Men are those who can really show respect to the original soldiers Who mostly had no decision instead of behaving like a little naive Hitler youth dipshit, which prefers to be seen as a glorious soldier than actually earning this Status.

    • @WhattAreYouSaying

The M/37 greatcoat looks basically just like a regular greatcoat/trenchcoat...Go for it! It will keep you warm and stylish. But I recommend you to remove any "nazi" symbols. Most people nowdays do not recognize "nazi" clothes without symbols. With my U-boat jackets I have actually got compliments, like "nice jacket" or stuff like that. And even if you wear a German coat does not make you a nazi.

Ah this takes me back when I did reenacting back in the mid 80s. We had a lot more original kit as repros were hard to find so it made the interest more expensive. That said our old unit commander Tom "Wolf" Gulliver made jump smocks from old boiler suits but in the decades to come his later versions were spot on replicas and have gained an almost cult following and when they come up fo sale they go very quickly. Lots of people saying "he hasn't got this, he hasn't got that", give the guy a break, like anyone we all had to start somewhere.

Is that belt comfortable to wear, and is it adjustable? I am thinking of getting one, but can not find much information on it. Also does it use holes for a pin in the belt, or a clamp?

I see you have the Esbit stove! The fuel tablets smell like rotten shrimp, but they give off nice heat and one piece can boil a cup of water in about five minutes, depending on the weather. They're also great for just warming your hands!

A member of my family was in the FJ 1941-1945..Seeing you get dressed reminds me of the old photos I used to find in the attick..Keep the history alive as an interesting fact from somebody who spoke numerous times with a real FJ..most of the members were not registered Nazis..not even the officers

Damn! You look good. and you make it look so Easy, too. I know- practice helps. I also begin to see why the Germans jumped head-first, as if diving out of the plane.
