@@uknasa007 because Jackie chan’s stunts are ballistic, can’t name them off the top of my head but he has metal all over his body because of all his broken bones n stuff In hollywood people would sue for that
I've always thought it was extra amazing and great how many of his own stunts he did in Spiderman when he was in the full suit with the mask on etc. It could be anyone under there and yet he still does it!
He even did one fight scene - in the bar in Uncharted - as a tribute to Jackie Chan. And Jackie responded with thanks and said he'd like to make a movie with Tom.
I've definitely never done something similar to the 100' high swing with my friends after work with a crane and safety harnesses. But if I had done it, risking my NCCCO crane license (which I definitely didn't), it would have felt exactly as insane as you'd think it would.
The Washington monument scene was actually all replaced with cgi including Tom, they only used him climbing for reference for the vfx artists but Tom still did great its just marvel decided to replace it, it would be better if they kept it practical.
I really admire this young man, both for his talent as well as his abilities, but I don’t want him to be another Tom Cruise or Jackie Chan…doing stunts well into his career. He’s a very natural performer.

Tom Holland in Uncharted is perfection. Although I still wish Tom Cruise were in his 40s or 30s and did that film, because he not only is super fit but looks exactly like the character!
A lot of these scenes would've been better if they didn't throw a CGI Spider-Man over him. That has been my only gripe, the CGI suit has noticeable over perfect skin tightness, something that isn't seen when there is no CG and isn't natural anyways.
@@dasik84 but vacuum suits still have parts that don't fit, literally every practical scene shows this. Every other CG thing in the MCU looks hyper realistic, but there has been hiccups like IronMan suits that have recently looked fake since (sort of) Iron Man 3 and Spider-Man has been the worst of it (thank you animation teams that work with Marvel though, you guys are great) have been missing some key elements in realism. A lot of scenes where Peter climbing something or especially in shots with him swinging in the suit or just nearly every scene in Civil War, he looks animated and not biological at all.
@@_yujin_ No, it doesn't. I agree that Iron Man suit and Iron Spider looked horribly plasticly in some scenes. And falling scenes in Black Panther and Shang-Chi looked horribly! BUT - the Homecoming suit looked perfectly fine. You just search for CGI on it to complain. But it really wasn't noticeable.
@@_yujin_ The ferry scene was good. No problems with CGI. The problem in MCU Spider-Man movies is ONLY - and always - the Iron Spider. Especially in the FEAST scene in the beginning of Far From Home.

Always love when the actor does their own stunt! Huge props to Holland!

Eh, he's not too great of a Spider-Man imo. Playing the remastered Spider-Man game made me realize that. Andrew Garfield was the best spiderman.
