I once ordered some dummy ww2 german graneds and german helmet but accidently sent them to the wrong adress. I could imagen these people when they open it and see two graneds and a helmet. Thankfully they sent it back to seller so i got my stuff at the end lol

I can't help but imagine you as one of those boys in those dire times, marching for certain death especially at the eastern front.... brings tears to my eyes. Really great video, my grandpa was 1941 part of Operation Barbarossa. He fought at Leningrad and later in 1944 he was moved to the Westfront/Western front and was part of the Ardennenoffensive/Battle of the Bulge, after the Battle of the Bulge he was again moved to the Ostfront/Eastern front in the Battle of Berlin he was captured by the Russians and brought to a hospital in Russia, to work there. 1946 he and a friend broke out of the hospital and run back to Germany. Sorry for my bad English im from Germany.
My grandpa was an Italian Soldier of the Bersaglieri, fought from ’40 to ’43 for Italy in Greece then Russia, after capitulation he fought for the Germans since he was half German, until 1945, he was then captured by the British. RIP Nonno 1985.
It depends at what front they have fought. Soldiers have not fought all day long. There were a lot of long periods without combat situations. I dont recommend the eastern front as you can imagin.
Many were taken after the war by Soviets to camps, tortured then killed or maimed by American Ally troops. They were the “enemy” so it was all fair game

The fact of how his expression as the outfits change to a style of a tactical offense to a horrible defense is amazing. It changes from a warrior, ready to fight while invading the neighboring countries, to the Battle of Berlin as a nervous soldier not knowing what's around, knowing the war will end at any given second.
I like the use of the fury theme. I also like how you included the fact that near the end of the war the soldiers were not heavily equipped. I also like how you had the Eihandgranate on a uniform, not many people know of that grenade and just opt for the stielhandgranate.
There where a ton of continental canteens in Panzer Corps Afrika like 9/10 canteens where continental ones, the "coconut" canteen was a rare thing to see. Even in Europe there was a mix between Africa Corps and continental stuff
Hey I have a question about reproduction German greatcoats. I recently bought an M40 from Epic Militaria and i noticed that it lacks some of the features/details of my old Sturm brand coat. Are you wearing a Sturm coat in the video? If you're familiar with Epic's coat would you say i can get by with it or will it be unacceptable for reenacting?

There where a ton of continental canteens in Panzer Corps Afrika like 9/10 canteens where continental ones, the "coconut" canteen was a rare thing to see. Even in Europe there was a mix between Africa Corps and continental stuff
Seems like every era solider had a confident face, that is until Battle of Berlin, his faced looked worrisome

You’ve never seen them in movies because movies are shit reference points
Flashlights were EXTREMELY common. Almost every soldier had one, you either had your own civilian one or you would get one from the military

Hey I have a question about reproduction German greatcoats. I recently bought an M40 from Epic Militaria and i noticed that it lacks some of the features/details of my old Sturm brand coat. Are you wearing a Sturm coat in the video? If you're familiar with Epic's coat would you say i can get by with it or will it be unacceptable for reenacting?
Where do you get all this cool stuff? I've been trying to get into reenactments for a while and currently I've gotten myself an American U.S. 1941 Dress Uniform and both a replica P08 "Luger" and MP40. I want to add more to the collection and it seems like you know where to go
