The revenge may be hard, but it's definitly worth it. She played with fire, tried to use someone(and inderectly his family) as a pedestrial and did a lot of things of illegal things.
And it's not like he invented something that she haven't done. She actually smoked illegal substances, she actually cheated, so in the end it's just pure karma. Like gambler, she knew that she could get a lot, but she also knew that she could lost everything by playing with fire. You choose to gamble, don't cry when you lost.

The step mom allowed people set up non legal stuff in the buildings, how can she a victim? Serves her right! I agree OP downplayed his emotions but nevertheless he was able to do justice and before someone tells me he could have gone to the police, if she had political conections, others would have covered her back, so getting such a big exposure was the way to go.
I think it was morally ok for what they did to Barbara cause one she screwed over the op and stole the house and money that should have gone to him and two anyone who takes part and receives financial gain for human trafficking doesn't deserve to have any human rights.
Absolutely agree with taking private pics/videos of someone during the act of sex without their express permission. With that being said. Yeah it's nice when folks don't have to do much for nuclear revenge. And yeah I think it's justified.

My dad married a wonderful woman from Taiwan after the passing of my mom at age79, and she's nothing like the 'step mom of horror' depicted in the story. She was divorced from her first husband so she has two children. In fact, I refused to call my dad's wife as a 'step' mom, but I treat her as a good friend, not just as her daughter because in fact, my mom who passed on will always be my mom.

If you’re willing to go so far as to treat people badly you must expect to receive the same treatment in the future. No I don’t have an issue with the revenge, it is really just karma in the end.
If one takes revenge against someone bad through actions that are just as bad I only have an issue if there are others not involved becoming involved in a negative way.

I don’t think OP downplayed how bad Barbara treated him or how OP felt about what she did to him. OP was just resigned that he couldn’t do anything about it at the time; no justice, no revenge, just defeated.
Then Mike the ‘wildcard’ came into play, and helped enable him to learn all Barbara’s mor recent misdeeds and get his revenge. But the best revenge was at the end when OP finished nuking her and moved on with his life with his GF/wife. Ultimate revenge is living well and enjoying your best life.

I relate to this so much. Last year my Nana passed. Growing up without a mom, my Nana was very much the influence i took after. I was far closer to her than i ever have been with my dad and brother. I died a little when she passed. Idk what possessed her to do this, but she made her niece, lets call her Helen, the executor of the will. And for some reason despite protest, Helen manipulated my brother into doing whatever and SOLD MY NANAS HOUSE AND PRACTICALLY TRASHED EVERYTHING IN IT. She took off with all the jewelry to “get it appraised” yeah right, that was a year ago and its still not back, except the few small pieces my wife asked for (my wife grew very close with my nana) in my state the executor gets commission on everything sold, and despite my nana wanting me to have the house, Helen sold the house to some of those grimy “house flippers” without my approval, for less than HALF its estimated value. I’m so furious, I basically grew up in that house and now its just gone and there’s nothing i can do….

When my grandparents got married my grandma had had my mom from a previous marriage. My grandpa offered to officially adopt her as part of the marriage ceremony. Most people don't even know my mom and grandpa are not biological family. But when my grandpa's mom died she left a doll in the will just for my mom, the only thing she wanted besides her grandma back. Sadly my grandfather's aunt took the doll, telling my mom she didn't deserve it since she wasn't really family. It's been almost 40 years and grandpa still won't talk to her.
*Story 1:* It's crazy how some karens (in this case *"Barbara"* ) think that they can just use whatever money they inherit to control the family business and disinherit the child of the family. I hope he gets revenge on her.

To me this seems a lot like it's not even revenge, Like it's more to stop a terrible person from repeatedly doing terrible things to his whole community....
W story, very entertaining
I find it incredible that the narrator is trying to make the claim that violating Barbara's privacy was going too far...despite the fact that Barbara is a _human trafficker._
I mean, going over everything in the story; she gets with this guy's dad, just so that she can have an anchor in the United States to bring her entire family over here, she gets him to start up a bunch of businesses for her family, and she _isolates his son from him,_ so she can more easily remove him from the picture.
Then as soon as the guy dies, she takes all his money and kicks the kid to the curb. She buys up some apartment buildings which are literally used as Whore-Houses - and from what the story described, is probably filled with a bunch of women smuggled into the country. So yeah, she's a human-trafficker.
Hell, the ironic thing is, she was probably using Mike to get pregnant, so she could then claim that it was her Boyfriend's baby, just so she could entrap him the same way she did this guy's father.

This wasn't revenge this was punishment. Revenge is not a valid motive, it's an emotional response.
Maybe he changed his mind when he could know of the immigrants being explored of the dead and it is the same reason as mikey because his sister like him is a immigrant and he could likely too be in a situation like that and he didn´t want with her or some other person who has a sister to that happen
