    I love it. This would really suit a horror rpg or pixel horror game. as a castle theme or something :D

      Castlevania would be a perfect fit for this music!

    Thank you for sharing this important piece of information, everyone can benefit from more authentic distorted 8-bit sound
    Most people never think to turn quality down

    I love this song....and i cant believe it...but it almost sounds better like this. Could be the nostalgic nerd in me...idk. Love it though! Glad you posted it!

    why does every single 8-bit version of metal songs always sounds like rpg music to me?

    • @Mevryk
      @Mevryk 9 лет назад +11

      petrifier .r, because its 8-bit

    • @samueledangelo6163
      @samueledangelo6163 5 лет назад +3

      Because Opeth are sooooo atmospherical, plus 8-bit songs give you a sense of nostalgia and here's explained the RPG-game thing.

    • @rehannoor4961

      because most rpg song composed with the mind of classical music.

    in retrospect a lot of heavy metal bands in the 80's could have made a fortune converting their songs to 8 bit and selling them to nintendo, i mean, have you heard rain in blood 8 bit, its pure awesome

    02:34 Feels ;-;

  • @Jarbizu800
    @Jarbizu800 12 лет назад +2

    Interestingly enough, if you turn the quality down to 240p, it sounds even more like the 8-bit music you remember from your NES.

  • @seanpatrick103

    I don't really find. A lot of people associate metal in general with Castlevania but it takes a certain kind of classic gothic style to match Castlevania.
    This definitely could have been the soundtrack for an epic adventure game though.

    This version gave me a great idea: somebody needs to upload a harp cover of the acoustic part! It would be fucking beautiful. I wonder how many RUclipsrs actually own a harp? lol not many I'd assume.
    On a side note, I wanna do a ytpmv of this song when I get a little better at pooping. Any suggestions for sources? XD

    I was going to open this to say that 8 bit versions of songs are gay and annoying.
    But I heard the first two chords and I like it actually.
