Hello. Thanks for this video. Please tell me how you made the celluloid so soft, like a rag? I see that you take large pieces of celluloid, and they are soft as a rag. Is this celluloid first treated with acetone to make it soft?
Bravo and congratulations for everything you do! I have a question: With what kind of solution is the celluloid glued? What is it called? Please tell me!🙏
There are a repairman in Brazil, he have a chanel here on youtube(acordeões ribeiro), your name is Nelson Ribeiro, he make very good job of change the celluloid on accordions and he use the ACETATO DE ETILA to glue the celulloid on the accordion, he says the etila acetate avoid the bublle air.
Hello, thank you, thank you, for the video. What are you using for adhesive for the Celluloid. When you wet sand, try using a couple of drops of dish liquid in the water. Most repair videos aren't in English. Thank You
Thankyou for a good seminar. I have repaired accordion for 45 year in Denmark but I still got small white holes where the celloid is is put together. I use acetone ethylacetat. Is there another product that can do the job ?
Yes, there is! Here in Brazil I use a lot of Isoamyl acetate, very common in the composition of a nail polish diluent, called banana oil, with this product ended the microbubbles that were left after the repair
I enjoyed watching this very much. Thank you everyone for doing this.
