The other day in my vets class I pinched my hand really badly on the rabbit carrier and kinda ripped a bit of skin off. My reaction was I looked at my injury on my hand and was just like "oh". Like super calm and stoic- none of my peers noticed until they saw the injury itself.

SingWithFire i really honestly didn’t mean it like that lol. all her pets look perfectly taken care of from what we can see, all her reptiles are healthy weights with no stuck sheds, her cats have plenty to play with, all her tanks are huge, etc. I know most people just see a lot of animals and scream “hoarder!” but i genuinely see nothing wrong with this because everyone is so well taken care of

Bitchy Princesss My aunt was a hoarder and I’m offended people call Taylor that. She takes care of her animals and cleans their cages, and most importantly she has a life. Hoarders would not make RUclips videos, their anxiety about hiding their lifestyle is huge. I understand if people think she has “too many” pets, but the pets are loved and cared for.
Proscriptus Exactly. People toss that word around but it is a debilitating mental illness. Taylor has anxiety but from what I can gather she uses her pets as therapy. They have better living situations than some humans.
@SingWithFire As a vet student, I can tell you that Taylor does not fit the criteria for being a hoarder. Her cages are beautiful, spacious, and clean.
Most importantly, her animals are at healthy weights and appear to be very happy and confident (yes, a few of her snakes are a bit fearful but 1) I've seen worse and 2) It is very typical for their kind.
She also has an assistant and a lot of money- so even though keeping this zoo is a lot of work/finances, she is able to do it (very well).
If you watch her animal care videos, it's obvious that she knows what she's talking about. She is incredibly intelligent and amazing at what she does.
Animal hoarding, just like any type of hoarding, is a very severe mental illness. If an animal hoarder has 4 animals who they neglect/abuse and refuse to give up, that's hoarding. It isn't about the number of animals- it's about their care, and they are obviously very well cared for

Eh. It’s part of owning a pet. Most pets can and will bite. I haven’t been bitten by my snakes yet, but it’s gonna happen one day and I’m prepared for that. This isn’t Taylor’s first time getting bit and it won’t be the last.

I have always wanted a boa constrictor or a ball python for forever!!! Ever sense I was like 7 or 8 I knew I would want to own a snake more specifically a boa constrictor! But sadly I have to wait because my parents absolutely hate snakes......😂👌

Hey, my mom hated them too until last week... Now we're planning on getting a hognose some time soon! Unfortunately my grandparents have always beheaded snakes (which sucks so much), and she just kinda grew up with that - both of my parents did - so, hey, that's a huge step forward! Hopefully you'll be able to get them to come around!
Violet, Tate, and Louis are all underweight. Their spines should not show like that. I suggest you look up their feeding charts to correct their sizes of prey.
Finally someone noticed! I feel bad for all of her animals, she has horrible husbandry and does not do her research besides the first thing that comes up on google. Impulse buyer to the extreme

I really want a pet snake I use to be scared but the more I’ve learned the more I want one but I’m afraid of getting bitten
I have a snake and I’ve worked with many species and individuals (I’ve handled about fifty, give or take). I’ve only been bitten by three. Many species are docile in general and unlikely to bite, depending on the individual. Bites don’t hurt, it’s more shocking than painful. Cat scratches are worse.
Tl;dr: don’t worry about getting bitten.

personally, I know you probably won't care about my opinion but...I wouldn't get more pets.
It's GREAT to love so many animals, and I think it's amazing that you opened your heart to so many. But many of your animals will have long life spans, and you can't count on a youtube career forever. There may come a time when you can't afford them all, and rehoming can be stressful to the pet.
Plus giving them all individual attention for several hours a day is a tricky thing, when many of them need at least an hour or two of individual care.
I know you will do what you want to do, but I hope you keep it in mind.
She doesn't give them ANY attention and she doesn't have to worry all to much about too expensive to care for bc they just constantly die

Better Help is something you should of be using back then and now!!! I think it would help through your sobriety to be honest!! Be honest did you really ever use it back then? I’m not bashing you by no means I’m being truthful and I’m proud that you are getting help now!!
•A hoarder just wants quantity, the psychological reward is buying/obtaining items they desire. After that the buzz wears off and the hoarder goes back on the lookout for more acquisitions. The maintenance of their hoard is negligible if any.
•A collector gets their satisfaction from the collection itself and takes pride in the display and husbandry or maintenance of the collection.
Notice the difference between a collection of shoes and a hoard of shoes - the collector keeps them in pairs, protected by wrapping or box and generally enjoys displaying them ( and a bit of flexing if they are expensive).
The shoe hoarder really has no idea what they own, keeps them in piles , in garbage bags or under the bed and doesn't care if they are pairs or singles or what.
Apply this to animals; where as shoes can last for years with out care, animals can't survive being hoarded/neglected. Seeing how TNDs pets are maintained, she definitely does *not* fall into the category of "hoarder".
I definitely have hoarder tendencies, but just moral wise I would never harm animals like that. I just do it in theory lmao.

I have a Ketith Haring hanging in my bedroom, which we just had sitting in the third floor for YEARS bc we didn't have space for it. Like why have the work of a famous artist if it's just going to sit there??? Like??? I really want to get rid of some of our paintings in storage. As much as I love them, we don't have the space to hang more without looking kinda insane lmfao. It's not quite to the point of full-on hoarding, but I really want to give away/sell at least some of them bc it's just a lot lol

you should try to put the mouse/rat in warm water and then right after offer it to Frank so it seems like it’s alive because its warm like a body. It worked for me when my ball python was refusing to eat and now he’s eating normally. Great video btw!!
