Great video, I love watching him talk about his unique way of creating manga. An aside, I love the translator's reaction @ 13:07 when she hears the price.
Actually, it's much easier for Mr. Araki to use copyrighted material, since he is from japan and most stuff he references is from other countries. Asano on the other hand, focuses most on the japanese aesthetic. ☝🤓
This was so helpful. Somehow this has to be shared around more - I know fans of Inio Asano would DIE knowing there's more in-depth, subbed videos describing his process!
Un capo realmente, cada que leo y veo más y más entrevistas de él, no puedo dejar de ganar respeto y admiración por su persona. Realmente es un capo con las herramientas digitales a la hora de hacer manga.
Great video, very interesting point of view on the future of tech and manga together, though I think that turning characters into 3d models is a bit too much
It's a technique not a style, you can copy any technique you want you wont do the same as someone else :) Plus pretty sure he isn't the only mangaka exploiting this
It is nice, but there is a lot of misinformation. 12:36 - That scene can be easily done by one man. He overall seems to realy underestimate, how easy it is to build something fast in 3D for reference like that, today. You can literaly find lazy tutorials for this on RUclips. It is realy strange to me, like someone, who work closely with 3D, doesn't seems to know that. Other stuff is realy great, I just don't like how hard he make it look (I mean that 3D part). It's not. Just go for it.
Someone who is dedicated to making comics hardly has time to show up at these events. It should not be forgotten that not everyone has the same time or the same priorities.
You don’t have to make a manga to be a mangaka just make a comic, you shouldn’t dream to be a mangaka anyway the way mangakas are treated isn’t healthy with all the deadlines and rushing especially if you’re making a weekly published comic.
Inio Asano, I'll never forget his name. I am super happy and grateful that i had found his works on my lifetime.
that's beautiful, punpun did for me :(
Never Forget his name, his works and the impact he left for my entire lifetime

Lol that reaction is hilarious. Didn't notice that the first time
This guy works crazy hard. Think I'll buy the dead dead volumes once the series finishes
its a really great series u should def get it
I plan to do the same, and now the manga is really close to end!
It's a beautiful series with lots of great art
3:42 "there are copyright issues to using it in a manga"
*Hirohiko Araki has left the server*

情報量の多い空間にシンプルなキャラクターが存在することで、より一層物語が際立っているという気もしてる。
Just for a second we stare at panel in manga, but to create the amazing panel need hard work and effort...how crazy is that.... dedication

The sheer amount of effort put into everything he makes blows my mind. I wish to be a manga artist like him some day
The translator’s scarf is so cute. It really goes with her hair and earrings.

This man is special. What a mind.
Great video, very interesting point of view on the future of tech and manga together, though I think that turning characters into 3d models is a bit too much

Modern day maestro
I wish it is really okay to copy this style since I struggle in drawing backgrounds as well :
It's a technique not a style, you can copy any technique you want you wont do the same as someone else :) Plus pretty sure he isn't the only mangaka exploiting this

He doesn’t try to make it sound that 3D is hard. It is hard, for him. He’s only getting better, so I think he’ll find a better way eventually.
Yep, he said he just know the basics

ur the one whos misinformed lmao.
Миша привет
such incredible and tiresome work
To bad you pretty much need to be Japanese to be a mangaka I gave up on that dream years ago
You don’t have to make a manga to be a mangaka just make a comic, you shouldn’t dream to be a mangaka anyway the way mangakas are treated isn’t healthy with all the deadlines and rushing especially if you’re making a weekly published comic.
True ;-;
@@temerianlillies Yeah. He can have a manga inspired art style. Or just do it as a hobby.
