I had an Uruk, named "firebelly" who saved me countless times on the battlefield. He has earned my respect, admiration and loyalty - and I repaid his service, by making him overlord. Once the shadow wars started, it all got so chaotic, that I didn't save him once his fortress was taken. I retook that fortress, but never rescued him / installed him as overlord again. A few battles past, and then, as I was defending another fortress - he appeared. Half of his face blown up, his name changed to "faceless". He screamed about how I abondoned him, and how his only wish was to get revenge on me. After our fight ended, and he fell to his knees, he told me with a final breath: "So, this is how it ends. I'm proud that I tried to take your life - this army deserves a true leader to lead them. Not someone like you". I cut off his arms and head. And left his body on that balcony, inside that fortress. But his words.. will hunt me forever.
I Art Laughing He has a point tho, this made me sad. I'd be out for revenge too if i follow you into battle and you leave me to die. Btw, the nemesis system is freaking amazing
Bright Lord, Dark Lord, I see no difference except one actually does something instead of sitting on top of a volcano and sending out his lackies to do stuff
when there is a mass betrayal i just shame them to deranged, recruit them all again and let them fight in the pit, the winner gets a peacefull death by falling
My body guard (something) the gluttonous betrayed me so I shamed him until he went deranged and then he would just mope around crying about how he was so full but he couldn’t stop eating. Lol
I turned my bodyguard into a maniac when he betrayed me. Now there's a big Olog hunting me, and the only thing he says is "opopopop" over and over again
I encountered a dwarf hater, had a rant about how he hated them blah blah, fought him, shamed and deranged him and MAN he became a paranoid dwarf hater, rambling about how they are all tunneling into mordor to steal his things and about how every orc is in league with the filthy sneaking dwarfs
Bazza Scott jesus lord and god, this game is nuts for creating stories. I cant stop imagining a game, where you badically play shadow of war, but instead of setting up a war on sauron, you are badically manipulating a dousen of factions into wars, cold wars or even peace, and you are basically just a puppetmaster in a trategy (or when something ridiculous happends a tratecomedy) of diferent factions, it could be almost like mass effect / shadow of war.
So I had a similar experience. My guy was executed by an enemy captain, came back and betrayed me, I CUT HIM IN HALF, he comes back, I shame him to get him back, which causes him to go deranged, I recruit him back, he betrays me again, I CUT off both his legs and an arm, he comes back, I just killed him again and took the other arm. I kinda hope he just goes to orc heaven. Once he went deranged he would just smile and go "mahp! Mahp! Mahp! Mahp!" I feel bad for Shaka. I hope he's found peace
Feel like Orc heaven would just be a giant prison where the Orcs are in charge of the prison. The prisoners are the humans they killed so they can kill them and torture them for eternity. While drinking grog and fighting each other. Ahh we love you Orcs.
@HurricaneGriz Bolg suffered way longer than a day. "Y'all can go insane with just one bad day. I guess with you it's more like one bad spray." ~ Jerome Valeska
If it gets that bad, they should make it so you end up finding them being bullied by other orcs, trying to defend themselves from physical abuse, cowering in a dark corner, or doing some other mentally deranged thing.
I don't think Mordor could be subdued thru PC nonsense and snowflakes throwing tantrums and whining like preschooler's cuz Sauron beat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 General Mordor elections. Uruks put down, taunt and kill orcs for being a lesser race, they call men pinkskins and scum, and deny their heritage to the elves for hardcore feelings of shame of their racial origins. Mordor is made for bully's and it should stay that way. If they PC Tolkiens brilliant work I will refuse to pay for it or play or watch it.
I think if you had an army of deranged Uruks, you’d be giving up there personality’s and such, but you’d also make sure they would never betray you again. Most of them would be to deranged to betray probably. So I guess it’s either have Uruks with a soul and a personality or a broken, almost undead but not army. I guess making them all deranged would make sense since your punishing all for what happened to your family in the first one. I think I’m gunna try to get a whole region deranged and see what happens. Anyways, have a good day!
Honestly you should feel horrible for this. Yes he betrayed you, but only after you abandoned him and left him to bleed out. Then you proceed to shame him, a fate worse than death how many times?
Something at any rate, probably i tried reviving a downed allied orc but with this game’s garbage targeting system I kept on attacking enemies. He bled out and came back for me :(
I love it when my Orcs betray me and say “I know everything there is to know about you!” And then they aren’t frost proof, or fast learner, or vault breaker!
The one betrayal I got that just kind of rocked me to my core, he was my bodyguard and I called him in to help me with an Uruk and his blood brother. He minced them both up pretty well, then immediately betrayed me. I hot him down, and he defied death. So I beat him down again, and just as I was executing him he goes "Serves me right, I suppose. I should have known better than to betray you. Boss."

I recently shamed an overlord called Brog the Relentless and after the shame he was renamed to Brog the Bitter and started saying how depressing his life was with no meaning because the other Orcs laughed at him. After a lot of shames be became Brog the Broken and I killed him out of pity. It was very sad.
Have you considered the possibility that you're just an overly judgemental douchebag who enjoys looking down on people for innocuous bullshit that doesn't matter in an attempt to inflate your own ego by comparison?
Got a grunt i helped become overlord (for achievement) by letting him kill me 4 times. Once there, i attacked and took his fortress and shamed him until he was deranged. I then recruited him, leveled him backup and put him back as overload but for me this time. Was fun to do. I just reached lvl 40 and am having a blast playing this game.
I had an Orc named Horza the Vile who became terrified whenever an enemy became enraged. During a kill mission, he ran away and an Orc I really liked got killed. So I put him in the pits against a way stronger Orc as punishment. Horza won. So, I shunned him, and chased him down to shame him as much as possible. He eventually hit level 1 and I was gonna re-recruit him to throw him back into the pits. Then I ended up killing him with a standard combo. And that seemed anti-climactic, until I realized that he didn't deserve any better. Fuck you Horza the Vile, rest in peace Zunn the Driver and Amug the Tarkslayer.

After a lot of shames be became Brog the Broken and I killed him out of pity. It was very sad.
This game boosts my affinity for orcs.
Loved the crazy laughter. I want a berserker with that laughter
you need a maniac
Did the same, but instead of killing him i made him my legendary overlord :-P
4:45 there was a point we needed to stop and we have clearly passed it... let's keep going and see what happens.
You should do this to more orcs
Bro really gave Bolg that one bad day, and he turned into the Joker lmao.
SHAME
SHAME
SHAME
ringing bell
Good god, even that little theme you hear as you shame him, it really adds to the whole thing.
you mean the laughing with sadness? :(
All those cringe text faces make me think you probably message random girls calling them kawaii and try to role play with them
Ethan Alban thinking the same thing
well thats just really stupid
Have you considered the possibility that you're just an overly judgemental douchebag who enjoys looking down on people for innocuous bullshit that doesn't matter in an attempt to inflate your own ego by comparison?
Ork:"Hey, did you see this, there comes *Bolg the Facepalmed* !
Witness the mark of the bitchslap that has burned into his soul."
*”Come On, Hit Me You Damn Bat.”*
6:48
Bolg- "Ill kill you!"
Talion- "hol up, gotta get this haedir real quick"
Meanwhile Sauron is watching from Barad-Dur. Sauron: Oh boy, who is talion shaming today?
His laughs woke my dog up and looked at me like he was concerned
He went so deranged he inhaled enough helium to permanently change his vocal pitch
5:16 Jesus Christ, you turned him into the Joker.
Lmaooo they took away his name, now he’s just “bolg” I feel so bad for him
At some point *(preferably before he became deranged)* he probably said to himself “I should have stayed dead, bro.”
It's crazy how this game can make you feel guilty
half the fun in shaming Orcs is hearing them talk back to you about it.
You turned him into joker happy now
You didn’t just beat him. You BROKE him.
Nice video man keep up the good work
LOL
He seemed quite happy in the end, laughing like that!
Me after unlocking the shaming: "They face shame and it won't be pretty. Enough shame to leave them broken..."
This is so messed up especially when he starts laughing insanely, you utter monster
You broke him so hard he became The Joker
Ive shamed to the point of maniac and they jumped to a level 61 from level 5.. it sucked dealing with him.
maniac would give a lot of crazy things to orcs. Careful on fighting them
