I like how this godly Robotnik basically has the same powers as infinite. But does it way better. He actually feels unbeatable and intimidating. Not a shadow wanna be.
Hm. Even has the "Eggman gets rid of Sonic and takes over the world" story too. Is this comic basically just better Sonic Forces?
till the end where he falls for a br'er rabbit, and does everything sonic wants cause he put 'don't' infront of it. I would've just stuck him in a pocket dimension so he would watch time play out for years, break him with years of failure the same way he did to robotnik.
And he’s not weak.
Man, this version of Robotnik is truly villainous. They somehow took the goofy, funny design of AOSTH and _still_ made him diabolical and sadistic.
That's because they used the SatAM cartoon as a basis for this comic in general but used the AOSTH Robotnik design as the character artist preferred it.
It's also why Grimer exists, as the comic wasn't allowed to use characters introduced in the SatAM show due to rights issues so Grimer was created to fill Snively's role.

Kind of like how in Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they used the design of Shredder from the late 80s cartoon (the one where the Shredder was established as a bumbling idiot, yet he was able to throw hands with Batman AND ACTUALLY WIN).
Robotnik: Give up now, and I may go easy on you.
Sonic: No you won’t.
Metalix: No he won’t.
Robotnik: No I won’t.
This comic series has made me realize that Robotnik is on that Sigma grindset 24/7. No sleep. No food. Just constant grinding.

I would like, but keeping it at 69 likes is funny.
This Eggman makes the Sonic Archie comic Eggman and IDW comic Eggman look like college professors. The guy is absolutely evil. An absolute tyrant who ruins the lives of others, for his own benefit.
Despite the fact that this version of Robotnik is very different from the AoStH version, the Long John Baldry voice still fits perfectly for this version when I read in my head!
Could this be the eagerly awaited sequel to The Rise And Fall Of Dr. Robotnik? 🤩

I like how evil eggman is in these comics because nowadays he’s more insane like in a “haha I’m capable of anything way!” But in this he’s insane with power and his obsession with sonic goes over the top with him being obsessed with his pain goes beyond too far. I wish they had this eggman instead of the one we have because I like villains that I can actually hate.
I would agree but also as an Eggman fan, I wish I could have playable Eggman again in the main games instead of only getting it in party games. Tho, not completely hero playable Eggman but… Anti-villain Eggman at best, like SA2.
it's weird seeing this Robotnik, one we grew up laughing at. Cause so much death and destruction, it's very unsettling

"Im gonna count to 100! Then Ill destroy you!" No wonder robotnik ended up as Eggman, he realized that he didn't care about ruling all of mobius. His obsession with beating sonic made it so he just wanted to play hero and villain with sonic.
Ruling the world was great and all, but you can only hear people sing your praise or bow before you in terror so many times before it becomes routine, old. Stale.
An enemy who can find a new way to beat you every single time..? One who has a chance to be taken out, but may just escape at the last second? Now that's thrilling.
Godbotnik, with all that power, still had his most critical flaw: ego.

This version of Dr. Robotnik kinda reminds me of Dr. Doom. Not the honour, but the willpower and genius. Oh and becoming a near omnipotent God.

I wonder if this was based off of that four parter from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog where Robotnik traveled through time to find the Chaos Emeralds and used them to become a god?
I could believe it, given cartoons back then generally didn't do story arcs it was ambitious to do a four-part story in a show that was largely episodic.
That four partner was awesome. I can't help but feel that would've made more sense for a series finale than the story book episode.

And even after I was captured and humiliated by those resistance fools, I still got away! I masterfully manipulated Dracons and used them to my plans! I became a god! Sonic may have robbed me of power, but then I almost destroyed the world twice and killed one of Sonic's closest friends. Plus, do you think that's possible to outsmart and defeat ME so many times? When my empire controlled entire world I was merely toying with resistance, I did let them win here and there but when I took proper action, they were OBLITERATED! I like how you made Robotnik’s meeting with Ko-Dorr, but I got to admit that his Rise and Fall video could’ve been expanded like this video, too. Just saying that it would’ve made for good entertainment.
Would certainly have been possible and perhaps one day in the future I'll revisit it but I think its would be impossible to be one upload when you look at the run time for this video was over an hour covering just 30 issues, rise and fall was 100!

The Sonic Comics turned this goofy egg looking, animal capturing, iconic villain into a sadistic, creepy, rotten, monstrous, sorry excuse for a human being that enjoys the suffering and pain of others that can’t even defend themselves without the help of Sonic.
I’m not sorry or make an excuse for him. What a fantastic version of Dr. Robotnik, Sonic the Hedgehog’s eternally greatest foe/rival.

Robotnik is so round he can roll very easily like easier than it can get he can just curl his arm and legs and just start rolling like cannonbolt from Ben 10

Honestly the Draken Empire sounds like an interesting villain trio to bring back.
I like both sonic comic continuities which are (Archie and fleetway) but the fleetway Robotnik has one up over the Archie Robotnik because he got the opportunity to reaching godhood.
Yeah, as a Robotnik fan, it was a bit sad that Archie’s had only reach godhood when he partnered with Dr. Wily. He was capable of it the whole time but he just never did. Maybe he didn’t view it as necessary till his team up with Wily.

Dang at first I wasn't liking this comic cause Sonic was too much of a jerk and they had done that with Super Sonic, but that story was absolutely fantastic.

Doctor Robotnik is very naïve to think that humiliating Sonic as his way of killing Sonic was going to work. It didn't. If he hated Sonic so much, why didn't he downright kill Sonic in the first place? No wonder he is so gullible.
He wanted to break his spirit. Sonic was the backbone of the freedom fighters. If Robotnik could break Sonic's spirit the would've truly won. He could've killed Sonic at any point, but it wasn't enough.
Dr. Robotnik’s ego. Sonic has never killed Dr. Robotnik but kicks his wide butt all the time. Killing Sonic wouldn’t be enough to even the score. First one to break their spirit between Sonic and Dr. Robotnik truly wins their game.
