Which Drumstick Brand Is The Best for Rock?

In this video, we will be reviewing major drumstick brands to find out which one is the best! We will be comparing Vic Firth, Vater, ProMark, Ludwig, Los Cabos, Wincent, and Innovative Percussion drumsticks, all sized at 5B.
I will play 1,200 rimshots for each pair of drumsticks and take a look at the damage that we see. I'll also be reviewing how they feel in the hands and how cool their branding is just for fun.
It turns out, playing 1,200 rimshots is extremely painful and you'll see that in this video (haha).

Very informative. I'm VERY heavy handed on a kit. I've been through several hundred dollars' worth of sticks and heads. Can you consider doing a head test video in a similar manner?

This is awesome! I’ve always primarily played promark, with the exception of Vic Firth here and there. But since 2012, I can’t not use the Promark 2S Shira Kashi Oak. I’ve never experienced sticks that are as durable as the shira kashi wood. Not to mention that 17 inch extension! But, goddam are they expensive…. Like, come on.

@@DruMarshallDrums haha yup. I used to buy them in bulk when they were cheaper. Now it’s insane… same thing with the Japanese white out 747bs. I gotta say - they never break so you save your money in the long run 😂
