but I noticed that You have GPU 0, and GPU 1 on your task manager tab. I notcied that both of them are running. For some reason when I pull mine up it says that my GPU 1 is working (Like yours), although my GPU "0" is at 0% and isnt moving at all. Is this an issue? Thanks.
Hi I was having the same concern but I worked out that it was because I was using a hdmi to my TV (its my main media device). Once I unpluuged my laptop from hdmi the GPU 0 started working alongside my GPU 1. I'm only guessing, I'm not very educated on this stuff, this happened because the hdmi port in my laptop is connected straight to the GUP 1 for video output. Hope this helps you.
I never even knew this was possible, Thanks.
Thank you for this helpful information.

No one’s gonna read that ☝️
can be shown in 10 sec video

Very helpful! Thank you.
Very interesting - this helps to explain why the laptop I was issued is such a steaming turd..........

yo question i look at my cpu and uh theres a box and i saw a blue color covering the whole big box is that normal?

What if it the option is grayed out(Logical Processers)? It only shows One Core and One Logical Processor.
Hey did you find out? Having the same problem rn
how do you veiw tem of CPU like GPU with out downloading anything to view it only in task manager

@@AClown if you have dedicated gpu. Intergrated gets turn of.
There is a way to enable it specifically for video encoding, this is likely what it is happening here (in the video as well)
jeeze I have 24 cores and 32 processors, didnt even know haha
lol I have 2 cores and 4 processors.
i’m having trouble with my cpu anyone kind enough to help ?
Sure, whats your problem?
Man has 2 gpus
16 core? 🤩 with 2 GPU, Nvidia & Radeon 😀 $1m pc
i have 12 and 24
Thank you
thanks
