So much washi tape!! I love the skinny ones, they're so useful for making patterns in a sketchbook, and that's also a really great idea for making swatch/mixing charts with them. Your chart looks really great. That's really awesome receiving handmade paints - they're always so fascinating to use! The indigo and caput mortuum look particularly gorgeous. A lovely palette of colours overall. I need to use a flat brush some more because you made it look like so much fun. The car crash painting looks so cool! What a generous viewer; fan mail is the best. ❤

What beautiful colors I think the blue and green washi tape are Van Gogh paintings but not sure….Lol the bloopers was fun to watch, always makes me smile.

What a thoughtful thing for someone to pass on to you that they weren't using! Those colors so look gorgeous. I love my caput mortum colored pencils but never though about getting it as a watercolor...I may have to look into that, would look beautiful in animal paintings :)
Caput mortuum was the first color I ever used up, but the set didn't have pigment information or even color names. I thought it must have been burnt sienna, bought a tube of that and was incredibly disappointed. No brown compares to caput mortuum in my opinion. The only downside is the opacity but you can get more transparent versions from some brands.
@@RamoArt oh are there any brands you would recommend for it? I use M Graham, Winsor and Newton professional and Daniel Smith mostly, but I’m open to trying other brands ☺️
I've used Caput Mortuum from my Roman Szmal set and it was really nice. Now I have this handmade version and one from Daniel Smith that Diane gifted me. So lovely! Yes, I can see it being a useful color in animal paintings for sure.
Yes, that was something I was going to mention in this video is that it said it was transparent, but it's definitely not. Such a pretty color, though.

ive heard others say the butterfly reminds them of loved ones ,i love your paints ,i got an inexspensive watercolor set by nicpro i made 2 small tin pallettes they didnt crack and i love them i got 8 brushes and 25 small sheets of watercolor paper the paints are awsome

Miranda We were taught in the spiritual church that angels come disguised as butterflies and that our loved ones send them when we need them most also when I'm down I ask for angels to come to me and I get feathers everytime

Awesome painting! I wish I was good at painting cars haha they’re hard enough to draw with pen and ink 😂 It was really nice of that person to send the paints and washi to you tho, handmade ones are hecka expensive! Also Soliloquy is a term in English (means to monologue) and is pronounced Suh•lil•uh•kwee ;3
Thank you! I was reading the brand name from the letter. It was only after I looked it up later to get the Etsy link that I realized the typo in the letter. So yes, you're absolutely right; it's Soliloquy. :-)
Hey this is interesting, so generous! You seem to enjoy it alot, looking forward to the lightfastness test. The butterfly thing you mentioned, I also believe in that, after my dog died, a butterfly suddenly appear infront of our gate where our dog used to be, and the same thing happened when my grandmother died, they really are watching over us and the butterfly seems to be their way of telling us they're okay, it's nice to know someone who believes in that like I do (＾▽＾)

I meant to ask this last time but have you added the 3 Daniel smith colors from the palette packs box in your window for lightfast testing yet?
Yes, they are in there and they come out the 26th of this month for their 6-month check-up. I'll have that for you guys in a video on July 27th. :-)
