I’ve wanted to do this forever, thank you!! Honestly, anyone should learn this, whether they are athletic or not. It only takes one fall to permanently damage your body.
true
Me using these for tripping over
I have brake my arms 3 times because I don't now this
That's a great video.
If I damage myself, then I can miss so many things.... My training sessions and a lot of things.
It is a fantastic topic.
Lmao
I love this. Ive always wondered why we dont learn how to fall properly when we were kids! It causes more and more damage as you get older. Imagine if old people knew how to fall safely, and kept up on that skill! There would be a hell of a lot less broken bones and hip replacements! But even younger adults often break bones trying to "break their fall" instead of roll out of it. And most could be avoided by simply learning how to fall properly,. Even if you have no interest in parkour, its a life skill!
Now I don't need to scream like Goku every time I fail
You definitely still should. It helps increase your power levels
@@jessecapra2350 Ong tho keep doing it till u go ssjb
Broke my legs twice in a row skateboarding, guess now it's time to learn how to fall, lol
Time to give up scateboarding and stay home
Did they put like plates and screws when you broke it?
@@nin9528 nope, but still I couldn't skate for like 2 and 6 months
@@nin9528 coming home from a skatepark right now) It was worth it🤟
:bro what the hell you doin
*uh learning how to fall
I’ve been watching your vids since the 6th grade, now Im Going into my senior year of high school. Keep up the good work! 😄
That's awesome! Crazy how long it's been!
Finally a video explaining how to practice ukemi
Haha I've definitely had my share of bad parkour bails, and I've noticed that simply being in shape and conditioned for impact helps tremendously to not be injured.
I'm so glad you're back with awesome videos!!
Keep up the great parkour content! :D
Thanks! I've been looking for a way to safely bail with a lot of forward momentum. The tips for the forward roll should help me
Brilliant, the best ukemi/breakfall video I've seen. Despite having studied ukemi in martial arts, I still fractured my wrist after slipping on ice, because the fall happened really fast and I couldn't react in time, as the ukemi was not part of my muscle memory. It was also unlike what I normally trained (momentum forwards, falling on the back). Frequent practice in a variety of falling situations is key!
Your how to fall video from years ago kept me from dying so many times 🤙🏻
The dive roll still scares the hell outta me though lol
Love it Ronnie!!! Great channel
1. rolls are very important
2. if u cannot roll at least touch the ground with ur legs to make it easier to roll
3. spread the fall and don't take it on your arm or one shoulder(spread ur body)
4. tuck your chine in your body to protect your head
5. practice the falling
Out of all my martial arts techs, break falls are the ones that I have the most useage of
Nice bro 🤩🙏

This video would’ve been nice back in November I broke both of my wrists when I missed the railing doing a speed vault and there was a 6 foot drop on the other side it also didn’t help that the railing was so high up a literally had to jump into the vault by then already being sideways when my hand would have been at the railing but it didn’t stop me from going back 3 months later and doing it successfully and at least this video is up now to help me prevent future injuries
Edit: That fall actually helped me come to think of it I was so motivated to get back into training again I started doing moves I’ve never done before only seen but
the video is really useful, although the audio quality at points it's really lacking, like whenever there's a lot of wind.
If I were you, I'd record audio separately in a windless environment and just re-upload that, but you know if that's viable or not
"If you're doing parkour, if you're training to be a stunt man, or even if you're just athletic" or, you know, if you're severely clumsy. 😂
this video really helped because im a beginner and i tend to make misakes but im practicing every day and i know i wont get hurt or injured when i make those mistakes if i roll out of it thank you

Good idea
Alright people. Now lets go out there and fall ;)
Work that Ukemi people
Need to be ready for any situation
There are also MMA fighters who incorporate Ukemi into their style of fighting
In case they fall or wanna get out of situations, Ukemi is there to the rescue
Especially in Tekken lol
I have question
While doing a b twist which leg should we extend the jumping leg or the other. Please reply

How to take no fall damage in Minecraft
😄 haha that's great!
Can I just ask why is it when u land on a flat ledge half ur foot is of the edge and u always just barely make it event tho u can make it to the middle?
Helps with slipping. If the whole foot were to land and your feet slips toward your feet would slip off. If u land at the tips and slip more of your foot would just be on top of the wall. It’s also easier to balance that way.
Hlo sir
too late broken my arm doing pk 6 weeks ago
Aha wowoowowww
Very nice sirrrr
Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Keep making great tutorials, I use to have trouble with side vaults and now I'm doing flips! Didn't have to take classes thanks to your amazing content! Been using it for years
Best parkour master
As an athlete whose fractured my collarbone 3 times from falling this will help tremendously
Cool!
Ey my guy, very nostalgic, used to watch u in 2018
Im really training hard for learning this move but i always put my head on the floor.

I appreciate that!
Hi
Damnnn Ronnie ur hairline is receding bro you might want to sort it out m
Lol, it's like what ever dude.
thanks mate. Recently broke my radius near the elbow whilst playing football / soccer (extended arm, fell on my wrist which pumped up the force to my elbow leading to the injury). after a few months I am ready to play again but fear falls because of the injured elbow. This video helped.
I wrecked my ribs, diagphram, and back when I failed a box jump over a tennis net. It took me a month or so to recover and I never ended up going back to parkour because of it. I really wish I had this video so that I could have trained it and rolled out of it when I needed! Thanks for giving me the motivation to get back into the parkour scene!
So cool to find this! I think I'm linked to a lot of your older videos because I'm a beginner, and you were breaking down the sport a while ago now.
Your dad's palm-spins are so effortless and perfect that I'm SO jealous!
But, I also loved that you mentioned Jimmy's more recent falling safely "Ukemi" clip as well, which I had seen. I think you're both excellent teachers and great at the details that we need to know!
Was awesome to see you train and meet u maybe next time I'll be a Lil more talkative but thanks for everything so many people at shant told me and I know I also learned a lot from you thank you from everyone at shant and myself -the kid doing drop pres with long hair
I've been watching your videos for 4 years now. It's Great to see you up and posting again. Keep up the good work!
Superb tutorial/really useful-thanks Ronnie👍
