this video shows you step by step how to remove the subframe by yourself on jack stands safely.
I'm getting the subframe reinforced and welding in the anti-squat kit from GKTech, then getting it powder coated. I have all new bushings and suspension arms going on this too. It's going to drive like a brand new car when I'm done.
be sure to subscribe and follow the process
Man, this might be the best damn skyline channel on RUclips!
Thanks mate 👍
Excellent tutorial video. Going to help me massively as I’ll be doing the same on my drive way in the next couple of months when the weather gets better 👍
One of the best things you can do for these old cars
Yeah I'm digging this! We are laying out plans for new upper/lower arm bushings, coil overs, HICAS delete, stiffened members and solid chassis bushings in '23. Thank you for the instructions!!!!
Makes a huge difference!
Fantastic video mate, by the time you’re reading this… I’m halfway through uninstalling mine😅
one of the best upgrades you can do to these cars
Man, when the subframe fell on your fingers I felt that pain lol
Ha, it definitely looks bad in the video clip, but thankfully no damage done
Great video, and thanks for the tip on the small grey ATTESA connector, it worked well.
Glad it was helpful 👍
Very helpful thank you. My attessa pressure canister needs to be replaced 😂 no choice really but to do this also😢
Good luck, it's not too bad
Great video!
very informative video thank you, great job.
Thanks for watching
Just want to say I love your videos! These are awesome. Thanks from Australia, the home of the best GTRs
Thanks for the kind words. I agree with you that the best GTRs are from AUS.
Lots of Aussie parts on my car 👍
Hello thank you for the video. In addition to the 3 big plugs for the ATTESSA pump, I have a longer, small, two pin brown connector. I can’t figure out where it goes. Would you know?
Thank you.
What model do you have? R32, r33, GTR, gtst etc
@@PlatoonGarage it is an r32 gtr.
@@harjunLFS where is the plug located, and can you trace where the wires go?
@@PlatoonGarage it is with those three plugs which go to the attessa pump.
The cable is slightly longer though but I can’t see anything else there it plugs in to.
@@harjunLFS don't know what that goes to then. Is your car modified? Something aftermarket perhaps
Did you take the coilovers out first? I didn’t see that step
Review at 1:32 it's step #7 👍
Where did you buy your bushings from? I’ve been waiting for years for superpro ones to be restocked.
I bought whiteline bushes, straight from their website
Could you post a link please? Bushings are the only thing holding up my build😩😩

Love this video. Did you import this GTR from the UK then?
Yes, I actually imported this GTR to the UK from Japan when I was living there.
Then shipped it to the States
@@PlatoonGarage ahh ok. I was thinking can't imagine many people in America import from the UK with our winters. I'm just looking at importing or buying one already in the UK. Would you recommend an importer? 👍
@@andrewspragg6221 not sure how I missed this comment from 10 months ago, sorry about that. If you haven't already gotten one, you can check out torque gt, hja, or jm imports
