Gorgeous 😍😍. Proudly South African here. The koeksister is a traditional South African sweet dish. Part of our heritage... Glad to see you made it exactly how it should be made.. ❤
Shut the front door! 🚪😲 That turned out stunning , Julie ! My gosh the colors are amazing!! ❤❤❤ A new favorite!! And your goodies made me drool! 🤤 They look scrumptious! Have a great day!
Hey Julie! Wow, that bloom is absolutely gorgeous, the color combination is stunning. This has to go on my all time favorites list... Bravo!! It's about 11:00 pm here and seeing your koeksister's has me wanting a sweet and sticky midnight snack.😁😜 They look delicious...yum!😋 Big hugs from Texas!!🤗😍
Just started my resin journey and couldn’t believe my eyes when you whipped up some Koeksusters!!! As a South African living in Texas I miss those delicious treats so much! Thank you for all your wonderful information!
That is breathtaking!! I would pay fairly serious money for such a beautiful piece of work!! WOW There simply are not words to express Your incredible talent. Thank You for sharing Your varied mad artistic skills with us! 😍
What a beautiful result! I would strongly recommend however that you do not put resin in your microwave. The resin might be out-gassing. The standard suggestion for cold resin is to put the bottles in warm water. Might take a little longer but it won't poison you.
A friend of mine told me about you ane your page. Im new to resin making for the most part. About 4 months and just started exploring with Bloom & and that's been lovely- just watching this video I've learned some stuff! Thank you for sharing and giving some helpful advice on how to use this bloom stuff!
I had to watch 🤗 again because I knew how beautiful this one was, I even remembered the color of the back before you said it 😂, it's so pretty, one of my favorites of yours, Thank you again you are a delight to watch 🫂💖🙏🌟
😮😮❤❤ oh Julie that flower came out beautiful. If you ask me, I would say that that is your best one to date. Oh my gosh, it’s breathtaking Can’t wait to see what you do with that move next I just loved it. Well I still love it anyway this is Sandra from California and you have a good weekend.😊😊😊
Stunning! I've been wanting to do resin for quite some time now and I'm so grateful I've found your videos. You explain things so well and I can't wait to try this!! I love it ❤ have a beautiful day, Julie 😊
They are made from a dough that is plaited, then deep fried in oil till cooked. While still hot They are put into a cold 🥶 syrup for a bit then drained and EATEN. Yummy Delicious. They are a traditional sweet dish from South Africa.
I HEARD YOU SAY KOEKSISTERS! I am so excited! I am originally from South Africa, and so happy to hear about someone making those, they are my favourite! 💝
I showed this video to my hubby and he said it's gorgeous honey. It's very beautiful, when he saw the very delicious sweet treat he asked what is was and I told him; now he wants to make it. We're from Texas and we're both under the weather and can't really do anything but to stay in doors. Your videos keep me going while I'm getting better. Thank you so much❤
Incredibly gorgeous 😍! I love how you used the split and make it look so easy. Your so awesome Chica!, this came out perfect 🥰. Now, I didn't catch the name of the food you made, but OMG I would love the recipe 😋 😍....it looked so yummy and delicious 😋! Chica you can do it all...keep up the fabulous work you do! ❤🎉😊
It’s gorgeous! I love the edging with it. And the koeksisters look absolutely delicious. I had never heard of them and had to Google that of course! Yum! I’ll be right over!
This is the best bloom I've ever seen you do! I want to purchase the same mold and try to make some blooms myself. You have inspired me to try blooms.❤
I'd love to see your process of making the pastries! I know you said it's an all-day process, so maybe just short snippets? They look just wicked good! ♥ I used to make Spanikopitas (cheese/spinach-filled phyllo dough triangles), another ALL-DAY commitment, but so worth it!
I have a Nova too, she's very vocal, lol. OMG, Koeksisters (yes I had to figure out what you were saying and what they were), yes please. They look amazing! Beautiful bloom. Love, love, love the colors! xoxoxoxooxo
Of course I thought I'd heard you wrong, I couldn't imagine anything called cooksisters, thankfully popping that spelliing in Google brought up the correct spelling and, wow. Yum. Unfortunately I live alone, so I'll probably never make them. But they do look yummy. Just like your flower ended up. At first I wasn't sure about all those stripes, but they blended to make a beautiful flower
Beautiful love the bloom...... Koeksisters YES here in South Africa we make it regularly birthdays weddings all holidays even funerals you can be sure their will be koeksisters I like to not braid it so tight they then suck up more surrip 😊
I LOVE BLOOMS!!! This is stunning. Seriously beautiful. I've mentioned this before. It's so odd for me to think y'all are in winter. It's August in Texas. The most blazing hot month of the year. Cannot wait until September when the beginning of fall begins and we get some relief!!
