Dodge chargers are beautiful agressive cars, my dream of owning one is the 2014 Dodge Charger R/T Max awd. I'm getting it as my first car, I remember falling in love with it since 8th grade and I still love it and gonna own it soon😎
So the car runs an 11.9 at 117.5mph in the 1/4 mile with density altitude corrections. That’s a very solid time and is usually what hellcats run in the 1/4 mile since they tend to spin a lot.
I’ve been following Dasllamas for a couple years now and have wanted to get an AWD Charger ever since seeing his build. Dodge quit offering the AWD Charger with the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 after the 2014 model year so the V6 has been the only way to get AWD in the newer models unless you get a Charger built for law enforcement. Dodge still builds an AWD V8 Charger for law enforcement and you can find them at auctions for pretty good prices. I’ve seen 2016 and newer AWD V8 Police Pursuit Chargers with under 100,000 miles for under $14k and even newer low mileage ones like this 2018 AWD V8 Charger with only 21,000 miles for $27k. It was a detectives car and isn’t all cut up and doesn’t have any holes from exterior lights or anything. It has cloth interior and a column shifter because it’s required for law enforcement vehicles but it’s in excellent condition and being a Police Pursuit Vehicle has the heavy duty electrical system, heavy duty suspension, brakes and cooling systems which make it a great candidate for modifying. This one even comes in a good color besides white or black. www.cargurus.com/Cars/t-Used-Dodge-Charger-Police-AWD-t57402#listing=265065942
Now that's what I'm talking about imagine awd hellcat charger that would be pretty cool but to bad awd was only for that year of charger I just think it should be optional
Technically this makes more power then the hellcat because most hellcats only make around 600 on the dyno the only thing you would might gain is the hellcat would probably be better at top end
Wynds Le God yea a SUV, I’m pretty sure dude meant what he said.. a hellcat charger aka a SEDAN.. n I agree wit him, I own a 19 hellcat charger n all I do is spin, if they made an AWD option I would’ve bought it instead. Couldn’t do burnouts but I’d win a hell of a lot more races.
Putting any off the shelf blower on these awd Chargers will result in endless easy off the line street traffic victories, with a launch that will upset almost anything, especially a Subaru driver. Honestly more fun than having a more powerful 2wd Mopar when it comes to owning things from a dig. A friend of mine has an 11 RT AWD with a Magnussen.
